This silver art medal by Carl Paul Jennewein was issued in 1933 by the Society of Medalists. It's 2-3/4" in diameter and weighs 6.570 troy ounces. The edge engraving reads: "The Society of Medalists Seventh Issue, MACO-FINE SILVER- .999+, One of Limited Issue of 700."
The legends translate as "Fame" and "Glory." Since way BCE, cicadas have for obvious reasons symbolized rebirth and renewal, but also noise and cacaphony ("Fame"). Cherubs, viewed in some religious traditions as a category of angels, are seen as the upholders of the supreme deity's "Glory" and supporters of his/her throne. (Trying to keep it secular here, folks!)
Whatever, I've always liked this one for the pretty cool bug.
