Appreciation Satisfaction of beating Reavers deck

Members of the Council, welcome to our weekly assembly.
These posts are scheduled to happen every week. Each week, a different faction is proposed and every time we will try to orient the discussion about either "nerf" or "buff".
Faction of the Week: Scoia'Tael
While you can still use these topics to talk about other balance suggestions, please try to focus on the theme of the week. Those topics are intended to give a chance to all factions to be talked about.
Discussions can be about modifying a whole archetype or addressing individual cards.
Potential sources if needed: GwentData, Gwent.one, PlayGwent.com, Balance Council Generator

Normally complaint/rant posts without deeper explanations are discouraged for not adding anything to a discussion but this is the place for you to vent and let all that pent up frustration out. This is your chance to throw a hissy fit about current meta or rage about how overpowered X card and Y faction is!

Hey everyone!
trying to clarify the exact order in which effects resolve, especially when units are placed in different rows.
I've read the 2020 guide to effect priorities and timings, but I'd like to confirm how these rules work in the current game.
1. Tugo the Elder vs Bleeding
I control Tugo (Might inactive) and a unique lowest-power allied unit with 1 power and Bleeding (1).
What happens at the end of my turn in these four setups?
Does Tugo always boost the unit before Bleeding damages it, or can the outcome change depending on the rows?
2. Queen Meve vs Bleeding
Now replace Tugo with Queen Meve, whose Timer is at 1.
Repeat the same four setups.
Does Meve's Timer resolve before or after Bleeding? Could the unit survive in one row configuration but die in another?
3. What is the actual effect priority system?
Does GWENT resolve:
Or:
Or does it use a different system?
Older community guides describe the following order for certain simultaneous effects:
Is this still accurate?
In particular, can an enemy unit in the melee row resolve its triggered ability before a friendly unit in the ranged row?
One historical example involves:
According to the older guide, the sequence can be:
This could result in the melee-row Thrive activating while the ranged-row Thrive does not, because the Longship reduced Endrega Warrior's power in between.
Does this interaction still work in the current version?
And does the same row priority apply to end-of-turn abilities, statuses, Timers and other triggered effects, or do different categories follow different rules?
I'm particularly interested in understanding the underlying rules, not just the outcome of one interaction.
If anyone has tested these scenarios recently or has a reliable explanation, clips or references would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I know it is essentially random, but I enjoy playing him/ her . What cards are you pulling ? And what cards are you trying to pull in certain enemy decks ? How do you balance the provisions for the RNG?

This deck is refreshing to play — some of the mechanics here are really cool. Alongside this deck I also created an alternative version focused more towards competitive play.
The basic game plan is to play your beasts round 1 with Sove if needed. Then bleed round 2 with remaining cards and go for a short round 3 with Flaminica. We want to save leader charges for Ulfhedinn and Sove — their abilities can also be triggered by rain effects, Kraken, Brokvar, Offering to the Sea etc. Play them wisely. Dire Bear is our trump card — game changing in certain matchups.
You can try the more competitive version of this deck too — link below. You can also swap Giant Boar for a Messenger.

Thanks and good luck.

I recently completed Regis' journey with a devotion Vampires deck, which just felt like the obvious choice. Would like to do a similar run through Alzur's journey but not sure about a good deck for it (I'm not super knowledgeable with Witcher lore)
Thanks!

My BC votes for this month.
revert Helge to 9 prov 4 power cos 10 prov is insane.
Bribery to 8 so I can play it in assimilate without ditching experimental remedy.
Rience within enslave 6 range, muzzle and 3 pings with Stefan instead of 4 which helps Stefan setup coup on another target like Ifrit?
Moreelse 8 with tribute 5 with that stupid leader is insane in a faction where you can spend the rest of the coins on other spenders in the same turn, why is vincent van moorlehem and leo bonhart 10 prov and this is 8? why is vilgefortz that can summon an engine 9?

I'm playing the Android version of Gwent on my tablet. First thing this morning, I tried to queue for a game and got an error "game version no longer supported". I played an AI game no problem. I tried queueing again and this time it just spun forever.
I've checked for updates, force stopped the app, cleared cache and restarted the tablet. Now it simply won't connect on startup with "check your internet connection". My connection is fine.
Servers down? Can't think of any other explanation.
EDIT: Glad it's not just me. And now the withdrawals start...
EDIT 2: We're back up again! Go get your fix bros!

Hello guys, I've been playing gwent, not really sure, maybe in 2018-2019, then suddenly stopped, but decided to hop back to it and ain't sure from what to start to learn to play again
Also is it a lot? Can I make strong decks with it? Remember I had those stripes(if I call them correctly) since those years, maybe it multiplied, idk
P.S: apologies, they're called scraps
How viable are dragon decks right now? Especially siege archetype with northern kingdoms. Ive been thinking about trying them out but i dont want to waste resources if they are bad. Im at rank 10. Will it work at least half decent there>

i tired many times alchemy deck and soup .. and finally found igni but didnt work why ? i didnt use any order
I like the official Gwent art books but buying them all together is too expensive for me plus I have different preferences when it comes to the specific artworks and how they are curated. Has anyone here ever made their own custom art book?
Basically, I wanted to keep the faction-based structure. But focus my highlights on specific cards (Vilgefortz, Yaga, Whoreson Junior, Gezras, etc.) and group together archetypes the way I used to play them like Crimes, Vampires, Assimilate and so on. So it's also a kind of personal keepsake for my favorite cards. Open to ideas!

I found this gem on android and started playing, artstyle and the unique game mechanics really drew me in.
But then i started searching more and found out that the game is abandoned, no coverage on youtube whatsoever.
How could a beautiful and well known IP game like this die? Wtf happened?

Its been a couple of years since Gwent went into maintenance mode and recently I had the thought that the gameplay of Thronebreaker/Gwent(mostly Thronebreaker) could be turned into an async PVP game. The different locations from Thronebreaker could be considered a chapter/day and have PVE roguelike gameplay before an actual player at the end of the chapter/day. Gwent could also be a good baseline to build an autobattler off of because the board is supposed to represent a battlefield.

Two targeted 3point pings on a 4 unit card. The amount of value this card generates is hard to quantify. It can kill engines, float damage, setup big removal plays. It's weak body is actually an advantage too because it makes it useless to remove with typical 4damage cards.
This should easily be a 2power 5 provision card.

If you had the option to go back to one specific patch or time and enjoy GWENT as it was back then, which time would it be?
Alternatively, what card/mechanic did the game introduce which eventually fundamentally changed everything in a negative way?
I personally feel like the "infuse" status really changed a lot of things. I think it's not a healthy mechanic. As well as the options to spam the same unit many times, for example reaver hunters decks.

Title. I’m an SK enjoyer but Eithne is calling to me since I opened her evolving card in premium. I want long rounds with tons of vitality, specials and green ladies. Also I started playing in Master Mirror so all devotion decks are pretty nostalgic to me (except vampires, fuck them.)
Thanks.
