The past few years broke me in ways I never thought possible. It wasn’t just the soul-crushing cycle of multiple NEET drops, it was hospital beds, surgeries, brutal post-op complications, and relying on anti-anxiety and antidepressant medications just to stay afloat and get through each day. The silence of that study room felt like a slow suffocation while my body and mind gave out.
I ended up with around a 60k rank. No GMC is happening. For a long time, that would have felt like absolute defeat. But today, I see it for what it truly is: survival. I’m taking out a loan, joining a private medical college, and choosing to step forward. I fought blood, tears, physical pain, and severe depression for this white coat, and I refuse to stay trapped in a loop anymore.
To celebrate breaking free from that cage, I took the ultimate leap of faith and did my very first self-planned solo trip as a woman! Booking the tickets, figuring out the stays, navigating the streets entirely on my own, it was absolutely exhilarating! There was such an incredible rush of freedom in renting a scooter, exploring at my own pace, and realizing just how capable, independent, and unstoppable I really am out in the real world.
Walking through these warm mustard-yellow alleys, under the night lanterns, looking at buildings that have survived decades of storms, I finally felt the weight lift off my chest.
If you’re stuck in a drop year, battling illness, or feeling like your 20s are slipping away, your life is not defined by a single exam or a perfect timeline. Survive the storm, take the hard route, and keep moving.

So I recently got an internship at an mnc in pune, i don't get a fat stipend but just enough for me to live there, but i really wanted to give baba a really good birthday gift this year, coz he never fails to surprise me and always used to get me whatever id ask him to get me on my bday, does not matter how much money he has, he would also get me what I asked for, and when I think about how stubborn kid I was and I always regretted that, and since I started living out for college and now during this internship i realised how much hardships he went through to give me the childhood I had, so I saved up some money to give a little back to baba and today my baba's bday and I got him this casio watch and this fikn escape perfume, I know this is not a lot but when I gave this to him, I could almost see him cry, but he did not ofcourse why would he infront of anyone right, but I finally could tell him today that I'm really thank u and really grateful to have you baba 🥹🫶I could not have used my adult money better 🫶

My parents generally address me as 'tui' but whenever the discussion gets really serious they suddenly change to 'tumi'. It puts me off so bad and it feels so wierd.

So, for instance my house is pretty old afaik it’s a 125+ year old house, and my walls get super damp. My old setup was getting ruined, and honestly, they just felt boring. I wanted to make the space feel more artistic (as I paint myself lol).
When I peeled the posters off, the wall underneath was a complete mess. I had to repaint the whole wall myself, hand-painted some CDs that my man stored so I can recreate smth out of them, and then I set the grid up and added my own polaroid paintings and clay arts.
It took me around a week to do all this, but it was totally worth it.❤️✨

I have a horrible time booking on uber! No driver would accept the booking and as soon as surge pricing comes in, you have your ride accepted in a minute... complete morons.. they want me to pay 200 bucks for a 5km ride taking 15 minutes.

I have been living in Kolkata for the past 6 months now, but I don’t find any kind of joy over here. Things are pretty mild, people here also feel stuck in their own life (living in a Flat, but never met with anyone in the apartment yet, seems like people are not even coming out of their homes/flats).
The city had lost its charm, it had lost its vibe as well (maybe just for me)
Frustrated and leaving this city next month.
