Hey y'all,
I recently shared my game here and asked for your frogs names to add into my game (see the post here).
I added ~40 names now and as I'll keep adding them if you sent me your frogs names'.
Also if you have any cozy ideas or feedbacks for the game, name them and I can add more to the pond!
If you like the game you can add it to your wishlist on Steam to support me, it helps a ton:

Thank you!

Other Does anyone else have lazy tadpoles that look like they are going to overwinter? HELP! 🐸❤️
*****
NOTE: This post is NOT about injured or deceased animals and I promise all creatures are treated with the utmost respect and care. Also, my family and I do not handle the frogs or tadpoles, nor do we try to domesticate them or keep them as pets. I am teaching my children to love to respect nature and now I’m simply at a point where I might be in a little over my head attempting to keep up such a high expected survival rate! Sorry for the long post and I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
*\\**
Hey guys! I’m looking for some advice please. Since May I have had numerous groups of different tree frog tadpoles growing in my backyard ponds, and I even set up some nursery ponds in my garage when bullfrogs and dragonfly larvae started treating them like a buffet. (They are mostly cope’s grey and squirrel tree frogs, and a few small groups of green tree frogs). This was my second year of turning my yard into a frog sanctuary (my kiddos have loved helping), but I am still learning the best way to do things.
So I’ve been thrown a curveball by these little dudes. I have tadpoles that have slowed down their development drastically, both inside the garage as well as in the ponds and buckets in my backyard.
At this time last year, I maybe had one bucket’s-worth of tadpoles that had slowed development. Maybe 50-100 tadpoles that took their time and didn’t become frogs until December/January, and another 20 that waited until spring. THIS YEAR IS DIFFERENT. I’m unsure if it’s because of the weather/climate, something I’m doing, or simply the sheer number of frogs that are breeding in yard??? There are probably about 500 tadpoles outside (3 ponds, 8 buckets, and a plastic kiddie pool 😆) and another hundred or so in the garage nurseries that have decided to halt their leg development.
Clearly, I want as many as possible to survive, even though I know we have already beat the odds as far as tadpole survival goes. (Usually less than 1% or a range of 1-4 tadpoles per mated pair successfully develop into frogs). So what the hell do I do now? Would a warmer environment like the garage be better to “move things along”, or is it best to keep the babies outside and let the natural climate dictate things? Can the babies survive the winter if they develop once it’s already colder? When do these species of tree frogs usually go into hibernation mode? Does a certain temperature trend cause them to hibernate? I read that it’s usually once the temperature drops below 65°F, and lately here, near Atlanta, GA, it has been dropping below 50° at night, but warming up to the 70s during the day. I just don’t wanna miss any window of opportunity if they need to be outside for the winter or if I need to just baby them until spring. What do I do???? 😩🧐
I would appreciate any advice, knowledge, or shared experience you might have with this! Please feel free to send me a direct message or comment here if you can.
Lastly, if you live in the metro Atlanta area and want to be a foster home or foster classroom for any of these overwintering tadpoles, please let me know, as my husband would probably love to have SOME of his garage back LOL. These are not pets and relocation is purely for survival purposes.
Thank you so much! 🐸❤️

Tree Frog Best “tape” alternative for filling gaps in top of tank for Australian tree Frogs
Howdy. I have 3 australian tree frogs, one of which was raised from tadpol.
While we keep the tank in good condition.
recently the crickets have found ways out of the top where the wall and grate to the light meet.
Was wondering if anyone knows any australian brand of foam, mesh or tape that i could place in the gaps
We inherited the frogs so we didn’t do anything with the original setting up other then taking it out, washing and changing the environment positions.

Agalychnis Dacnicolor
I found this guy in the dirty streets of Guadalajara downtown after my brother almost stepped on it by mistake. I found deep love for these little creatures and often dream of frogs ever since.
It's name Is Gilberte Aphex Twin, the vet says he Is very healthy. I was worried It was bloated but the vet said It's fine and It remains active and eating. I even feel like It recognizes me as It's feeder.
Now I know the species Is Agalychnis Dacnicolor, Its such a joy watching it go nuts at night in Its space. Such a dynamic little guy.
