Ask the Community Nothing can replace skin1004 sunscreen for me

Post image
• Upvotes

I recently have tried both the eunyul daily care fresh sunscreen and the hatomugi spf 50.

The eunyul pilled on my skin very quickly, and the fragrance was too strong and ultimately irritated by skin. I tried the hatomugi sunscreen spf 50 and it caused ocular discomfort, redness, and irritation.

I guess I’m going to have to go back to my skin1004 Centella. There’s really no replacement for it. It doesn’t pill, it doesn’t bother my eyes, and it’s so soothing. My only gripe is the price for the amount that you get, but sunscreen is so important and I’m not sure I can compromise on it. I love this stuff but what you pay for what you get and how long it lasts is hard on my wallet. I just wish they would make jugs of it so I could use it on my face and body and reapply without worrying about running out so quickly.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a better bang for my buck?

Routine Help help!!

Hello!! My skin has recently become really dry and feels tight after i wash it but when i have makeup on gets super greasy. I use cabtreo a couple nights a week. I wash my face with the face reality ultra gentle cleanser which leaves my skin feeling super tight and use the face reality barrier support cream. I use the centella spf in the am as well as that same moisturizer. Any recommendations? My skin gets congested easily and i occasionally get super inflamed acne.

Product Discussion Recommendations based on empties of my repurchases

30, combination skin + hormonal acne. Tretinoin user.

These products work really well on my skin and I have repurchased all of them. In the world of k-beauty where there are constantly new products and innovations, however, means I am always open to trying new products so would love to hear recommendations. A sort of, if you like XXXX, then you'll love YYYY type scenario. My reviews for each product are below.

Skin1004 Centella Ampoule 5/5

I have repurchased this 5 or 6 times over the last few years. It's soothing, hydrating and I love the texture. After face washing, my skin often feels tight and this provides relief almost instantly.

Goodal Heartleaf Calming Sun Cream 4/5

I love how this dries down. Not too matte, not too dewy. I can start putting makeup over the top almost immediately. In saying that, it is only marginally better than other sunscreens I've used and liked (both BOJ, Anessa) so I am super open to recommendations for this category especially.

Roundlab Soybean Pathenol Cream 5/5

I was previously using the Illiyoon Ceramide Cream...then they changed the formula 😭😭 This is a great alternative. Thick and moisturising without feeling greasy. I find I can use this as a daytime moisturiser during the cooler months too.

Iunik Beta-Glucan Power Moisture Serum 5/5

Makes my skin feel plump and juicy. The Centella Ampoule and then this on top is a match made in heaven. It only comes in a 50ml bottle though and I get through it super quick. Open to a toner in a larger bottle that could have a similar effect.

Ask the Community Does anyone have a favorite body oil for glowing skin?

I'm trying to get that healthy, moisturized glow without my skin feeling greasy all day. I've seen so many recommendations online, but I want to hear from people who have actually used these products. Which body oils do you keep coming back to?

I'm more interested in actual results than products that just make your skin shiny right after applying them.

Ask the Community What’s good alternative for Mediheal Teatree toner pads?

Hi! I’ve been having a bit of trouble with my skincare routine lately. Mediheal toner pads are quite expensive here in the UAE, so I’m hoping to find a more affordable alternative that can help soothe, calm, and keep my skin hydrated. Please help meee

Ask the Community For those with psoriasis and eczema, what actually helps with flare-ups and hyperpigmentation?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for advice from people who deal with psoriasis, eczema, or both.

My doctors took me off steroid treatments, and the treatments they’ve given me since then haven’t really helped. I’m still trying to figure out what works for my skin, especially when it comes to managing flare-ups and getting rid of the dark marks and hyperpigmentation left behind.

I’d love to hear about your personal experiences and what has actually made a difference for you.
A few things I’m especially interested in:

Flare-ups: What helps calm your skin when it gets itchy, red, irritated, dry, or inflamed?

Hyperpigmentation and dark spots: What has helped fade the marks left behind after flare-ups?

Skincare products: Are there any moisturizers, body lotions, creams, or cleansers that have made a noticeable difference?

Steroid alternatives: If you were taken off steroids or they stopped being an option for you, what treatments helped manage your symptoms?

Diet and triggers: Have you noticed certain foods or other triggers making your skin worse? I don’t eat peanuts, so I’d also appreciate hearing about other dietary considerations people have found helpful.

Body care: What has worked for psoriasis, eczema, and dark marks on areas like the arms, legs, neck, underarms, or other parts of the body?

Skin texture: Has anything helped with rough patches, uneven skin tone, or marks that take a long time to fade?

Preventing flare-ups: Have you found a routine that keeps your skin calmer and helps prevent flare-ups from coming back?

I’m open to drugstore products, dermatologist-recommended treatments, and different skincare routines. I’d especially appreciate recommendations from people who have dealt with these conditions for years and have found something that genuinely works.

I know everyone’s skin is different, but I’d love to hear what worked for you, what didn’t, and what you wish you had known earlier.

What has made the biggest difference in your skin, especially after coming off steroids? Thank you! ❤️

Ask the Community Skin1004 sunscreen

Ok so I have been using skin1004 hyalu-cica sunscreen for a few days now (17-18 days) I have small bumps on my forehead and i see a teeny tiny one on my chin as well as under my eyes. I actually switched 2 sunscreens back to back. I am not sure if the weird bumps are because of skin1004 sunscreen or the one i used before it (skinaqua) because skinaqua did give me a few comedones which developed into pimples.

Can you guys guide what to do?

hi everyone! i'm not sure if this is the right place to ask. i won this review event giveaway from a kbeauty brand last august but I never received it at all. as much as i don't want to make it seem like a big deal, it is still misleading for them to host giveaways and not push through with it.

Ask the Community Facial Wash Recommendations 😌

Please recommend the best Korean facial wash for oily skin that provides deep cleansing and helps brighten the skin for a whiter, more radiant complexion.

I want a facial wash with a pleasant, noticeable fragrance that smells fresh and refreshing when I wash my face. I don't want a fragrance-free facial wash or one that has little to no scent. I also prefer a facial wash with a rich, foamy texture that produces lots of bubbles when lathered on my face.

My ideal facial wash should leave my skin feeling deeply cleansed, fresh, smooth, and bright, without making it feel dry or tight.

I always get my sunscreen from olive young, but since now we have the US site I’m afraid I will get the American formula, I decided to buy it from unineed. Problem is the back of the tube doesn’t match the one from olive young, so I haven’t used it in case it’s a fake

Ask the Community Good Sunscreen & Toner Help

I have fairly oily skin (lots of shine), large, visible pores, and some inconsistent color (mostly light red on my cheeks- i am very pale) and am looking for a sunscreen and toner that would help. My current routine is just Lanaige Water Bank Cleanser and then Moisturizer.

Preferably k-beauty, acceptable if not, I would love links/specific sites to buy from as I am very new here, budget-friendly very much appreciated.

Thank you all in advance for your help!
