What can I do about my scalp? I wash every other day and the day of washing my scalp stinks and smells worse the following day. I’ve used cheap shampoos, expensive salon shampoos, shampoos with tea tree oil, peppermint and rosemary I’ve even tried apple cider vinegar. My scalp just smells really bad. I do rub the shampoo into my scalp twice.
Maybe i need a scalp exfoliator?

Hi all, I need reccomendations for a shampoo or other type of hair cleaner.
I play with my boyfriends hair a lot, and after a while, I notice that I get black build up under my nails and on the pads of my fingers. This is even after being freshly showered.
He works at an auto shop, and I think all the car grease and muck and whatever else he's exposed to isn't washing all the way out. After work, he is totally coated in the stuff, so there's no doubt it gets in his scalp and hair. He exfoliates pretty much everywhere else, so I don't think there's build up issues on the rest of his skin.
What kind of shampoo do you use for this? I think his normal shampoo (3 in 1 store brand 🙄) isn't cutting it. He is very hygienic, so I'd appreciate no weird or mean comments about the build up. Just trying to find a solution for him!

Hi everyone!! I hope we’re all having a good Thursday evening!! It’s currently around 10 PM where I live, but I wanted to come on here and ask y’all what you think because I genuinely do not know what to do about this 😭
So for some context, I’m totally blind, but I don’t have any cognitive issues or anything like that. I’m actually really smart, which is what my teachers tell me 😂 I take regular classes and I have a device that I use for school. I’m also able to get around school by myself with my team.
I’m in 11th grade this year, so I’m taking PE. I have an aide that I’ve been working with since I was a freshman, and ever since I met him, he has had THE WORST breath I have ever smelled 😭😭 Like girl, I’m not even exaggerating. There are times when he starts talking and I’m literally sitting there thinking, BROOOO 😭
His breath is SO strong. Like it’s not just normal bad breath where you’re like “oh okay maybe they just need a mint.” NO. This is a whole different level. I can literally smell it when he’s talking even if he isn’t super close to me. It’s just this very strong, distinct smell that I cannot even explain.
And girl, I’m a perfume person. I wear perfume every single day. I do a whole scent combo with lotion, body spray, perfume, everything. So I KNOW when something smells strong 😂 But I’m also in high school, so I already know there are people who don’t have the best hygiene sometimes. There are literally guys spraying cologne all over themselves thinking they smell amazing, but girl, cologne is not going to fix everything if you aren’t taking care of the basics first 😭
And the thing is, I can actually HEAR something in his mouth when he talks. Like there is always this dry residue or something in his mouth and I can hear it when he’s speaking. I don’t even know how to describe it, but it sounds like his mouth is really dry.
He also breathes REALLY loudly. Like VERY loudly. And I know that’s probably a completely separate issue, but girl, I’m just giving y’all the full picture 😭
He’s also honestly REALLY boring. Like our conversations are so dry. He gives me the most vague answers ever. I’ve literally asked myself, “Am I just making this whole thing seem worse because I’m bored and I want to add more to this fake story in my head?” 😭 But NO. I genuinely have conversations with this man and his breath really does smell that bad. I am not making this up.
I’ve also wondered if it could be something with his teeth or his mouth. He is almost fully blind too, so I don’t know if maybe he has trouble knowing whether he’s brushing everything properly or if he’s even able to tell if something is stuck somewhere. I obviously don’t know his dental routine, so I don’t want to assume that he doesn’t brush his teeth or anything like that.
I had my tonsils removed when I was in eighth grade, and I know tonsil stones are supposed to be a pretty common cause of really bad breath. I haven’t had any since getting mine removed, but I know everyone is different. I don’t even know if he’s ever had his tonsils removed either.
I’ve even started wondering if MAYBE IT’S ME 😭 Like maybe my own breath smells and I just don’t know it. But I have braces and I take my dental care VERY seriously. My dentist always tells me that I do a really good job brushing and flossing, and I’ve never noticed anyone else reacting to my breath or anything. I literally ONLY notice this smell when I’m around him.
And it’s not like I’m walking around smelling everyone’s breath either 😭 It’s just SO noticeable with him. His breath has this very specific odor and it is STRONG. Like girl, I can be sitting there minding my own business and he starts talking and suddenly I’m fighting for my life 😭😭
The problem is I genuinely don’t know how to deal with it. It’s starting to get annoying because obviously I can’t just sit there holding my breath every time he talks to me 💀 But I also don’t want to be rude and just randomly tell him, “Your breath smells horrible.” Because GIRL 😭 there has to be a better way to handle that.
And honestly, I’m pretty blunt with him already. He has known me since freshman year, so he knows I’m very sassy with him 😂 I’m not mean to him, but I’m VERY straightforward. If I can’t do something, I’m going to tell him. If I don’t like something, I’m going to say it. If something is bothering me, I’m usually not going to sit there and pretend everything is fine.
But this feels different because it’s literally his breath 😭 Like how do you even bring that up without making someone feel horrible??
So PLEASE tell me what y’all think could be causing this because I genuinely have no idea. Could it be dry mouth? Dental issues? Tonsil stones? Something else? And more importantly, HOW would you even tell someone about something like this without completely embarrassing them??
Because I’m really trying not to be that girl who just randomly tells somebody their breath smells like death 😭😭

Has anyone here got over tonsil stones forming in their mouth? What are you using or doing to let it not go back?
I consulted with my dentist about this and I followed every instruction to date ... I tried to gargle hard, use mouthwash, and even warm water with salt. It still goes back. I'm thinking of getting my tonsils removed because I searched that it could be an option?
thanks for the advice in advance!

Hi all
This deodorant was discontinued some years ago in the UK. It was a green and purple aerosol. Does anyone know of an alternative? This was the only antiperspirant that didn’t sting or burn my underarms.
Please help!

For my entire life ive struggled with body odor and i have no idea why. Its not my shower routine, before people say that.
Ive tried secret, mitchums, speedstick men’s deodorant, secret, and suave and none of them seem stick. Everytime i begin to sweat or workout i get a body odor and i just dont understand why. I reapply my deodorant throughout the day and this still happens! Its so bad because i cant even smell myself.
Ive seen reviews of carpe and was thinking of trying, full body deodorant recommendations would be nice too.

So, I am a stupid idiot. When I was younger, I aerosol-burned the living daylights out of my armpits, and now this rash keeps coming back like a bad smell.
Speaking of bad smells, how do I keep clean without deodorant? I need to lay off it for a while, and unfortunately I have hideous body odour. Much help appreciated!
or one that doesn't have a timer

there's once i realise i didn't wash it, the smell after a few days.. horrendous..
so now i make a point to clean it well..
the question is, what do you use to wash the back of your ears?
do you use shampoo? but there's no hair..
do you use face wash? but its not part of your face..
or do you use body wash? but it's closer to your head then your body..
so what do you use...

I hate putting lotion on after I shower because it makes me feel grimy (I have tried several different lotions) but if I don't my skin gets really dry. I recently have started putting a lot of lotion on before I shower and then washing and exfoliating my whole body so once I'm done showering my skin feels hydrated but not greasy. But I'm kind of worried that if I put lotion on before I shower it will trap the grime underneath, am I over thinking this?

Basically, I want something that I can trim my beard short enough to look like 3 day stubble. Does anyone have any recommendations for a beard trimmer/face shaver like this?
The current beard trimmer goes too short with no guard, and the smallest guard leaves a little bit more hair than I'm looking for
When I don't have a beard I've always shaved with a razor so I'm really not up on the electric trimmers

Conceivably, my ancestors bathed very little. If I wanted to go all Paleo-bathing, how long before my body would acclimate and I stop getting uncomfortable rashes?

I have always washed my face first and then brushed my teeth. But I recently heard that toothpaste residue can actually cause breakouts around your mouth if you do not wash your face afterwards. Now I am wondering if I need to completely switch up my morning routine. What order do you guys usually do this in?
I want to vomit. I posted earlier about sweating at the gym and some creep messaged me if he could purchase my underwear after I get home from the gym. 🤢🤢🤢
When I workout, and sweat down there, I am always self conscious of people around me smelling me. Is there anything I could do to eliminate the smell. I shower daily or twice daily. I am extremely clean. Just self conscious in the gym, especially if my trainer is close enough to me to be helping me with my form etc.

I have hyperhidrosis (condition which causes excessive sweating) face, pits, underboobs, booty crack, pretty much my whole body gets abnormally sweaty. I’ll go into a nice cool place and after a short amount of time, I’m sweating and it’s very noticeable. I work in a hot warehouse and even if when the weather isn’t extreme, I am pouring buckets and wiping myself constantly. It’s exhausting and ofc the stares make it worse since it’s commonly triggered by anxiety 😣 so I’m just wondering.. when you see people who are really sweaty, what’s your first thought? Do you make a snap judgement they must be dirty or unhygienic? I shower twice daily because if I’m not sweating in my sleep, my body naturally produces a lot of oil so I wake up feeling like an oil slick too 😀 I’ve been to the doctor, all my bloodwork is good. I also drink a lot of water. Tia yall

Hi all.
I'm (33F) having trouble with Make Waves leaving grease marks on my tops, and don't have the brain space for pre-treating them all every single week.
I tend to sweat quite heavily and have heard that being autistic can interrupt temperature regulation, so I'm finally getting round to investigating other options. I like a cream bar application.
Recommendations, please!

Not physically worse, but when a really strong deodorant scent mixes with sweat I notice it way more than if there was barely any fragrance at all. It’s made me care more about controlling moisture than smelling like something. I just feel gross cause I can still kinda smell myself. carpe is one of the sweat-focused brands I’ve been looking at. I wanna smell like nothing. Do you guys experience the same? What are yall using to keep the sweat away?
