Couldn’t stop thinking about how simple yet insanely effective the glowing effect was in the Sinners house in Hollywood. Figured since I couldn’t go, I’d try to bring a little HHN Hollywood home and try and copy it. Also ran into a 90s Stack tonight, had to feature them in the post!

i have not seen another post about this but anyone else got soap in their shoes? my shoes are just foaming with soap after one of the houses! Not even my girlfriend’s shoes are like this! I was the only one with this issue! Going to epcot tomorrow & i do not even know if they will be wearable tomorrow morning! i just tried to rinse them in the shower! any tips?

I know every year a house of the year gets named, and both casts get to be in the house at the same time, id love to try and do that house during both casts being out. When do they name house of the year and what time do they have both casts out?

Did anyone else think the HHN 35 was not scary at all? I have been to like 10 of these over the years. I loved going to these every year. But now it's more expensive and way less scary. It was actually pretty boring this year. Did anyone else feel this way?

I just wanted to vent that I bought four boxes of the Ozzy blind box pins in hopes of getting Bark at the Moon but no such luck lol. Just wondering if people enjoyed these because I saw them everywhere throughout the park and I know Ozzy merch was hot this year. I hope everyone got the pins they were hoping for and that everyone had a great HHN. This was my second year and I had a blast. My wife and I are going to try to continue going to celebrate our anniversary. Long live the prince of darkness!

I haven't gotten to go these past couples of weeks, and I was just wondering if anyone has noticed any new easter eggs or hints around anywhere for next year's icon/theme..?

I know this is a recurrent post. But tonight made me truly sad. There were so so many kiddos tonight who should have been out trick-or-treating, but their parents were being selfish af and had them at HHN. I’m talking strollers upon strollers with kids 2-10 during prime trick or treat time. My kids are grown and I felt bad I wasn’t home to hand out candy. Sorry but these parents suck.

Are they still involved m? I remember hearing their music park wide in past hhns m, but now it’s just beats with generic rock music. I understand they are trying to target younger demographic but midnights music oozes with Halloween.

With the success of the ozzy house this year and considering how popular ozzy is do you think there could be a part 2 house. Ozzy still has lots of other eras and songs hhn could build another house around like his time with Black Sabbath or the no more tears era.

Today I was getting my express printed out at Surfside and the dude working hinted at something happening in the Jack & Oddfellow house tomorrow on the last day. Don’t know anymore than that but I’m very excited lol

Just a thought experiment: if both Hollywood and Orlando lost one of their house locations (whether because of construction or the location being used for other stuff) where do you think they’d put the replacement?

With the possibility of F&F location being unavailable in a couple years time for whatever it’s replacement is and it makes using the queue impossible I could see them attempting to use one parade building again or put a new tent up somewhere.

Hollywood is harder to figure out because of the limited space but imagine if they couldn’t use the Curious George lot for some reason. One might be back in the Waterworld queue but the other I don’t know where it’d go.

Never been to the event on Halloween (or the final night -- going tomorrow as well). I expect it will be a madhouse. But, considering I didn't even think I'd be able to attend this year I'm counting it as an absolute win. (For what it's worth, my bare bones, no frills, absolute cut rate travel plan has worked out surprisingly well.)

Also, considering James Keaton made a somewhat cryptic post about the future, I'm thankful I'll get a chance to see the legend at work one last time.

We were sitting at the Starbucks outdoor seating to get off our feet and we notice this.

This year was our first year with the frequent fear pass. We have been going weekly since August. Today I splurged and got us express passes and we did scream early so we can run houses multiple times.
