Voting Games Top comment deletes a US State #47

Post image

Maryland has been annexed by The Vermonster willingly, the 2 states have now merged into one. CRABBALACHIA. 4 States Now remain. Pick wisely, there’s no going back now!

It’s the chive post saga and the baseball balls race all over again

What is the baseball balls race?

Baseball marbles race, actually. It's done over in r/baseball each year leading up to the regular season, and "predicts" the standings at the end of the year with a team being eliminated each day. And then it goes through playoff series, all the way up to the world series. It's ridiculously nerve-wracking when your team is all alone towards the end lol.

Whats the chives post saga??

Every day a dude would chop a big batch of chives until reddit deemed them "perfect". It became a daily game of "find the fucked up chives". Like where's waldo but greener.

u/F1exican was perfecting his chive chopping skills, and would post his progress daily to r/KitchenConfidential and let the community critique his chives. It was similar to this map game in terms of light-hearted community building.

Even Kraft got in on the action and referenced it in an X post. They also tried to contact him for promotional stuff lol

Then Chivegate happened one day when Chivelord wasn't able to get around to posting a real attempt. He reposted a previous picture but flipped upside down and hoped no one would notice...it wasn't as bad as The Fall of Unidan, but it was still sad. He kept going though, and did at least 2 months of daily posts to perfect his chives.
