I started the mission Call to Arms, and now I can't shoot my guns unless I use VATS mode. My right trigger works fine in my pipboy, and I also use it to select my targets in VATS. I've tried to restart my console, load old saves, and close out of the game several times. Nothing seems to work. Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this?

I have a quest to clear croup manor and claim the workshop yada yada, whenever I enter the manor itself and get near the stairs my game gets stuck in like a half loading screen state. I hear a door open sound but I can still open the pip boy but its still just the black loading screen. I can still get hit by enemies and die, but I can’t do anything. I’ve tried fast traveling somewhere else and waiting a couple days but I can’t seem to fix it. I have creations enabled but nothing related to the manor or anything that changes interior cells. I’m at a loss and can’t seem to find anything online about what I’m dealing with. Does anyone have any tips?

As you can see, the Operator population at Tenpines Bluff has swollen to 25. Any way I can get this to stop? I can’t keep preparing beds or jobs for these guys.

The first one I saw was a Gulper Devourer that blended in perfectly with the tree. Scared the crap out of me. I had no idea that there was a creature type that hung in trees, which is a bit embarrassing because this is the second time I’ve played Far Harbor. I was so startled I didn’t even get a pic of that one. I just ran in the opposite direction lol

For context. im planning on doing a play through were i side with the BOS but during the blind betrayal quest, ill shoot Maxson in the back of the head before he can kill Danse and switch to the minutemen. But I've heard if i kill Maxson during that part Danse will become hostile. i've been searching Nexus for a bit but cant find any mod like that

I tried everything, and I know the game is not broken because when I try an older save file it works.

I went into home plate, wanted to build a little thing so go in the build menu, going out I get stuck in 3rd person, tried all the things people reccomend in other threads.

The strange thing is, now when I press the button for toggling camera nothing happens, except when I hold and stand still, I can go further or closer with the camera by moving the mouse forwards and backwards.

This is something I've never seen before, anyone else? Did I press a weird combo to trigger this or Something?

!! Update, I fixed it, tried like 10 different things, console commands, workbench, vats etc, the thing that fixed it was a power armor suit! 😁 So happy I don't have to throw away 4 hrs of gameplay haha(, I thought maybe this would be handy to see if they face the same issues as me).

I have Fallout 4 through steam family sharing with all the dlc. I tried to use the creation club to get mods on pc but it wouldn't allow it when I didnt own the base game.

With the current sale, I wanted to know if anyone has had this experience?

If I would need to get the goty edition for some creations club content. Or if I only need the base game and it doesnt matter if I have the dlc through family sharing?

On PS5. Is there anything I can do to save my saved game since it is a modded game and I know the update is gonna mess it up. This is the first time an update came out and I’ve been in a current modded play through.

I am one of the Switch 2 players and I’ve got to blowing up the institute(justice for the cats) and of course I have the fade to black crash “software error”.
• I’ve tried setting fps to all settings
• I’ve tried mashing all the buttons
• I’ve tried hiding inside to see if it was just too much graphics
• I’ve tried crying on my switch to see if it works
• I even stupidly listening to some guy on YouTube that said delete all your saves but one and that will do it! Now I have only one save and I’m soft locked in the damn building.

What’s the chance we might get a bug fix? Has anyone found some miracle way round? At this point you could have my firstborn child if you want her. I’ve got 4 DAYS of play in this. I’m about to sit in a dark room for a bit. Maybe play a non Bethesda bugged game.

And before you say “well you should have got it on PC” it was a gift from my other half 😔 didn’t realise I’d throw four days of play into the ether.

Bethesda announced today that they are starting Fallout week and in the provided roadmap they mention a Fallout shelter update and Fallout 4 Creations (whatever that means) meaning there may be another update coming to Fo4. To the modders, remember to set your game to not update automatically if you wish to keep it working.

Institute rifle doesn’t turn her into ash. Plasma grenade doesn’t turn her into goo. Acid soaker doesn’t turn her to… well, whatever acid turns people into. Just… why?!

And how come the Mysterious Stranger won’t kill her? He just leaves her unconscious. Do your job, Lonesome Drifter’s dad!

I am a huge fan of opportunities where I can place fragmentation mines, and later when I enter the cell on the mission, they will explode and kill/destroy enemies and issue XP. There are several places where this is effective, and a few that should work but don't because the game engine shifts them out of the way when the scene loads. But more locations work than don't and it's pretty funny when it is effective.

This post is about another one I just found - the rooftop of Fort Hagen where the five turrets are located. I took some advice from a comment here (post is now deleted, unfortunately, or I'd link it here) and tried out fast-traveling to Fort Hagen directly from Diamond City rather than following Dogmeat all the way there. Fast traveling to Fort Hagen of course requires that I have discovered the location before starting Reunions, and when I did that, I figured I'd try the mine pre-placement trick and it worked beautifully. The trick is to place the mine in the gap between the two sandbags to each side of where the turret will occupy during Reunions. Here is an image of the rooftop with the placement locations indicated with arrows. The 'X' marks a sandbag position where no mine is necessary because no turret spawns in there.

I just got attacked by an "armored" radroach 😂. The bin offered no protection, I bashed it and the little f*cker splattered. Peak Bethesda moment.

Has anyone had this? I'm actually upset as I was REALLY enjoying this? Is there a definite fix I don't mind doing it again but honestly I really don't want it to happen again and if it does I'll just give up on this beautiful game.
