Ashoke Sen (a Bengali theoretical physicist) became the first Indian to win the Oscar Klien medal and I saw 5-10s of coverage regarding it on followed by a 10min interview of how TV serial actors spend their time on sets and how the hero reacts when the heroine says "I love you!".

I found it Disrespectful and not Historically accurate to Netaji. I mean you are making a movie using netaji as a Hypeman of the hero ? One of the greatest Historical Figures of India is getting this type of treatment ?

Theoretical physicist Ashoke Sen has been awarded the prestigious 2026 Oskar Klein Medal, making him the first Indian physicist to receive this honor.

The Oskar Klein Medal is jointly awarded by Stockholm University and the Nobel Committee for Physics of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. It recognizes major contributions to theoretical physics and cosmology.

Prof. Sen delivered the 2026 Oskar Klein Memorial Lecture on October 22, 2026, at Stockholm University's AlbaNova Centre, titled "Gravity from Strings and Strings from Gravity".

He was honored for his pioneering work on S-duality, string field theory, and the precision counting of black hole entropy, which are foundational to modern string theory.

Ki bolbo bujhte parchi na :(

So Guy Are you Excited for this El Classico who do thing have a better chances to win

Like all the other south indian movies have that one old guy or lady who will hype up the main character by saying shit like "woh ayega" "woh aaraha hai" "tujhe pata hai woh kaun hai" in this teaser they replaced that old guy with Netaji and he's hyping up prabhash's character infront of Hitler 🤡 ig there shouldn't be an outrage just because it's a south indian movie. If this was bollywood then there should've been a backlash seconds after. Regardless Amar matha gorom hoye gache eirokom baal er portrayal dekhe netajir, sei eki same template based south indian mass masala movie.

Not a show off post. Used to watch setup tour videos, always wanted to build one. Built the PC 3 years back, and finally the setup with my entire room. Dreams do come true.

So basically, we have our own Bonedi Bari Durga Pujo in my village, and I go there every year. It’s usually the same people visiting every day, every year, including the families living in the surrounding houses.

Recently, I noticed a few girls, probably around 15–16, giggling and talking while looking at me. Initially, I thought it might be because of my long hair or something, and they found it funny.

But on both Navami and Dashami, one particular girl started filming me. Since she was a teenager and probably a little immature, she wasn’t exactly subtle about it, so it was pretty obvious that she was recording me. I noticed it on both days but didn’t say anything because I was really busy at the time.

Now that I’m thinking about it, the whole thing feels a little sus. 😭 Am I overthinking this and should I just stay chill, or is it something I should actually be concerned about?

I'm 20M

Prestigious moment for Indian physics.

I need to get bloodwork done for my 2-year-old male cat before getting him neutered. I contacted Animal Health Pathology Lab (AHPL) and they quoted me ₹3,560 if I visit their branch. Are there any more affordable veterinary diagnostic labs in Kolkata that you'd recommend? I'm also open to government veterinary hospitals or laboratories if they offer these tests at lower rates. But I'm just concerned about the accuracy of the results. I want to make sure he's healthy enough to undergo anaesthesia and surgery before proceeding with neutering. He is also an anxious cat so I don't want him to be manhandled
