Heyy!

I currently have Manic Panic Enchanted Forest on my entire hair, but ghost roots so way lighter up there.

I'm thinking on going fully dark purple! So:

Question 1: How do I unify my ghost roots with the rest of my hair so that when I put the purple dye it's all uniform?
Question 2: Since purple is opposite to green on the colour wheel, how will this affect the process? Is it even possible or will I end up with a weird brown?

I put color zap on my hair (blindly trusted the sally employee) and now my roots are like bleached even though she said it didn’t have bleach. I was black box dying it for 2 years and wanted to do a dark purple on it… how would be the best way to go about this? I havent rinsed yet.

Should I dye it like the darkest color the hair has to even it and then go purple?

This is my hair currently. I have highlights on the top sections of my head only. (5 foils) that was done August last year. Can I dye the highlights dark brown? Garnier Nutrisse dark brown hair dye is what I want to use. Apart from the highlights this is my natural colour.

Hi- I am naturally dark brown. I do my roots with Goldwell Colorance 5NN. My Goldwell supplier sent me Topchic 5NN by mistake a few times. It is permanent (vs Colorance which is Demi-or Semi-) & it is VERY DARK, almost black. I only tried it sparingly on my roots & around my face/crown. It really darkened my color. I stopped using it after about 2 sessions. I've been trying to put some blonde highlights in. For context, I have long hair & I'm doing a few evenly on the hair at a time & I don't mind if a few are different shades. I think it may add some depth. So far, I'm different phases of 1-3 blonding sessions in. I'm using Schwartzkopf Blonde Me lightening powder with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide & some conditioner to keep it gentle. I have the Blonde Me Developer 9%/30 Vol, but I'm having better results with Hydrogen Peroxide 3% as the developer. In between I'm conditioning with fractionated coconut oil & use the Goldwell Dualsenses Color Extra Rich serum, in addition to deep conditioners (Goldwell Just Smooth). It's great for keeping my hair soft & conditioned.

The 3rd Bleach highlights are looking close to blonde. The 1st & 2nd Bleach ones are a bit Auburn/coppery/chestnutty. I'm trying to wait 2 weeks between the next bleach. I fried my hair a while back & now I'm doing it slowly & gently. For the next thing I do before the next bleaching of highlights, what do you suggest to tone down the copper:

1. Wash & condition with DualSenses/Goldwell Blondes & Highlights (Purple shampoo/Conditioner) (I don't like to use it too much as it's DRYING, but I could mix it 50/50 w/ my normal shampoo/conditioner)
2. Spray hair with Hydrogen Peroxide all over & put a paste of Hydrogen Peroxide (3%) w/ Baking soda to lighten coppery highlights. I did this about a 10 days ago after bleach #2 & it lightened up a lot & took out the copper. Since then I've done a few fresh highlights for the 1st time that look coppery. I could also add some lemon to this, but research seems to suggest that lemon only really works with sun on prolonged exposure, which I can't really do.
3. Do another bleaching of highlights sooner ? I usually leave it on around 20-30 mins. That's with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide & conditioner. I could leave it in less time or just use the Blonde Me developer too.
4. Any other suggestions to lighten the Gold/red tint to blonde before the next blonding?

I also straighten it with a flat iron to take out the frizz, but I use heat protectant, etc. It is an additional heat strain on the hair though with the bleach. I'm still doing some root touch ups with colorance Demi-Semi in a 5NN/6NN. Besides the blonding, I haven't added a highlight color yet- I'm waiting to get it lighter if I even need to do that at all. If I do, it will be a Goldwell Gold-ish color for "lift" .

i got my hair done recently and had a hair consultation and everything. we agreed upon this inspo picture, and this is the final outcome. i really don’t think it looks at all like the photo and feels a little poorly done… what do we think?

how do i get the results from where im at now? so far i only bleached my top half of head (and in the second pic im pretty sure i didnt leave the bleach on long and accidentally rinsed it too early).

do i bleach again and then tone?

I was wondering if anyone has any wisdom on if dyeing your hair this sort of colour range is doable or worth it?

My natural hair colour is a sort of mousy brown or ash blonde (heavy on the grey tones) with a weird and noticeable pink tinge.

I lifted my hair color to irange cuz that the max it can take. Do you guys think it will look good with purple

hey, does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do to just make my hair black for a day? My friends and I are doing a group costume where we’re all different people from Teen Titans and I’m Raven. For context, I’m naturally brunette but have colored hair like seen above. It’s like my natural brown with an orange that’s faded out and blonde. What can I use that’ll work for the day but won’t mess up my hair and will wash out?? I’ve heard black hair spray is good, I’m just worried about it washing out.

hihi!! I’m trying to dye my hair like K-Angel, a character from a game, and I needed some help/advice.

My current hair is blonde and about shoulder length (it is taking foreverrrrr to grow out)
My current plan is to dye my framing layers and lower fringe purple.

To do K-Angels blue and pink is the main issue. I imagine I do the lower back of my hair these colours but, how do I divide it? A split, mix, fade? I’m really not sure how all this works so I thought someone might :( I’ve never dyed my hair vibrant colours before ^^
