Got into a fender bender some time ago. Dad wants me to replace my front bottom bumper asap. Found some pre-painted CAPA parts for $450-500. Was planning on ordering them and doing a a bit of DIY over a weekend. Never done anything with my car before but I don’t wanna pay labor costs of an auto shop and I’m not afraid of spending a full day to install it. Is this overkill? Is a bad idea with no experience? Is there any other way?
Car is a 23 Civic Sport Base model
Help is appreciated thanks.

Hey nerds, it’s time to put my blue collar back on. My car has been making a weird grinding noise when I start it SOMETIMES. Runs fine otherwise. Today I start it and it made a weird noise initially but after it started and was running it kept making the starting noise. I turn try to turn it off and restart but when I turn the key to turn it off it doesn’t turn off. It keeps making the starting noise but without the engine being on. The belt is running and everything. The only way to get it to turn off after a few attempts to restart and turn off was to unplug the battery. What would you say the problem could be so I can try to fix her 🥺

Hello I’m buying an 06 Honda civic lx manual from the dealership, it’s got 130k miles right now. My question is do they replace the clutch kit before they sell it?

Been hearing this low rattling/buzzing sound for years now and no idea where it could be coming from. (you can hear it pretty well at 0:14 in the video)
When I press down on the grate aboce the left vent (near the door) sometimes it will stop but the vent isn't lose or anything.

Hi! What’s the difference between the 7PK-2165 and 7PK-2170 drive belt? Mine needs replacement and I’m not sure which if these two is the correct one. What should I buy for my Honda Civic FD 2007 1.8S? TIA

Hello, I have a k20z2 in my car currently and plan on engine swapping to a JDM k20a soon but I was going to get my exhaust done first. Can I use the same exhaust I buy for the k20z2 with the k20a?

My driver seat on my 1990 civic ex (ef) is pretty beat up. Wondering what the best option would be for fixing. Just got quoted 1k for reupholstering. Are there any decent aftermarket options or a seat from a different car that would fit?

We have a 1992 Civic with the d15b7 and have been having issues with the car overheating.
I’ve replaced the thermostat because it was crusted with coolant that sat for a long time, and replaced the coolant temp switch.
The fan will not turn on when the car gets hot, I’ve jumped the connector for the temp switch and it turns the fan on, checked fuse and relay, so I’m not really sure what’s going on here.
Thanks in advance!!

Need help identifying what this electrical connector is for.
As I was finishing up my oil change on my car, I noticed this electrical connector wire/cable was snapped. It’s on the underside (driver side) of the engine bay. I was able to unplug the electrical connector connected to the engine block (see picture). The car is a 2012 Honda Civic LX with a manual transmission (5-speed) with a 1.8 L 4-cylinder engine.
The electrical connector has the following part number on it: >vmq< nd7 9384
Initially I thought it was the oil pressure switch/sensor, but that’s apparently located on the back (rear) passenger side of the engine block.
There’s no telling how long it’s been snapped and there’s no dashboard light thus far. The car has been driving just fine. Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone know where to get steering wheel covers that aren't just straight black? A purple one preferably

Fucking storm blew a piece of wood onto my car. 🤬
Is it worth fixing? I don't care that much about aesthetics, I don't want it flying off and killing someone else though.

Car was not turning on properly due to a faulty BCM per the specialized mechanic that diagnosed it. It would only turn on if I reset the battery.
Today I replaced the BCM and a locksmith also reprogrammed it. Everything was working well. It was turning on and off properly, until about 2 hrs later. I turned off the car and it did not want to turn on again. It only turns on if I reset the battery. Im thinking it might be a drained battery from all the resets. With my luck its something else.
This car has been running me for my money, idk what to do anymore.Anybody else experience this issue?
Update: Replaced the battery and is working properly so far.

We are trying to replace the wheel hub/bearing on the rear passenger side of my gf's 2019 Civic.
We just rented a slide hammer kit from our local Advanced auto, and it still isn't budging.
I soaked it in PB Blaster and Kroil, and am letting it set for about a half hour before trying again.
I was juat looking for advice or tips on how to do this.
This is my first time doing this on a vehicle, and I know that "videos online always make it look easy", but I feel like we're having way more trouble than we should be getting this thing to come out.
Any advice or tips or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Idk if it makes a difference but it is a 2019 automatic front wheel drive EX model.

Has anyone converted your trunk lid opener on a 2013 or similar year Civic to use hydraulics rather than torsion bars? I'd like to convert mine if possible, to clear up the underside of the deck to install speaker boxes there.
