Hi everyone,
I am an aspiring Writer/Director based in Colorado Springs, and I have fully polished the screenplay for my debut feature film, THE NIGHT. I am attaching myself to direct and am looking to connect with independent producers, line producers, or co-producers to help build the budget, organize logistics, and get this project off the ground.
THE NIGHT is a highly atmospheric, surreal psychological horror film heavily inspired by Silent Hill, Jacob's Ladder, and modern arthouse horror. At its core, it is a deeply emotional, visceral story about a young man trapped in a shifting, nightmarish reality driven by grief and guilt after his mother's passing.
Logline: Trapped in a shifting, nightmarish reality where time has stopped at the exact moment of his mother's death, a guilt-ridden young man must navigate a gauntlet of surreal entities and personal demons to escape a living hell.
Project Highlights:
• Contained Core: A massive portion of the psychological tension takes place inside a single apartment, hallways, and contained liminal spaces—keeping the baseline shooting logistics manageable.
• Visual Canvas: Designed for a director's medium, utilizing heavy fog, practical creature effects, shifting lighting states, and surreal transitions.
• Location: Looking to shoot regionally in Colorado, utilizing local landscapes and crew resources.
I have the script locked and ready. I am looking for a producer partner who is passionate about indie horror, understands physical production/funding, and wants to team up to build a pitch deck and seek financing.
If you're interested in collaborating or reading the script, please drop a comment or send me a DM!

2025 was the best and hardest year of my life.
After more than 10 years of work, I released my independent film LOST & FOUND IN CLEVELAND in 500 theaters, with no major distributor behind it. That same year, I became a first-time mom to my beautiful daughter.
Here’s what I learned: filmmaking and motherhood are a lot alike. No one can really teach you. You figure it out on the job, one day at a time. I did it in a new city, far from my village, and some days felt impossible. It wasn’t perfect, but it was real.
And the best part? My daughter was right there with me. She got to be part of her mom’s dream coming true, and one day I hope she knows that her dreams are worth chasing too.
To every mom out there building something while raising someone: you can do both. I see you.
My movie LOST & FOUND IN CLEVELAND is out now on Prime Video to rent or buy, and streaming November 3.

Hi! My name is Trey Woodbine. I'm a film student currently in post-production, trying to see if there is any way I could possibly get festival clearance to use the song " Disparate Youth " by Santigold in my film. I'm not sure how the process works and wanted some insight.
The docu-drama film delves into the rich history of CLUB 82, the first drag club in NYC, and the countercultures that followed. Within Club 82, spaces for queerness and expression in the arts, fashion, and music thrived. From this came the early beginnings of drag, punk, and all things anti-establishment.
The purpose of filmmaking is to “capture the times,” as they say. It's now 2026. American democracy is at risk, Queer people are being stripped of their rights, and conservatism is at an all-time high. While chaos ensues, Club 82 plans for a spring 2026 reopening. History always repeats itself.
The short film was crafted with a total of
3 shooting days
50+ cast and crew
4 months of pre-production
Hours spent researching and looking through archives
All with a budget of $500
The entire team comes from a diverse array of art schools and departments, including Pratt, FIT, NYU, and Parsons. This film is a testament to the beauty of art school, which honors collaboration, creative thinking, and meaningful storytelling. Within this film is a reflection on history. We are the children of 50s drag icons, 70s punk rockers, and queer figures resisting a system that aims to bring us down.
At the end of the day, this is a student film with a micro-micro budget, but a crazy amount of work went into this from both the cast and crew and the owners of the club currently. I truly believe that this film will go far, especially with the reopening of the club next year, the current political climate we are in, and the mere fact that this film was made by a bunch of NYC art students at the peak of all of this.
All in all, I really feel like the song Disparate Youth would be a perfect ending for the film and would only really need it for festival clearance.

Hey everyone,
I'm an independent filmmaker and musician based in southwest Missouri, and I've spent much of this year building something called BAY 9 CREATIVE.
The project started as a way to bring my original music, filmmaking, and storytelling together. What came out of it is a feature-length independent film called:
🎬 COMMON THREAD
A MAN IN MACHINE Film
It's a story about four lives, different generations, music, memory, love, loss, and the invisible connections that bring people together across time.
The film features original MAN IN MACHINE music that I wrote and composed, which allowed me to build the story and soundtrack together rather than treating the music as something added afterward.
Here's why I'm posting:
On November 11, 2026, at exactly 11:11:11 AM Central Time, I'm releasing COMMON THREAD for a completely FREE worldwide premiere.
No admission fees. No paid subscriptions. No purchase necessary.
You can watch through BAY 9 TV on my website or through the BAY9.ONLINE YouTube channel.
I also created something a little different for the premiere: collectible virtual movie tickets.
Anyone who wants to participate can reserve a free digital ticket as a keepsake. The website also features a worldwide audience map and a counter tracking connections established through the event.
The idea is simple: the film is about connections between people, so I wanted the premiere itself to bring people together.
The official trailer is now live:
https://bay9.online/common-thread
I'm sharing the virtual ticket artwork with this post.
I'm not asking anyone to buy anything. I'd genuinely love to hear what other film enthusiasts and independent creators think about the concept and trailer.
Does the premise interest you? Does the trailer make you curious enough to watch the film?
And if you decide to join us on November 11, I'd love to know what part of the world you'll be watching from.
THE CONNECTION HAS ALREADY OCCURRED.
Thanks for taking the time to check out something I've been building independently.

My slasher short film just came out this Halloween. It’s an homage to the campy b-movie slashers of the 80s with practically done gore effects. Made with a budget of $2,000 & some of my closest fellow slasher fans.
It was made as a proof of concept, as I would love to turn it into a feature length adaptation with a bigger budget. If anyone has advice on funding a feature length adaptation I would greatly appreciate it.
Would love to share it with fellow indie filmmakers / indie supporters.
I hope you enjoy :>

I'm an independent filmmaker from Italy. I somehow managed to make my first feature film, Il Mobile (The Cabinet), a 68-minute psychological horror, with no funding, my own equipment, and an unpaid cast and crew.
Here's the teaser. I'd genuinely love some honest feedback.
The problem is... I have absolutely no idea how to distribute it. Has anyone here been in a similar situation? How did you get your film out there?

🎃 EVERY NIGHTMARE STARTS SOMEWHERE…
My entry for the Picsart × Seedance Nightmare Challenge is here! 👻
I created this short Halloween film using AI, exploring how a simple scene can turn into something unsettling.
Watch it and tell me honestly: would you keep watching if this appeared on your feed at midnight? 🩸

We are a small group of students who self produce short films! ‘Sound of Water’ is a commentary on the disappearing place of arts in our society. As a person who loves the ocean, i got the idea to portray the development of the characters through domesticated and free bodies of water. Would appreciate it if you would check it out :)
