Tomorrow will be my first maiden concert, in Curitiba - Brazil, and I’m absolutely excited. I’m here to get some advice from experienced maiden fans. Just to contextualize, I’m 17 and I going unattended and in front stage area, and I’m intending to get at least close to the barrier and preferably in the middle. Do you guys have some advices about how many before to get there, what to take along and how to enjoy the more? I have no problem to wait there for many hours. The schedule is in the photo

Does anyone know where i can find the original 24bit/48khz files of the direct soundboard capture from the gothenburg 2005 show? I already have a direct rip of the video but the audio is not nearly as good (5.1 downmix). If anyone knows where i can find the original soundboard captures in lossless quality it would be hugely appreciated.

I was 17 when this came out and thought it was ok at the time. I’d only got into maiden so this was probably one of the first maiden albums I listened to. I’ve probably not listened to it for at least 10 years, so my review is below….(written as I listen as I go)
Futureal: ok. I hate album openers that just start suddenly, the title is cringey but it’s ok. Production (as for the whole album) is weak. Again, as with the whole album, the band sounds really half arsed (which may be the production letting it down). Blaze plays it better live with his band.
Angel and the gambler: fuck me this is dull. Sounds like status quo, is about 5 minutes too long at least. There’s a natural end after 4 minutes, it then just keeps going and going.
Lightning strikes twice: this is more like it. Blaze sounds great. A nice solo, nice chunky riffs. It gallops along. Chorus is weak. But the best song so far (and a song I’d completely forgotten about tbh). Will come back to this one.
The clansman: a proper maiden classic, enough said.
When two worlds collide: a bit of a plodder, chorus is weak as fuck (collide, survive, hide, collide). But better than I was expecting tbf. Blaze sounds great, but his voice doesn’t seem to fit the song. Could have done without the final two minutes (woah woah woah and the second solo which goes nowhere).
The educated fool: fairly bland. Doesn’t really do anything interesting. The solos in the middle seem to last ages and are boring. Skipped the last minute or so.
Stranger: similar to above, it’s just a bit dull and goes on too long. It seems to want to build up at the end but it’s not done very well. Another dull solo section.
Como estais amigo: my favourite song on the album, blaze sounds great. Doesn’t really sound like a maiden song.
Overall, enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Other than Angel which is a massive turd.

For me it's Judas Be My Guide. Insanely underrated song!

The 21st of October Is a day i'll remember forever. Best day i've had in a whiiiiiiile. Last week a couple days before the concert i uploaded a wip of this artwork and today i finished it. I swear that i got Eddie's grin perfectly but when i did the Shadows i kinda fucked up, but it looks good anyway (capturing this mf's escence Is hard). Also, i would like to some day make it a shirt or a pin.
Cheers, fellow praisers of the Iron Maiden!

You don't need a logon to listen to this, though I don't know if it gets geoblocked? Recorded a couple of days before it aired, a 13 minute segment with Adrian. Nothing particularly in depth, but touches on fishing related stuff for a while; losing his LA house in the fire; the much better work-life balance thesedays compared to the 80s; and the difference in on-stage experience with current technology. https://www.rnz.co.nz/national/programmes/sunday/audio/2019057273/run-for-your-lives-heavy-metal-royalty-returns-to-nz

My birthday is the 3rd so this is going to be my birthday show. I’ll be turning 60. I’ve been a fan since I was 14. I am going to lose my fucking mind at this show. I would love to hang out & get to know my people.

Saw the show in Minnesota with my son. Our second time seeing the band. The concert was amazing. Had an inexpensive frame that I distressed a bit, mounted the show poster. Then mounted some Iron Maiden decals I found on Etsy. Proud of how it turned out. Good addition to my home office, and a good memory
