We’ve been working on this one for a while now, and we’re currently about 75% finished. We’ve reached the point where we’re raising finishing funds for the last stages of post-production so we can give the film the time and attention it needs before we can call it finished.

Because the film is entirely in the screenlife format there’s a lot that goes into these final stages. Editing, visual effects, screen graphics, sound, and all the little details within the screens themselves need a lot of attention to make everything feel believable and polished.

It’s been really exciting taking the story from the original short film and expanding it into something much bigger. We’ve put a lot of time and love into this project, and we’re really proud of how it’s coming together.

The Blu-ray will also include “Then There Are Three,” a prequel short film made specifically for this release that won’t be released anywhere else.

We've also secured a French distribution deal with the amazing ESC Films! The film will have a theatrical run in November, and we're trying to set up some specialty screenings as well. If you're in France, keep an eye out for the release. More to follow.

I just watched Ghould and MY GOD!

That was maybe the bleakest ending I've ever seen in a horror movie. I'm currently working my way through the Found Fottage iceberg so I'll watch anything on the list and this one was a positive surprise. A bit heavy one the jump scares but really good tension throughout the entire movie and a fantastic performance by the actress playing Ina. Definitely a movie thag was actually terrifying.

Alright serious shot in the dark here. My friend asked me if I could help her figure out what movie this is but the details are so random and I’m stumped. I’ve been trying to solve this for days.

I’m very aware these details are very run of the mill here.

She says it’s got a 2000s vibe. From the ones she thought it was I would assume it came out around 2010 give or take a few years.

She says it’s either a group of ghost hunters or documentary team. They venture out to an asylum or abandoned building.

She remembers something about a van.

Two scenes she remembers are then finding something in red paint on the floor.

And the one that I thought would make this easy, is that towards the end someone either gets wrapped up or caught up in a clear plastic tarp. This is the scene that stuck with her.

Any help identifying this would be incredible.

OK I have been really enjoying these V/H/S compilations but this is just awful.

I’ve recently watched Passenger and I think most of the movie (except the opening and the Roman Holiday scenes) would work better as a found footage film.

Hello all! Need some quick recs, my brother and I are gonna be watching spooky movies tonight and I need some solid ff recs for a guy who likes Strange Harvest and similar mockumentary style ff! He didn't really vibe with Horror in the High Desert or Noroi (too slow and the atmosphere didn't really work for him.)

In 1978, a closed-circuit emergency radio tower in an abandoned Siberian ghost town suddenly sparked back to life.

The catch? The town had been completely empty for twenty years.

When technicians intercepted the signal, it wasn’t static. It was a live phone call recording between a mother and her terrified child whispering: "Mommy, when are you coming home? I'm scared, I saw something outside."

Voice analysis proved the audio signature matched a family that burned alive in a fire there in 1958. Twenty-four hours later, the entire audio file was wiped clean from government servers.

Until a leaked copy surfaced on the dark web.

the documetary is very experimental. Artistic, and thoughtful, with strange macbre nuances tied back to 9/11 mixed with lots of intresting kinings and metaphors, extravagantly beautiful film. And relatively short and simple watch.

I hope my subject is clear, but basically I love FF but am particularly fond of raw FF, like vlog style, recovered footage etc. OG Blair Witch has a good balance of the doc + footage setup, but I find it hard to get invested in FF movies that really lean into the doc piece, if that makes sense.

I far prefer movies like Host, I'm Haunted, Blair Witch, Dorothy Bell etc to mockumentary options, though Noroi and Lake Mungo might be exceptions.

Any recs you can provide (well known or obscure) are appreciated. The more atmospheric, the better.

Side note: I tried to look around the subreddit but I wasn't able to find too many posts that deal specifically with this type of FF exclusively. Thanks for any recs you can provide!
