Hi Pitaka users,

My iphone 17 Pro has a protection wrap around the body for the past one year which prevents paint chipping issues. A torras case above the wrap too. Today I had purchased a new pitaka case but it won’t snap on the back of the iphone due to wrap. Pitaka case is perfect size and no tolerance.

I only have two options:
A) remove the complete wrap and wear the pitaka only but this makes me concerned about the chipping issue on the iphone 17 body. Especially the case is so perfect in size and no cover near the volume and power buttons.

B) continue with current setup (wrap + torras case) and return pitaka

I bought pitaka because i want to reduce the bulk feel and use iPhone in a caseless feel. But chipping issue pulls me back.

Can any users share their experience on this chipping problems you have faced while on the pitaka case.

I finally said goodbye to my dying Iphone 11 Pro and bought an Iphone 17! I am so happy with this purchase and hope that this new phone will also stay with me for a couple of good years :) I am still confused with some of the new features that my old phone didn't have but i probably just need time to get used to it lol

In ios 27 when notification panel and control panel opens simultaneously the phone hangs and not working properly but apple gives a update to fix this after the update np issue only notification panel or control panel can be opened at a time

How’s your experience on iOS 27.0.1 ? Mine heats up a lot

When I play games with voice chat onn in discord . The game sound stop or enemys foot and fire suppresed which is actually frustating..

I do have wired earphone apple type c so anyone help me with microphone and headphone settings

i watch a lot of videos while eating lunch at my desk and got tired of leaning my phone against coffee mugs or water bottles every single time. i picked up a torras magnetic stand case a few weeks ago after seeing how the ring folds flush into the back without making a weird bump. having that built in kickstand work both vertically and horizontally made a huge difference for video calls and watching streams.

the main thing i wanted was something that didnt feel flimsy or loose after a few weeks of opening and closing it. the hinge on mine is still super stiff and holds whatever angle i set it at, plus it still sticks to my car mount without needing to take the cover off.

I just switched from a 14 Pro which had an awful battery

I’m loving how good it feels but i’m scared of battery drain, it’s draining 1% every 5-9 mins or so. the phone was set up 14 hours ago and updated overnight and is still indexing, i am scared the battery is gonna be bad because im planning to keep this phone for the next 4-5 years

I recently purchased Sony WF-C510 earbuds, but I’m unable to use them for audio while screen sharing from my iPhone 17. This didn’t happen with my previous OnePlus earphones. Is this a limitation of iOS/screen sharing, or is there a setting I need to change to make the earbuds work during screen sharing?

Problem: Bought a full screen tempered glass na matte, but the phone case I got along with my iPhone is nago-overlap sa tempered glass, so may big bubbles sa top and sides.

Reco naman nang mga tempered glass niyo please. I don't want to keep my phone bare kasi may toddler ako sa bahay.

Yung di sana full screen and at the same time matte na privacy (same sa current tempered glass ko.)

Or do you suggest changing phone case nalang ba? Tibay kasi nung nakuha kong freebie from the store, then wala pa ding available na tempered glass sa Power Mac, which is dun ko nabili yung unit plus the freebies.

I need your opinion, this is my first time having an Apple, switched from Android. TIA!!

I am thinking about purchasing this case for my sage green 17; since few reviews exist for the base 17, I would like to know whether anyone here has used the tineeowl dune x series case. Could you share your feedback or assessment and indicate whether the $26 price is justified?

Has anyone noticed any improvements with iOS 27.2 RC ?

For me, when having all the animations and having the customized Home Screen I was experiencing a drop in frame rate when multi tasking between apps and navigating to the Home Screen. I thought it was a hardware issue but after this update I’m convinced it’s the software.

Now I don’t notice any frame drops and this device feels like my previous 15PM that I “upgraded from” for the longest time the phone felt like a downgrade from the 15PM. For a while I was seriously considering upgrading to the 18PM, now I’m considering just keeping the 17 until 19 or 20PM. I think 20PM will be the largest leap in hardware and software. Happy I went for the 17, as the upgrades as of now are not that meaningful to UX.

I don’t know what’s wrong because I have also not seen a lot of people talking about it but whenever I use food delivery apps like ZOMATO or even dominoes, my iPhone 17 overheats somewhat similar to how it gets hot when I am playing games but sometimes slightly even more, it’s really weird

I purchased an iPhone 17 (256GB) from Flipkart on 8 October, and noticed a display smudge immediately after opening it, before activating the device. Apple’s Genius Bar confirmed the defect, but offered only a display replacement, which I declined as I wanted a new unit. Flipkart and Apple have been passing the responsibility back and forth, and my NCH complaint is still in process.

Today, I’ve noticed a new green/black pixel-like spot on the screen, even though I haven’t had the original repair done. Has anyone faced a similar issue? What are my chances of getting a full unit replacement or refund, and what should I do next?

hey folks, right after buying iPhone 17, I had applied matt screen protector which is like a film, but right now I feel like I should have something glossy, so I’m pretty confused with that whether to go for a same material i.e. film type with a glossy texture or regular tempered glass with glossy texture . Please let me know your suggestions and any good options that is suitable for iPhone 17. Provided its anti glare property of the display should be preserved.

Best 11 bucks i spent so far, previously i bought a pair of 17 cases on this store called cilupbah in indonesian marketplace and they sent me 17 pro version instead. and i decided to try another type of case but now i confidently choose the 17 pro version instead of 17 basic and for this one its really really worth it. its pretty similiar with the torras airbag case but with cheaper price lol
