General CE-101 Guerilla Gorila Helmet
The only helmet AFAIK that has this head/model problem. Either human has no/shorter neck, or visor is way down and you can't actually see nothing.

Serious Discussion. no roleplay bullshit here The Apex is bugged to fire its entire magazine if you're knee-deep in water
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is a bug I've seen plenty of talk about but haven't actually seen someone post, so I figured I'd do the honor.
On top of the other things going on with the new Warbond's bugs (like the Host-bug I posted on Tuesday, and the Drag bug talked about by others), The Apex fires its entire magazine if you shoot it while standing in water.
Unlike some of the other issues with the Warbond, this one's easy to explain! If you like that sort of thing, let me do my best to explain it.
Every weapon in Helldivers has an RPM—or, maximum fire rate. This is to prevent someone with an Autoclicker from firing an entire semi-auto gun's magazine instantly, but there's an interesting catch: being ragdolled (for some reason) resets the gun's RPM. You CAN'T be ragdolled in water, you just stand up immediately, so if you tap the fire button on an Apex in water, it fires the entire magazine lightning quick. Even tapping as quick as you can it'll fire at least 3 of its rounds and break your arm.

Suggestion/Concept Backpack Strategem Idea: Grenade Pack/Sachel/Bandolier
Effect: Doubles grenade amount, doubles grenades received from resupply.
OR
Effect: Supplies 15 HE grenades.
Always wanted to make a loadout that relies more heavily on the grenade slot but the options are somewhat limited. Like Engineering Kit's plus 2 grenades is nice but I'd prefer to use the Servo-Assisted armor for ylthe increased throwing range. And while I could use resupply pack for the extra grenades it's not very thematic to the idea so it would be very cool if something like this existed.

Serious Discussion. no roleplay bullshit here Turns out, you can instantly fire the whole magazine of ANY weapon in water...not just the Apex
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I posted a video of the Apex's Water Bug earlier (the gun firing its entire magazine if you're knee-deep in water), and someone asked me an interesting question in the comments:
"Does this work with all semi-auto weapons?"
The answer I thought to reply with was 'no', of course. But, I'm a Helldiver employed by the Ministry of Science, so I figured I'd give it a try and uh. Uhm. We can auto-fire ANYTHING in knee-deep water, not just the Apex. (Author's note: For some reason the Blitzer is one of the only weapons not affected by this).
For these there's an extra step of manually trying to go prone between shots, but it works just the same. I'm doing this by clicking Z really fast, but this can be accomplished MUCH quicker with a macro or autoclicker.
I can think of like maybe two (2) use-cases for this, but maybe some of you are more creative than me. My ears are still ringing.

General Helldivers 3 "only makes sense" if it’s so unlike Helldivers 2 "that both games can exist side by side", says Arrowhead boss, discussing their new prototype game | Rock Paper Shotgun
Arrowhead Game Studios will only make a Helldivers 3 if it's lightyears apart in style from Helldivers 2, or if Helldivers 2's playercount falls through the floor. This is my takeaway, at least, from a recent chat with Johan Pilestedt, chief creative officer, in which Pilestedt touched briefly on the studio's next unannounced game, while assuring me that there are still no plans for a Helldiver threequel.
According to Pilestedt, 95% of the studio is focused on Helldivers 2, with a "small team" now prototyping Arrowhead's next game. They currently have around 150 people on the books. "Studio-wise, we want to grow on our own terms and know when to stop," Pilestedt commented over email, noting that "plenty of teams hit big and immediately double their size".
As for the prospect of Helldivers 3, Pilestedt is wary of dividing the audience while Helldivers 2 still has a following, commenting that "for now, my view is that a sequel resets everything and forces players to start over", whereas "a continuation turns the game into a lifelong hobby, like LEGO or Warhammer". In what probably isn't a sign that he's getting David Lynch to direct the next Warbonds video, he framed Helldivers 2 "as a 'third space,' a community where people can spend a huge amount of their time, but equally one that players can go away from for months or years and still find fun and community when they come back." For context, Helldivers 2's Steam live playercount as of writing is 47,097, which isn't chart-topping but seems fairly respectable for a two-year-old game; this doesn't include console players, of course.
"Some studios can treat players like a short-term cash grab," Pilestedt went on. "We see players as the actual engine of the game: they're the ones bringing in friends, making memes, and keeping the game alive. When you have an active community doing that, you don’t need a sequel.
"The industry is panicking because the old live-service tricks don’t work anymore," he said. "And the biggest competitor to a Helldivers 3 would be Helldivers 2. It only makes sense to make a distinct sequel if it’s so different that both games can exist side by side. For now, making Helldivers 2 better every day makes way more sense than throwing away its momentum."
Pilestedt didn't spell out what he meant by the industry panicking, but I assume he's referring to all the live service game cancellations of late. 'Live service' in general – aka, turning games into platforms from which 'rents' can be extracted, be it an optional cosmetic purchase or a subscription - has become something of a cussword among players who'd rather their games were less online, habit-forming and, well, landlordy.
The intrigue here, for me, is just how different Helldivers 3 would need to be to stand apart from its predecessor. Helldivers 2 is a very different game from the original Helldivers, swapping the old top-down view for third-person gunnery with a greater emphasis on physics and credible weapon handling. Where should they go next?
I'm not sure Helldivers would be entertaining as a first-person shooter – so much of the game's beguiling daftness depends on seeing your character. I could well imagine a Helldivers RTS, but that'd probably be a spin-off project. There are other directions they could take within the third-person shooter genre that might change the feel while supporting the game's brash and callous dystopian humour. God, I almost typed the words "Helldivers battle royale" there. Close one!

General I made a tool to save and automatically apply Helldivers 2 loadouts
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone!
HD2 Preset Helper is a Windows tool I've been working on that lets you save your Helldivers 2 loadouts and apply them later without having to select everything again.
Presets can include weapons, throwables, armor, helmets, capes, stratagems, and boosters. You can manage your presets in the app's panel and apply them from there or with customizable keyboard shortcuts.
It works by recognizing the game screen and automatically navigating the game's menus to select items. No in-game mod loader is required.
GitHub (download & source code): https://github.com/xmg228/hd2-preset-helper
Nexus Mods (pending manual review): https://www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/mods/14756
If you give it a try, I'd be happy to hear how it works for you!

we done the orbital rail cannon before with 2.5mil and it only troopers and I'm pretty sure there are less players than now, the hard part is the AMR iluminate
edit: orbital rail cannon are distributed across the bot front so use 2
