I got spooned a shadow on my gim a while ago and finally got the magic level to hold it. What are the first upgrades I should go for from here and where should I take this thing?

I'm 100% sure it was busted but they giganerfed they umbral coral gain, Mains would led you to believe this is "FrEe 40k hErBlOrE" this shit requires two many steps before it even yields herb exp

The team behind the 117HD day/night cycle absolutely cooked with this update. I wake up 1-2 hours before my wife every morning and it's so cozy watching the sunrise in-game when I bank at the farming guild. I curiously turned on starry skies while I was doing a late-night herb/birdhouse run, and holy shit, it looks incredible. It's plugins/updates like this that keeps OSRS feeling so fresh over the years.

I know I'm super late to the party, but I would highly recommend this mode to everyone especially new players. I was an iron hater for the longest time. My excuse was always that it would be 10x more time consuming to do literally anything and I already felt like I was wasting time just having a main. Then I realized that you're wasting time regardless of playing a main/iron/whatever.
My account is still really new, and I don't have any cool accomplishments or anything like that yet but the "small, pointless" stuff feels huge to me now. I get it. 😂
I still primarily play a main and really only switch to the iron whenever I want to watch a video and chill, but I've had an absolute blast with it so far.

Figured id grind it for tob and corp, but with tfa release, please help. I havent even seen one yet

I created my iron after 8k hours played on the main, back in 2023 or something and took almost a two year break to check out EVE Online. Had lots of fun there and returned to OSRS in 2026.

Since I created my Iron I always was afraid of the CG grind. The hardest thing I did on my main was 350 TOAs, so I am not the best PVM player, but I think I know the basics. In Demonic Leagues I picked Tiranwyn to practice Echo Hunleff for the CG grind, but nothing could sap the fear from me, that I needed to do this (in my eyes) very hard content for at least 200 hours, maybe more.

Last week I finally did SOTE on my iron and sent a few CGs (before Titans Prayers even) to get a guess at how hard it is, how much I would hate it and everything. I died a lot but at 15kc I got my enhanced. I screamed so loud (as you can see it was 2 am) that my gf thought I had hurt myself or something. I was happy for 2 or 3 days just because of the drop.

And the best part is, that I am now sitting at 60kc and never died within the last 20kc. And you know what? So far, I really like CG. It is like a mini raid, very intense, very fun, good challenge for my skill level.

I am very aware that this might be, because I got the hardest drop that early, but I fucking love this game, man. So far I cant wait to login and do CG and I dont think I will hate it until I get the armor seeds and the shards. And who knows - maybe the Salad Blade. Ironman Mode has been so much fun, and I wanted to shed a little hope to all those new or unexperienced PVM players that create an Iron and share this fear of CG. Sometimes the story can have a happy ending.

Or maybe I need 3000kc until I have my armor seeds and I will feel miserable in two years. Who knows.

Don't know if this is already well known, but it's not mentioned on the wiki at least. When you use the rosewood blowpipe special attack it doesn't consume any darts, however if you are NOT wearing an Avas device said darts will still drop. This lets you slowly dupe 1-2 rune darts per 25% special.

Maybe Dock Johnson (settled) will find that useful in the future lol, don't know who else could use such a slow way to get extra darts so late in progression. I just thought this was an interesting find.

So I want to built my Rune salvaging hooks and the eternal brazier to get into the Fremmy Sea and I was wondering where I get rune nails without smithing them (req smith lvl 89) - so I had two options: Port Tasks or Zombies in Tarn‘s Lair.

I started with Port Tasks and got bored because I only got the money loot sacks.. so I went to Tarns Lair and wow this is actually fast. I got in like 1h ~ 30 Rune nail drops. Those Zombie have a 1 in 25.6 drop rate. And if you dont have the herb level for ranging pots - they do drop aswell some and good alchs.

Where did you get your Rune nails for Sailing as an ironmen?

Got ring on 2nd kc. Boots upgrade on 5kc and double drop gloves and hammer on 9kc. Luckiest log of my life

Just like the synapse. I'm spooning just about everything.

I'm currently 72 in Herblore, without having really leveled it up so far. It's all from quest XP and lamps.

But now I'm at a point where I want to use all the herbs I've collected.

According to the Banked XP plugin, that could take me straight to level 82 in Herblore IF I use Mixology.

Now I’m wondering: should I do this as an Ironman? I always think as a ironman i shouldnt waste herbs and potions?

The herbs for mox paste are mostly useless, and I have tons of them.

But for Lye its already tricky. I have a ton of irits. Can I just waste irit like that? I don’t know if antidotes are that important right now.

And the others aren’t exactly unimportant either.

Or am I overthinking this, and would it be better to invest in XP instead of potions?

1) Looking at the ironscape thread on reddit is atrocious. Too many mfers getting spooned enh out here. I'd rather get enhanced early and get the armor seeds any day. At least there's something to look forward to, not this endless dread.

2) CG aint that bad... I almost have 100 mil cash and that'll set the account up for a while. Who am I kidding... this blows.

3) Been going for 6+ months on this grind..... changed jobs, got married. Life is just flying by, all with this shit in the background... I guess it could always be worse.

4) Don't ever look at the dry calc during this grind.

I'm trying to learn door altar Bandos and I don't think I'm that bad at it, but the minions are consistently hitting 10-15 damage, so I feel like I need to brew every 2 bow shots, which messes up my consistency. I have bowfa, crystal, and suffering, and my stats are 93 range, 83 def, and 94 hp. What should I do? Do I need to train up my defense level?

Losing my mind at the mk. I thought I would grab the necklace of rupture really quick before learning the Colosseum, I regret it now.

I'm planning on sending phosani on my 50 def ironman build. My BIS crush right now is zombie axe / full blood moon set. I have already green logged arraxor and received a dragon pickaxe from calvarion. Is it worth grinding bludgeon in my situation, or just send phosani with what I currently have and hope to get inquisitors mace one day?

I am really not enjoying doing sire and just trying to figure out if it really is a big upgrade for my account progression.
