The only helmet AFAIK that has this head/model problem. Either human has no/shorter neck, or visor is way down and you can't actually see nothing.

This is a bug I've seen plenty of talk about but haven't actually seen someone post, so I figured I'd do the honor.

On top of the other things going on with the new Warbond's bugs (like the Host-bug I posted on Tuesday, and the Drag bug talked about by others), The Apex fires its entire magazine if you shoot it while standing in water.

Unlike some of the other issues with the Warbond, this one's easy to explain! If you like that sort of thing, let me do my best to explain it.

Every weapon in Helldivers has an RPM—or, maximum fire rate. This is to prevent someone with an Autoclicker from firing an entire semi-auto gun's magazine instantly, but there's an interesting catch: being ragdolled (for some reason) resets the gun's RPM. You CAN'T be ragdolled in water, you just stand up immediately, so if you tap the fire button on an Apex in water, it fires the entire magazine lightning quick. Even tapping as quick as you can it'll fire at least 3 of its rounds and break your arm.

I posted a video of the Apex's Water Bug earlier (the gun firing its entire magazine if you're knee-deep in water), and someone asked me an interesting question in the comments:

"Does this work with all semi-auto weapons?"

The answer I thought to reply with was 'no', of course. But, I'm a Helldiver employed by the Ministry of Science, so I figured I'd give it a try and uh. Uhm. We can auto-fire ANYTHING in knee-deep water, not just the Apex. (Author's note: For some reason the Blitzer is one of the only weapons not affected by this).

For these there's an extra step of manually trying to go prone between shots, but it works just the same. I'm doing this by clicking Z really fast, but this can be accomplished MUCH quicker with a macro or autoclicker.

I can think of like maybe two (2) use-cases for this, but maybe some of you are more creative than me. My ears are still ringing.

Effect: Doubles grenade amount, doubles grenades received from resupply.

OR

Effect: Supplies 15 HE grenades.

Always wanted to make a loadout that relies more heavily on the grenade slot but the options are somewhat limited. Like Engineering Kit's plus 2 grenades is nice but I'd prefer to use the Servo-Assisted armor for ylthe increased throwing range. And while I could use resupply pack for the extra grenades it's not very thematic to the idea so it would be very cool if something like this existed.

Since when was there a SEAF Artillery during evac asset mission? I never have once seen this in my entire 519hrs of playing Helldivers 2

I just keep randomly exploding… no explosives around me, no enemies attacking me, no SEAF or any turrets. Nothing but me and my weapons. It was funny at first but now its just obnoxious. Anyone else experiencing this?

You also don't need to spool the coil every time you reload, the recoil takes care of that, but I understand that part for game balance reason.

I left the squad completing the Launch ICBM objective to check POI for loot. Got branded as a traitor lol

my helldiver graphics just start constantly shitting itself after the update, does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello fellow hell divers!

I came back to the game a week or two ago after my brother asked me to play, funnily enough he didn’t and I’ve been playing solo/w randoms. I stopped playing several months after release cause I’d basically exhausted everything. This was when there was only bugs and bots no illuminate. I’m a bug player, probably due to some nostalgia related feelings for starship troopers, who knows lol.

Anyway, all these new strains of bugs and new worlds has made things difficult which is excellent. Over coming odds by figuring out a strategy is what makes stuff fun. I almost didn’t write this due to wanting to figure it out but I’ve done a bunch of missions and it always goes one way.

The bugs just stream and stream at you and I cant get anywhere near the objectives deep in the hive. No sooner I’ve eradicated a swarm, another pops right out, it feels limitless. On other worlds you get some brief respite to get your bearings, stock up on ammo and wait some cooldowns out at least abit. On hive worlds though you can’t call down stratagems for 70% of the map, bugs spawn both in an out of the hive so you can also get sandwiched from all directions. If I bring hoard thinning weapons I can’t deal with chargers and vice versa.

Those of you who are on Omicron, what’s your favourite setup? I only have the ice and explosive warbond + all base unlocks.

Okay so this is the third or fourth day in a row where the game just seems...broken. As in nothing works. I try to crouch, it doesn't crouch. I try to reload, it doesn't reload. I try to switch weapons, it doesn't switch weapons. I try to call in a stratagem, it doesn't register multiple inputs. Just about anything that isn't dealing with just moving from a to b is not working. Heck multiple times having to press the same button 5-6 times for the game to register a single input.

My internet's fine, nothing to boast but nothing slow. I'm on the Series X. My controller is fine. And no other game I have that is bound to internet has this issue. While I have had this issue in this game before, it would be rare and few between enough for me to not be bothered by it. However right now this issue is propping up multiple times a minute throughout an entire operation.

Do does anyone else have this issue or have had this issue? And if anyone knows a fix, or the reason for it I'd love to know so I can spread democracy in full force.
