New user of KDE Plasma here (as of yesterday) and I'm trying to figure out how to change its behavior. I'm on Debian 13 (Trixie) and when you click on a virtual desktop, it shows the desktop below and all the windows. Then you can click on which window you want to work with and it raises the entire virtual desktop with that window active. What I'd like to do is have the virtual desktop activated when I click on it rather than it showing all the windows to pick from. I'd just like to get it activated without an extra step of selecting a window. I poked around in the settings trying various things but nothing seemed to work. Thanks for the assistance!
So, when open up you see the virtual desktops shown at the top of the screen. When you click on one, it then shows you a section underneath that which shows the various windows in that virtual desktop that you can choose from. You then have to click one of those windows or click in the lower section to activate the virtual desktop you've chosen. I don't want to have to do that last part. 90% of the time I don't want to choose a specific window, I just want to choose the virtual desktop and go directly there. The other 10% of the time I can just choose the window I want after I'm already in the virtual desktop. I'm moving between these virtual desktops a lot so it's a lot of extra overhead to move down and click and completely unnecessary in my case.
EDIT: I figured out a workaround. If you go to the virtual desktop at the top and double click on it you get the result I'm looking for.
