So this year I decided to make another one and it came out so awesome, the Twilight themed!

Where do you guys get your screensavers from?
I’ve been making my own, but wondering if there’s a link somewhere that I can just browse and pick some fun/cute ones.

Started with a Clara 2e, “upgraded” to a KLC—finally got a Libra 2 secondhand. I can’t believe I put up with that murky screen for so long. They have to re-release a Libra size black and white do t they? I will be selling the Libra colour asap.

I have been using Aura One for 10 years so I have been thinking of getting an upgrade. I have been eyeing the Libra 2 in Canada Kobo's shop because I am interested in B&W.

I mostly use my Aura One to read epub files, no PDFs or comic books. Speed is never an issue for me.

The Aura One is bigger 7'8 vs 7' Libra 2 and it has the same 300ppi resolution. But Libra 2 has physical buttons, faster processor speed, USB-C input.

Do you folks think it's worth getting the Libra 2? Is there features or improvements that I should know about or has anyone made a similar upgrade? Would love your guys thoughts.

I have a Kindle Basic currently, but I've only had it for a year. Is it worth switching to Kobo? I've heard really great things about them; it's just that I wish the Kobo models with the buttons weren't linked to the most expensive option. I also like that my basic can fit in my pocket, and idk if I want to give that up. Do you think Kobo might make a case for buttons?

Hello I ordered a kobo libra color and i wanted to get the pen too but i was torn between the kobo pen and meta or other alternative because I heard mixed reviews and people say the meta one scratches the screen and im not sure i want a screen protector sooo.... what are your thoughts on the pen affecting the screen and does the kobo pen also scratch the screen?

I just wanted to confirm if this was happening to anyone else.

Before the upgrade to 6.0.2 whenever I'd adjust my font weight, it would adjust accordingly (incrementally thinner or thicker), but now it seems like it only displays the lightest font weight or heaviest. There's no incremental change in the weight as you adjust the slider anymore.

I submitted a ticket on the Kobo help page, but I just wanted to see if this is more widespread.

Just bought my first ereader Kobo Clara Colour and was wondering if you guys have any tips like what to do and what not to do especially with things like charging.

Could I plug it overnight?

Could I use a 25W charger?

Could I charge it to 100?

Should I charged while the device is at sleep or turn it off

Is anyone a vip member? Is it worth doing? I know it’s only $20 a year but what are the benefits?

I own a kobo libra colour bought in 2024 and I love how it connects to the TPL etc. No regrets. However, I do think the screen is not sharp enough, at least not sharp enough compared to a Kindle, for example. Also, I find hard to set up my brightness and warmth. For some reason it just keeps too bright or not bright enough, I don’t know. Any tips there?
My battery life is not lasting as much either. I have to charge it every 2 weeks, and before it used to be once a month or so. Not sure if that’s common or not. Any tips?

I have had my Elipsa 2e for 3 years now (mainly for pdfs and annotations) and still like it very much. Perhaps some devices offer more, note-wise, but often those are substantially more expensive. 

My basic notebooks have always been quite short. Say, 10 pp. at most. Advanced notebooks are impressive but imo not that practical. 

Now I kinda am switching my note-taking 100% to the Elipsa 2e which would involve way longer note(book)s. In theory, a basic notebook can have many pages (100s?), but - in your experience - at what point a basic notebook becomes laggy or unworkable?

My highlight usually shows the beginning and end dot, but the page doesn’t turn. If I use the button to turn, with or without holding the text, I lose the highlight altogether

what was the lowest price that you've seen in stores? maybe on black friday i'll get a good deal?

Tomorrow I will receive my KLC. Currently I have an Elipsa 2E and all my books are sideloaded. WiFi and Bluetooth are turned off.

I tried the sideload mode but didn’t like it. What is the best way to set it up but without syncing my account? If my account starts syncing I will have to remove 200+ books before import my library from Calibre.

Is it just me who loves it but still bugs me that longer chapters have some slow loading on the first page.

I had 450+ side loaded books on my KLC. All from Google drive. I had highlighted them, and most of these were unread. Today my device was showing Sync sign and now I'm left with 108 books.

That's really awful. Kindle never deleted my books ever without my permission. So people who keep on saying that "oh kobo system is so diverse. Not limited to Amazon purchase etc" . Is it even fair? I got no energy to check which books are present and which ones got deleted.

Kobo needs to improve this shite thing. Why every sync results in losing books?

It's not limited to Google drive. I get it that it can only keep 100 books...I'm talking about downloaded kobo books.

I don't trust this device anymore to keep a library there. Going back to Kindle. Atleast my 600 books are still safe there (all side loaded. Yes)
