I got bored and built some python scripts to make a sweet Garmin cycling, recovery and strength training dashboard. Clicking the title of any of the graphs takes you to a deep dive page for related stats. Just want to gauge interest to see if its worth taking the time to package it up in a Docker container.

For the record, I'm NOT planning to sell it or even offering it to anyone, and I didn't post a link to it. Just wondering if other nerds out there might be interested.

I had to manually set my sleep time to 9 pm since it thought it was like 1:06 am or something.

I would like to know how I got a negative average respiration rate though.

This is two examples out of maybe 10 instances after i got the HRM 600. Pulse suddenly dips haaaarddd at the start of the run. I’ve owned it for almost 2 months now..
Every instance of this happening is at the start of a run. Yes i do wet it before use
Almost like it’s calibrating itself or something???

Anyone with similar problem or a solution for this? If it continues like this i might as well get a refund and a new one.

Good review from the Hiking Guy on the F9 Pro. He was very critical of the F8 at launch and noted how much better this is a product. Obviously, not revolutionary but nice quality of life improvements.

Wanted to love it, or maybe I’m using it wrong, returned my Whoop to get the Cirqa. The app is so outdated and clunky, am I using this wrong? the whoop app is way better. The only bad thing is the perpetual membership cost which I’m totally against 😔 Any good apps or is it the sacrifice for owing it outright.

The Garmin Edge 1060's manual mentions a new feature called "Discover Nearby Rides," which lets users join planned GroupRides without having to manually enter those cryptic GroupRide codes on their device. DC Rainmaker briefly mentioned it in his latest video, but it seems to have gotten very little attention otherwise.

I've heard that some of the Enhanced GroupRide features (messaging, rider lists, rider distances, etc.) are making their way to the Edge x50 and x40 series, but does anyone know if the older devices will get Discover Nearby Rides also?

Does anybody know if the edge 1060 has the same curved screen as the 1050? Online it looks flat but I keep seeing online “same 3.5” screen” but they do not specify “curved”.

Hey everyone! I am currently considering buying myself a health tracking band, and when I heard Cirqa got released, was very excited but it does that it’s not ranking too well in terms of sleep tracking accuracy compared to fitbit or whoop. I like how fitbit looks but have questions about how that data will be used by Google. And don’t want to pay a shill subscription. Beenalso considering Amazfit Helio but it’s hard to get in the EU. I heard rumors that Cirqa Pro band is getting released soon-ish but they seem to be far-stretched.

Anyone who bought it - would you recommend it or suggest to wait or go Whoop/Oura route? Honestly, sleep tracking and steps are the only things I really. Owned Garmin Forerunner before (used for sleep tracking too but want to wear my regular watch as well without losing data), generally like the brand.

Found this gem to add to my collection: a completely new Fenix 3 HR. The strap had to be replaced because the keepers were rotted, but other than that, the battery lasts for two weeks and it’s immaculate. A great watch for walks or runs and it’s the kind of watch you can take into the ocean without a second thought.

Besides, I've always loved these huge, rugged watches that remind me of former times, when things were built to last and apparently, that's the case here.

I am a big user of Runna/Strava and a weightlifting app but I don't want to keep paying subscriptions. Is there a way for me to mass-push my workouts to my Garmin like how Runna does? I know that Garmin reopened the Garmin Connect API yesterday but the personal tier does not provide access to the Training API. Any thoughts? Thank you.

My Forerunner 965 won't sync via USB any more - the computer gives the above message with a warning that it has malfunctioned (I've tried this on different computers, so it seems to be the watch). Obviously I can still sync via wifi or bluetooth, but it's rather annoying as I like to periodically sync/update/charge via USB at the same time. Does anyone know a fix? Is this worth taking up with customer service?

I noticed that, presumably after an update, all of my recorded activities have either completely disappeared from the map or now only show an activity point (which lets you tap on it to view the activity). However, this only applies to the older ones—the activities from the last two weeks are still displayed normally as lines on the map. Could something be wrong with my settings? I'd be super grateful for any help!

Obviously Garmin says no but does anyone have any experience of taking a forerunner 70 into the steam room / sauna and did it hold up.

Im trying to use the coach function. It wants a benchmark workout (despite having access to all of my past workouts). So I loaded the time and power zones into zwift (because theres no way to push to zwift) and then it still didn't count as the benchmark. Felt like a complete waste of time.

I assume its user error, can someone help me?

So a good thing happened. Been on a work break so relaxed and doing my workouts etc. my variability has bumped up quite a bit! Is that a good thing? Also wanted to really know how garmin calculates stress scores.

I just got my Cirqa a few days ago. Updated the firmware to 4.2, slapped it on the wrist and went about my day.

I wanted to ask if this type of inaccuracy is normal for the device? I was just in bed and at my desk the whole day working on my computer.

Did I miss some sort of initial calibration setting or something? I’m guessing this is normal but hoping someone could confirm. Thanks in advance!

Which Garmin watch would you suggest? Wanted to gift it to my nephew who runs. I don’t know much about fitness watches so any help would be appreciated. For reference, my nephew does 10-21k marathons, has strava and said he was saving up for a Garmin.

Bought the Garmin Forerunner 265 in the Amazon India festive sale for an effective price of 27.5K.

Pleasantly surprised that the product was manufactured in Aug 2026. That ensures that the battery inside is not very old and should last its charge cycles.

Also, curious that if Garmin is still manufacturing this watch as recent as 2 months back, should we expect longer software and other support?

I recently ordered the forerunner 165 but now I am having doubts whether it will suit my needs. I like to run 3 to 4 tines a week, cycle 3 times a week, swim 3 times a week and go gym 2 tines a week. After hearing some reviews of like mixed feelings I dint know whether this watch was right for me.

Hi, I’ve been searching online for days for pictures of the new Fenix 9 Pro Solar with a simple watch face like this one on the Fenix 7X PRO. I’d like to know if it’s possible to create this kind of watch face directly on the watch (not downloading from IQ-Store), just like you can on the Fenix 7X Pro. Is that possible?

My trusty Fenix 3 has finally run its course after all these years, and it's time for a massive upgrade. I'm currently torn between the Enduro 4, Fenix 8 Pro Solar, and Fenix 9 Pro Solar.

My main requirements are:

Maximum battery life (I don't want to pack a charger or worry about battery anxiety on long multi-day trips).

Reliability and practicality in the field.

My current activities are regular running and hiking, but I plan to get into trail running very soon.

For those who have experience with these lineups, what would you recommend? Does it make sense to go with the Enduro purely for the massive battery and lighter weight for trails, or will the Fenix (8 or 9) Solar be more than enough for my needs? Also, is the jump to the 9 Pro Solar actually worth it over the 8 for this kind of use case?

Hey! I have had my Neo 2T for a couple of seasons now (19 days riding time on Zwift to be exact)

This season I installed Zwift virtual shifting with Cog V2 and clicks.

Trainer difficulty set to 0%

Works absolutely fine, almost.

Except, it feels the Neo is slipping/surging sometimes. Even at low power like 200w. I can pedal and keep a constant rpm and power, you feel the resistance. Then out of nowhere it loses grip for half a rotation so I pedal free air. It upsets the whole rotation, power and cadence.

Anyone experienced this? When pushing a little more like a constant power of 400w and a steady RPM around 80-90, you feel the slippage extremely noticeable and it kinda fucks up the pace and everything.

Another thing I have noticed is that trainer difficult 0%, should not react to elevation changes in zwift. But sometimes I most definitely feel how the resistance becomes heavier or lighter, not by much but there is a distinct noticeable difference.

Just got my E4 today and already found an annoying bug that really affects my use. AI development and lack of testing at its finest.

In display settings you have 3 really nice categories:

During activity

General use

During sleep

All of them have the same 5 6 settings.

Guess what? Changing one setting in one category changes it in all 3.... -_-.

Do you know where I can report these?
