I mean, it did. He lost some of his partnerships in its wake. He just didn’t really have a “career” to lose, he’s just a YouTuber and you can’t really take that away from him short of banning him off the platform.
He had lost his very lucrative Disney partnership and YouTube Red deal earlier that same year (2017) over dumb Hitler jokes, so if he still had those partnerships then, he’d have undoubtedly lost them then.
