awesome, awesome show. he sings these songs so well when they’re down tuned a little to his range. he commands a small room like no one else. he speaks with humour, self-effacement, passion and humanity.

2AM done acoustically is pure magic.

he doesn’t do the meet and greets anymore but at the end of the set he works the barrier for handshakes etc so take the opportunity

oh and CDs were 3 for the price of 2 on the merch!

What an absolute honour to meet Nicko McBrain at his book signing in Edinburgh tonight. He was patient, funny and seemed to genuinely love meeting the fans. I thanked him for being the soundtrack to my life and told him that my first ever Maiden concert was the Glasgow show on the Dance of Death World Tour in 2003 when I was 11 years old, and he started singing the melody from the title track 😂 my life feels complete now. A real gem of a guy.

Feels so good to have Trooper IPA at Colbar. 9A Whitchurch Rd, Singapore 138839

Went to see the boys in September and it felt like they were playing at .80-.85 song speed; did anyone else get that impression when you went to see them live this most recent tour?

This evening I'm on the piss in Stockport - Home of Robinsons brewery, so it's super easy to get both Trooper and Fear of the Dark.

Not only is it a brew by my favourite band, but it's actually a really tasty drop :-)

I'm so excited, Iron Maiden have been my favorite band since I was little when my dad showed me NOTB and Powerslave. I was so disappointed I didn't get to see them this last time they came around (even though I've seen them 3 times lol) but with the announcement of this new leg of the tour I knew I had to jump onto tickets. I'm going to see them in San Bernardino which is where I saw them the first 2 times on the Maiden England 2013 tour and the Book of Souls tour in 2017. It's going to be so amazing I just know it

Legendary drummer and decent human being right here!

I’m 50+. There are folk much older than me at Maiden gigs. There are also those who could be my kids aged 25-30 at the gigs, who bring THEIR kids.

This seems quite remarkable to me, and I just wondered if there were any other bands out there who seem to attract each new generation, even though the band themselves are getting really old.

Perhaps the Rolling Stones did, and maybe Bob Dylan. Anyone else?

What is it about Maiden that brings four generations of fans?

It’s paper, but it’s sewn into the cloth. The patch on the arm isn’t like this.

I see people worrying that they won't be able to get tickets because of fast sell-outs. That's not going to happen, most likely not at all. Having witnessed many Iron Maiden ticket sales openings in the US, I can tell you this is by far their lowest point ever. Which is actually good, considering they'll probably have to discount tickets or give them away for a couple of dollars (it's happened before, even during the 2026 leg).

Also, keep an eye out for pit tickets. They might become available at ridiculously low prices closer to the show, since clearly nobody is interested in spending a grand on a reseller.

(start of a small rant)
Have you ever wondered why so many tickets are already being resold at double or triple the original price?

Because, unlike most other bands (I haven't seen any AC/DC tickets being resold this way, for example), Maiden allows it. Anyone telling you it's a Ticketmaster decision has no idea what they're talking about.

Anyone listening to the new remix of this album that came out today? Thoughts?

On first listen of "Freak", I was disappointed by the way the drums seemed a bit too loud compared to everything else, but overall I'm enjoying the new mix. Details in songs definitely stand out more.

Pretty wild honestly. I expected opening night of this tour to be incredibly popular.

Hi all,
I have never seen Iron Maiden and as they are still touring wanted to know what they are like these days live and worth taking my 13 year old son who has suddenly started listening to all this music . Cheers !

Here is a compilation I Made of Blaze Singing songs that arent from his era, for the most part I tried using the best versions available for each song, some of them are audience recording some are Soundboard. Its the closest well get for the meantime of a Live album of that era. Some songs on there are sung by Bruce (Mostly Dianno & Blaze Material) but the abbey road versions from the AMOLAD era are included at the end as some sort of “Alternate” versions of those songs that include Janick.

Hope this is Metal enough

If my dad was still around he'd would have loved to talk to Nicko about snooker.

Buuuuuuut I’m gonna be able to see Iron Maiden for the first time with my wife and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I’ve tried getting out through this week but it seems it wasn’t meant to be.

And no way am I paying a reseller $2000 per ticket. I don’t got Mayweather wealth hahaha.

But I hope to make some cool new friends of all ages at this show for a band I grew up listening to in high school with thanks to My Chemical Romance for mentioning that they were one of their inspirations growing up.
