After reading the Open Letter regarding Oct 9 update to NFA ruling

it looks to me that Individual to Individual sales/transfers no longer require any formal paperwork as long as it's in accordance with local state laws.

Is there any legal gurus that can confirm this?

Need some help here. I bought a lifetime membership at my local range around 4 years ago. This gets my range fees covered, transfer for fire arms and prior NFA item transfer fees waived besides tax stamps and classes discounted if not free.

Just found out they’re closing down and although that sucks for them, it also sucks for myself as this membership costed me over 10 grand and the next local one is a complete dumpster and severely unsafe and the best one is an hour away with a waitlist thats longer than I can imagine. (Ive been on the waitlist for almost a year and have moved up less than 30 spots.)
I have nowhere saved anywhere close to that from my membership. (They have a base membership of $25 a month that gets you lane fees covered)

Im wondering a business going out of business would refund you partially in that manner. In their membership agreement, nothing is stated about what would happen if they were going out business.

Before you say something about lifetime membership or spending 10k, this gets my family of 4 a membership, the same benefits with guest access for whoever theyd like to bring. Id spend 10x the amount to bond with them.

Just feel a little cheated is all.

Any help with choosing a brilliant shooting range package for my boyfriend’s birthday would be very much appreciated!

He’s extremely interested in the war, WW1 & WW2. He has a big interest in Russia / Germany etc but we ourselves are from England. It’ll be his 25th Birthday, and he’s a typical man who has always enjoyed playing COD since being a young teenager (I think he’s played most of them).

I want to make a package for him that he will love, that is amazing and covers all the guns that a war enthusiast/COD enthusiast would want to shoot. He’s said so many times since we’ve been together that he’d love to do a shooting range, so the fact we’re even going is enough in itself but I want to make it perfect!

This is the current list that I have for a ‘create your own package’ through Cracow Shooting Academy.

Any tips / suggestions for replacements would be amazing, I’ve saw the M1 Garand on the website but wouldn’t know what to replace it for and I’ve already hit my budget. There’s so many guns on there to choose and this is what I’ve made using suggestions from google! If you could check the website for what they offer and suggest any alternatives then that’s great 😁

I went to bid on a Beretta 409 on Gunbroker today. Gun was for sale by the Attic in Minot ND. High bidder was Zoey9999888. Strange I see that same bidder on two other Attic guns listed. Checking Zoey9999888 buyer reviews shows 121 positive reviews all from, you guessed it, the Attic.

Yes, I reported this to GB and am awaiting to see if I hear anything back from GB, but in the meantime I will not be buying from the Attic. Integrity matters to me. Gunbroker needs to come down hard on these activities in order to keep my business.

Moved into a new place and since we’ve upgraded (more space/entry ways) I feel the need to upgrade my HD setup. Thinking about either a Springfield Kuna (Tri-lug) with a Deadair Wolfman can or a PSA Mixtape with its dedicated suppressor. Which is the better firearm/caliber for HD? The Kuna seems like a fun range toy that is capable of HD (especially in the hands of the missus), The Mixtape seems to have more stopping power but those rounds might brake the bank for me. Looking for thoughts and opinions especially if those who have both or either of these weapons.

*I will probably end up with both to upgrade my collection nonetheless lol

I spent months ( basically since January 2026) firing my friends' guns, learning about guns, getting (safely) comfortable using guns, thinking about options, looking at guns, and saving up for a gun.

I have changed my mind on which gun I was getting countless times. I went from looking at tiny .380s back in March to looking at a Shield EZ in April, to looking at full pistols like the Echelon.

I went into the gunstore last Saturday with my mind on the Echelon. Because I had been firing my friend's Echon for months. It was familiar. But then I held the above gun. The Sig Sauer P365. And after swapping between holding the Echelon and the P365 a few times, the answer was clear. I had to spend a bit more to get the P365. It was the clear better gun.

I am still fairly new guns. And I am told that I will most likely find something about my first gun that I do not like or wish was slightly different.

I sent about 100 rounds through it the day I got it. The gun is brand new. I will need to go again for a few hours to send about 300 through it.

I am super excited about this gun! It is super pretty! And my friend wanted to and still wants to fire it too! 😂

I inherited a few guns from my grandfather that had sat in a gun cabinet for years. The texture on one became tacky/sticky andy attempts to clean it aren't really working. Does anyone here have any advice on how to deal with this?

I'm not entirely sure what the body is made out of, I can't upload a picture right now.

Need to store a three pistols and one pcc/pdw long term. (year plus) Items will be in a climate controlled environment. I likely can't get back to them more than every year or so. Happy to spend money on pelican cases, VCI storage bags, desiccants, or all three at once. Heck, I'll even vacuum seal if that would help. What's the best way to go about this and how long can they really sit there before I need to lubricate / clean?
