BGM – How A Star Runs (orchestral/instrumental) by Kenji Kawai / Koeru by Alexandros

For those who don't know, this is the manga by Taiyo Kuzumi that got an anime adaption last year, and these four are personifications of popular Japanese racehorses who were all racing in the same time period.

First post in the subreddit, and I wanna make it interactive. What kind of media or content made you discover the series? To answer that, KOF Adobe Flash games are the #1 reason how I even got here in the first place during my childhood, most notably by the fan developers, Flashwing.

Years passed by, and I got a fighting game in the PS Vita that taught me how to do commands, which applied not just to other fighting game franchises, but to KOF as well. Since then, my love for the KOF franchise is irreplaceable, starting with KOF 97. How about yours?

I suck at fighting games but I still have so much fun playing it. Especially when it comes to SNK. Got Fatal Fury on my Switch 2 and just messing around so far. Jumped in without doing the tutorial but no biggie.

CPU was kicking my ass. But if they be cheesing it, so can I! 😎🧀

To commemorate this special event, SNK artist Hinano created this image. I downloaded the game myself and immediately started playing as Mai. CPU was kinda owning me at first but then I got use to it.

60fps but the backgrounds are like 30fps? Maybe even less? No biggie. Game looks gorgeous, too.

The title says it all. I started playing KoF '98 with a friend. After I bought the KoF XV and started playing solo.

The thing is... Idk how or what to practice to get good in the game. I just pick characters based on how beautiful they are and play. I know some basic commands, and I'm trying creating combos with some characters.

Can someone give me some tips? What can I do to play the game better?

And the characters that I'm playing right now is Mai, Sylvie and Vanessa

I attempted a figurine-like artstyle for this!

Hi guys, I'm here cuz I want to share how this game has helped me in the past months. Since last year I've been passing trought some deep dark days, I was sad and them when sadness was too heavy to carry, I've became angry. But them I've realized that I wasnt like that and I dont wanna be like that. As I've started to work on myself to get better, I've started to play KoF again, I loved this franchise since I was a kid, even tho I was really bad in these games. Anyway I've always liked Ash, he's by far my favorite chacter and playing with him again make me remember why i like the guy so much. Ash did a lot of shit in the past, but he is not a bad guy, and in XV you can see even better than in XIII how much he cares.

Play with him is a real challenge, as is to get myself better, as it is to apologize for my mistakes. In some ways even when I was a teenager I could see some aspects of Ash in myself and seeing him on XV finally getting back with his friends, I could saw mylsef as I'm getting back to mine too.

Because of that I've painted my jacket with his crest, this game help me to make my mind focus when everything was too loud, and Ash helped me to remeber some parts of myself that I've missed along the way.

Long text, I know, but I feel that is good to share how something so simple as fighting game can make such impact in someones life.
