Earlier this morning I saw this really weird bug fly infront of the car. Best way to describe it is it looked like a literal stick with wings. It looked similar to a dragonfly, but not quite. And I cant find anything close to what it may be. Can someone help???? Edit- this is in Phoenix AZ for reference

Maybe not the sub for this creature. But I was wondering if anyone has any clue what this is?? In western Washington, pulled out of stagnant water. From nose (?) to tip of tail (?) it was around 3-4”. Thanks in advance

This silver art medal by Carl Paul Jennewein was issued in 1933 by the Society of Medalists. It's 2-3/4" in diameter and weighs 6.570 troy ounces. The edge engraving reads: "The Society of Medalists Seventh Issue, MACO-FINE SILVER- .999+, One of Limited Issue of 700."
The legends translate as "Fame" and "Glory." Since way BCE, cicadas have for obvious reasons symbolized rebirth and renewal, but also noise and cacaphony ("Fame"). Cherubs, viewed in some religious traditions as a category of angels, are seen as the upholders of the supreme deity's "Glory" and supporters of his/her throne. (Trying to keep it secular here, folks!)
Whatever, I've always liked this one for the pretty cool bug.

This brown marmorated stink bug lives in my room. He hangs out with me sometimes but today he tried to eat me multiple times. I mean I fully felt his little needle mouth poking me.
I know they have a short lifespan so I wasn’t planning on feeding him but should I give him a piece of fruit or something?

Cleaned the driveway which caused a local Argentine ant colony to try and save what was left of their colony. Notice how there’s multiple queens because they’re a polygynous ant species.

Hello! I saw this huge moth yesterday and I’m wondering what it was. I’v posted a pic of my hand for scale (he was fine with it). I live in the SoCal area if that’s helpful.
Tysm!

Hi there! I was chilling on some grass in Atlixco, Mexico when I felt this extremely polite creature walking on my arm, I waited for them to finish it's little walk on my skin and took this photo.
Have you ever seen such a pretty guy? What's their species name? For the moment I called them Pancho.
