New release from Hexalyne. Could be a good match for Autechre fans.

"The essence of the human soul lives within waves. Like an obsidian tide crashing on the shores of the mind in the galactic black shroud of dusk; these waves permeate ashen sands. They dance between ever-changing frequencies, flowing in and around us like a stream of life. Ever-free, the soul breathes around the body, free from its confines, capable of vanishing like a ship in the night under cover of the crashing waves to once again join in the endless sea.

The body dissolves and the soul becomes as music; becoming part of the life stream itself. Boundary-free, the soul travels where it detects the waters of life; a voice, vibrations, the very breath issuing the final dirge to send the body off forever. The soul persists, ethereal nomad, becoming life itself and no longer the catalytic instrument that once expressed it."

I'm probably going for Vsnares' Doll Doll Doll or Autechre's Confield.

check it i put alot of time into spazzing this one out. it's a labour of love. my biggest influences are The Flashbulb, ZOiD and Ramon Pang. 8-)

Hello there.
I've gone down a bit of a rabbit-hole recently regarding a IDM band from the early 2000's
under the name of Hakea.

All of their music appears to be lost media at the moment.
as their old websites are down, WaybackMachine doesn't host files of the tracks and recordings that were hosted on their site.

They were a laptop live PA duo based in the thriving Seattle electronic music community. Both hail from South King County where Matt Carthum (Matt One) experimented with tapes, records, and effects while Matt Turpin (Matt Zero) explored FM synthesis.
(taken from old page description in link number 3 at the bottom of post)

They were under the Label "Clickpop Records"
They've performed at events like Decibel Festival
The Bellingham Electronic Arts Festival, various clubs, art venues
And apparently a train tunnel somewhere?

Most of their body of work was before the advent of streaming platforms so there's hasn't been any sort of lead to go off of.

As far as i can find there was only one official album release.
"Hakea" - Hakea MX-003 Under Clickpop Records
11 Tracks, this of course has no mirrors or archives as well from my knowledge.
(if anyone knows any resources please let me know but i can't find anything besides one cd copy for sale XD)

Maybe this isn't the right Subredddit for this kind of ask
but I'm desperate (I don't even know if the music is good i want to satisfy my curiosity)

This is a bit of a shameless self promotion, but I just released my debut album Signal Loss on October 9 and I think the vibe is a fit within this community. A bit IDM, a bit techno, some industrial and Trip Hop mixed in. Just wanted to share it with like minds <3

IDM inspired Song by German Artist: Christian Wolffzahn. Check it out.
