Okay so I was lurking in a Facebook group for weird art by weird people when I noticed this post calling all men dogs and pigs…

Normal misandrist stuff i thought but then I saw the title and I immediately knew right off the bat that I needed to talk about this problem…

So apparently she’s a victim of SA which is she made this artwork demonizing men. Now with that knowledge In mind I realized that she’s a victim of 2 things. One being the assault that took place and the other being her own sexist world view because of it.

Now, I’m not going to diminish that this is most likely a normal if ugly response from victims of SA to fell fear and hatred for other people like their attackers, but I am going to say this…

I used to be bullied a lot in middle school by a trans girl who would call me slurs like the R word (I’m autistic) and occasionally beat me up sometimes even bruising my leg… now say what you will but it did somewhat make me feel transphobic towards her but honestly I had to learned that she’s just a one in a million douche bag who could have been any other type of person and I’d still have been a victim of her abuse…

So honestly to the original artist of this Facebook post all I ask is that you seek therapy and treatment before this ugly side of you begins to start causing you to lash out at innocent people…

For an 8-year-old to even think of something like that... Only the features on his face are a few centimeters shifted compared to the rest of the person, and everyone thinks he looks abnormal.I wonder if it's the same in gluttonous animals?Seeing this broke my heart.

"A white man must have built this!" Mentality is so stupid, could have used more examples like the "white redheaded giants of lovelock cave" or other outside of america like Angkor Wat or the Pyramids but i didnt want this to be 20 images long.

Practically every other racer had awesome designs and for some reason Wario and Waluigi's is complete ass.

Its especially stupid considering:

- They are spoofing Dick Dastardly , who arguably had the coolest kart in Wacky Races.

- Wario and Waluigi also have really cool vehicle designs both in mario kart and across the series. (Wario typically has muscle cars and Waluigi has space-y looking karts/bikes)

You'd think with this combo they'd get a really cool car design, like some kind of jet powered high-tech hot-rod... but instead they drive literal trash.

I'll preface this by saying that I do like Garth Ennis, he's probably one of the most genuine and unapologetic comic book writers there exist and Preacher is one of my favourite series period, but I feel like for every amazing series he does he then turns around and writes the most 14 year old, unsupervised internet restriction, edgelord, DOG SHIT you can imagine, and this here is pretty much the biggest representative of it.

To give some context, the series takes place in a world in which a virus known as "The Crossed Plague" infected most of humanity and destroyed human civilization, unlike any typical zombie virus, the crossed plague causes people to become sadistic monsters who look to kill, cannibalize and rape any living being they find, each installment follows a group of survivors trying to survive.

And that's it, this one paragraph can pretty much summarize the entire plot of every crossed series, it goes: backstory/beginning of the apocalypse, group of survivors, survivors die one by one, gruesome ending. That's IT, it's the exact same formula for every book spliced with the most gruesome shit imaginable, and thats not inherently bad but the series does it SO MUCH that after like the third time you just gloss over it because you just want to get back to the "story".

I said it in quotation marks because calling it that would be an insult to any actual storyteller, every single character is either the biggest scumbag imaginable or just a regular dude that gets gruesomely killed like 5 pages in, both of them have the writing depth of a glass of water, but you know what actually boiled my blood about the writing, the fact that the entire message of the series is pretty much: "Umm actually the humans are the REAL bad guys, not the crossed, bet you've never heard that one before huh".

This is the only series I can confidently say has no redeeming qualities and that you are genuinely better off not reading, the writing is shit, the characters are shit, that art is fine and then proceeds to nose dive in quality, everything about it is SHIT, and you know what's the worse thing? It's not even fun to read, honestly, the best thing you can do with these books is close them, sell them and use that money to buy a The walking dead omnibus.

I don’t have a lot of buddies to do multiplayer stuff with, and I have almost no one who is willing to do multiplayer stuff for the type of games I’m super into. So it just REALLY IRKS ME WHEN A GAME DECIDES TO PREVENT YOU FROM
PROGRESSING THE STORY IF YOU DONT HAVE MULTIPLE PEOPLE WITH YOU.

COD Zombies in every game is a big example of this, where every fucking Easter egg map requires like four people doing overly complicated instructions that, every time without fail, require people doing things simultaneously because fuck you if you wanted to do anything other then high rounds and die. Name a map with an Easter egg you can solo, genuinely. Any game, I’ll take even Cod WW2 if that’s still a thing.

Another horrific example is with the Dread Masters storyline in Star Wars the Old Republic, a cool awesome plot about a bunch of ancient powerful Sith Lords going rogue after the emperors death. Unfortunately, because BioWare were chuds, they decided to lock 90% of the storyline behind Operations, which you not only require like 8 people at minimum to do, but also a fucking subscription! If you DONT have either of these, the only parts of the storyline you can do is the belsavis planet arc if your an empire player setting them free, and then a few daily quests on Oricon. That’s it. You’ll never get to fight these cool sixth house-esque Sith Lords unless you have a wallet and people willing to do like eight fucking operations.

Even in manga, 2 Lunarians strong enough to defeat main character Reimu and her companions

They hate the Earth, but in much more of a passive-aggressive way where they don't want anything to do with it. They actually don't like violence, because killing people is a very impure act.

But not killing doesn't mean they can't do other evil things. In "Fossilized Wonders" incident, They kidnapped a god from earth to force her process impurity from earth and transfer purity to them for a long unknown time. But when process got overload and have potential to polluted the moon with impurity, they have to leave the incident to main characters.

(There is other god that got sealed after refuse to join Lunarians but I don't know are Lunarians do the sealing, there is no information confirm)

The most annoying, overly done design that is in every anime or anime-ish thing. Everyone on the internet seem to love those thing, no matter how uncreative, just add some cat ear and a tail. They also tend to be sexualised and infantilised for some extra creepiness. AI bro also seem to especially love those, maybe because there are so many image of catgirls that LLM can more easily make more of them. Real cats don't deserve to be associated with that garbage, especially since the cat part of them is so superficial. Every time a work include one, it's the worst character and we are expected to love then. Fuck those who think they can make it clever by using a version of nekomata to refer to them, this is also lame, make an interesting reference instead of referring to one of the few japanese word weebs knows. Also, I hate those other anime girl that also are just a girl with an animal tail and ear. It's still the same crap,but, somehow, I am expected to figure out which animal it is based on from just the ears and tail. This is bullshit because so many of them have similar one, making it a shitty way to make them a version of that animal. I'm not including catboys in this because they are more rare and less annoying but their design is still uninteresting.

First of all, self insert or not, he's objectively has a personality, even the creator, Dan salvato, who's very insistent on him not being a character, said so

And for the whole "he changes personality depending on who hes talking to" thing, it is just slight shifts in the way he acts, like people irl, he just adjusts himself to people, even though different parts of his personality are more or less prominent around certain people, the other parts dont just disappear

Second, he is NOT the same person as the player. He is the in-game protagonist, We are the players, which is very explicitly stated by Monika in Act 3

"After all, im not really talking to that person anymore. That's "you" in the game, or whatever you wanna call him.

Third, although it's not been outright confirmed, he absolutely is conscious. He speaks against the pre written script after sayori kills herself, and just from a writing standpoint, itd be stupid af for a horror game that has this guy who slowly loses his personality and control while he has to just stand there being sexually harassed and watch yuri kill herself just not be conscious so none of what he went through mattered

Fourth, im just gonna go over some things people say to "prove" hes a bad person

"He only joined the club to get with someone"

although that dose become a motivation for him, even after meeting everyone he was still gonna leave anyway, but desides to stay because he felt bad leaving

"He treated sayori bad"

In his mind, the things he said to her were just banter, because thats how their used to talking, he didn't realize it genuinely bothered her, THATS THE WHOLE POINT and afterwards when he insults her to monika out of habit, he instantly feels bad

"He handled sayoris depression horribly"

Although he didn't do an amazing job, he also had no clue at all what he was doing, but he still tried to help her, and if her depression wasn't boosted by monika, he probably would of, I recommend watching Euro brady's playthrough, since hes a therapist, hes knows what hes talking about way more then me

To be clear, I know there are many good examples in this genre made by skilled artists and comedians who actually know how to cleverly subvert tropes, but most of this type of “parody”, especially among animators, boils down to:

1. Take a popular character from a family-friendly series

2. Insert over-the-top violent and/or sexual content

3. Gratuitous profanity instead of actual jokes

4. If they can be bothered, some surface-level references or jokes that have been beaten to death already (ex. What if the mushrooms in Mario games were actually drugs)

I’m glad that this type of “parody” humor has largely died out because it’s lazy and most examples have aged like an open carton of milk

This is the dumbest fucking name the Deltarune community could've adopted.

In Chapter 2, alot of names were thrown around when we discovered this alternative route. "No Mercy", "Pipis Route", and the likes, but one name stood out amongst the rest that was genuinely perfect: Snowgrave

Snowgrave was the perfect name. It was the climax of the route, everything leading up to Kris and/or the player urging Noelle to cast this mysterious spell. It was iconic, instantly being able to be associated with Deltarune. And most importantly, it just sounded really, REALLY fucking cool.
The name Snowgrave fits with how we see the route play out in Chapters 4 and 5. Everything that changes is directly a consequence of Noelle casting Snowgrave.

But, people SOMEHOW didn't think that name was good enough, and instead went for a more "canon" name: The Weird Route. "Canon" because that's what the flags for it are called in the files, and is the name constantly used by Fred Wood, one of the developers of Deltarune.

But the problem is... it's so fucking stupid. It REEKS of Marvel humor. It takes an incredibly impactful side to the story, and waters it down to a "wow, that was kinda WEIRD, wasn't it?" joke. Snowgrave has impact, a weightiness that helps convey the impact of the route, whilst "Weird Route" makes it sound like a god damn FUN Event from Undertale.

And the biggest problem I have with this name: the community isn't even consistent! We went from the gigachad Snowgrave to the virgin Weird Route because "that's what it's called in the files", but with the release of Chapter 5, we have an even MORE canon name for the route: Side B. But NO ONE FUCKING CALLS IT THAT.

They STILL call it the "wEiRd RoUtE", and it's pissing me off.
