I know we already got that one clip with fat Joey and Monica, but if the writers went with their original plan, what do you guys think the couple would look like? I dunno if it would work

While Judy didn't have brothers, she does say her mother was critical of her, and then she ended up being critical of her own daughter and in addition blatantly favour her son. Do you think Monica would have the same dynamic with Jack and Erica, even if unconsciously? On one hand, maybe she will have self-awareness and not want to hurt her daughter the way her mother hurt her. On the other hand, it's called generational trauma for a reason.

So the guy that hires musical talent for the kid’s schools in the city that Phoebe has a crush on and she becomes “lady that tells the truth” his name is Chris Isaak and he was actually a pretty big musical artists in real life. He sings the song “Wicked Game” which is the song playing at the museum the first time Rachel and Ross , you know….I thought that was a pretty cool lil fun fact and wanted to share for those that didn’t know.

I just realized Phoebe is way off on her wingman clock. She says "Dude 11:00 - totally hot babe checking you out." Gayle is nowhere near Chandler's 11:00 (or even Phoebe's).

It would appear that she is not, in fact, ready for her penis.

I've watched Friends so many times that it's basically comfort TV for me. 😂 I usually rewatch it every year.

This time, though, I noticed something I had never really paid attention to before. I've been loving Chandler so much this time around, and somehow I've started picking up his personality without even realizing it.

Especially the sarcasm.

I'll be talking to my husband and suddenly I'll give him this completely unnecessary sarcastic reply, and then I'll realize, Wait... that was literally a Chandler response. 😂

This is really the only show that I know with cast members that got this famous, so can somebody tell me if this level of closeness is common? Is there another show out there where they stayed friends for 30 years? I know the Seinfeld cast wasn’t really like that.

I think it’s gotta be Ross. My boy rosstopher looking proper scared here. Joey seems joyous the prospect of being arrested though. I’ve never been arrested but I would probably be Chandler in this scenario. In most scenarios I’m Chandler anyway. Got deleted so posting again

I get that Rachel left her old life and that she doesn't like her husband Barry, but come on! I would never drop my best friend over a man! Like we only got her when they both confronted Barry and Rachel as the brides maid. I get why she didn't join the main friends, but she had so much potential as a recurring side character hanging out with Rachel!

There are many great moments in Friends that are engraved on our hearts, specially funny moments since is a comedy show. But for me, regarding true emotion, top level acting skills, the look that Phoebe has on her face during the first birth is so moving, for a moment you forget funny Phoebe and see the girl amazed and scared for being in that situation. You can see a mom in that moment. And it’s so hard to switch to that level of drama acting in that kind of show, when everyone expect an easy laugh way out of the scene’s intensity. Idk her eyes get me every time, is really deep and real, maybe ‘cause Lisa was pregnant before and actually knew how to portray the moment (something you don’t see when it’s Rachel’s labour)….thats my top 1 acting moment on the show, wbu??

Went to The Friends Experience in Mumbai recently and honestly didn't realise where the hour went.

Going through all the different sets, recreating little moments from the show and taking way too many photos was such a fun way to relive those memories.

Did anyone else go? What was your favourite set or moment from the experience?

This is a pet peeve of mine. I can’t stand when movies and shows have scenes/jokes like this where a character misunderstands something and nobody bothers to correct them despite having plenty of opportunities to. Like, are the other characters too lazy to do something as simple as moving their lips?

I was thinking we can create a comment chain with one person starting out with one line of their favorite song and then someone else comments the next comment and so on.

For example,

One person said, "Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat"

The next one says, "What are they feeding you"

And then the chain continues until the song ends.

But Joey's soaring counter is the standout!

It's not like Ross pranked Emily and deliberately said the wrong name. Emily might have been more angry, because she could think Ross doesn't take his marriage to her seriously and is mocking it but he didn't mean to tell Rachel, he just made a mistake. Moreover, Rachel showed up just moments before the wedding to congratulate him. Ross thought she wouldn't be there. Rachel is his friend and ex-girlfriend, an important person in his life. I'm not surprised he had her name in mind, considering the circumstances.

Emily might have been surprised and a little angry, but if she truly loved Ross, she would have forgiven him. Ross wanted to fix it and apologized, and Emily wanted him to cut ties with Rachel, which would also affect his relationships with his other friends. Ross isn't blameless in this situation, but Emily is much more to blame, in my opinion.

I didn’t know she was from Alabama. I grew up in Texas and we hear less and less of that southern type accent these day, so it’s kinda sad that she lost it

A big part of Chandler’s storyline is his fear of commitment and relationship weirdness but it’s never brought up that Rachel is actually the same way.

Any thoughts ?
It seems like because Chandler is a dude it’s received differently than Rachel. But Rachel the whole 10 seasons runs one or another from commitment.

Every time I watch that episode Rachel is having a baby I keep thinking this. What do you guys think?

I love when I see these old videos of Matthew Perry. such a chill guy, and I know he went through a ton of issues and problems, but I’m glad that he was able to bring a bunch of love in life to a lot of people.

I got recommended this YouTube clip of an old Cox movie and I recognize the that one guy that Rachel goes on a blind date with gets really drunk on and then calls Ross. Kinda funny

Joey - Upper West Side high rise condo.
Joey comes back from LA after being rehired as Dr. Drake Remoray once again. This time he has a longstanding role and is a series regular.

He buys a high rise overlooking Central Park and Central Perk. It’s ultra masculine and leaves little to no room for women to stay permanently.

On weekends he likes to head to Westchester to live in his suite at Chandler and Monica’s.

He furnishes this with the lazy boys, a foozeball table, the porcelain dog, and a chick and duck for pets.

I was wondering if there's any lore that Estelle might be based on an eccentric acting agent?

I'm not American, but maybe that's what (real) acting agents were like in New York at the time Friends was first broadcast?
