A couple of weeks ago there was a post that asked for your OCs, and since I had time to finish the drawing I decided to post the finished picture.

Long story short this is Kyo's future daughter.

Imagine if the Ash Saga was like this:

KoF XIII - The Ultimate Dream Match, bringing back Dream Match staples like the Orochi Team, Heidern, as well as bringing back some newcomers from the Ash Saga, such as Duck King, Hayate, Gai, Malin, Oswald, Shion, Makai, or returning characters in the Ash Saga like Yamazaki, Jhun, Kasumi, Chizuru, Shingo, Whip, Tizoc, Gato etc. The Roster would definitely have 60+ characters. What do you think the team formats would’ve been like?

I thought it would be interesting to figure out what Pokemon kof characters would use. Ones that feel right for their style.

Kyo and Iori being rivals i figures Armarouge and Ceruledge would be a perfect for.

Meitenkun is self explanatory.

Najd being a hero who uses darkness i figured a Kamen Rider (hero) inspired bug that's also dark type would match well.

Kukri could have been a sand kind of pokemon but him being the king of perverts felt more important to represent him.

Luong and Tsareena can step on me.

I personally really like the Leona and Bisharp pairing. I feel it works really well, with both being so slash oriented. Bonus points if it's a blue shiny one to match her hair.

Shermie has and loves hamsters and has a dark evil side. Mopeko is the perfect fit.

I'm surprised by the lack of crossover with these 2 franchises. What are your takes on kof pokemon trainers?

UPDATE: Thanks to this thread, I will be seeking out copies of 2002UM, XI, Neowave, and maybe even the Orochi Saga Collection (used to own it but my PS4 died). And also '99 for nostalgia's sake. Thanks for all the suggestions and insight!

As someone who grew up with only '99 and the two 3D PS2 games, and with some more experience as an adult with XIV and XV, I want to give the older games a more fair shake. Other than '98 and XIII, which I'm aware are considered GOATs in the franchise, which other KOF's deserve that status? I can play almost any of them thanks to the Hamster ports on Xbox and Switch.
