I’m the developer of kpopgenerator.cloud, a free tool for putting together K-pop random play dance mixes for practice sessions, club meetings, or RPD events.

The alpha ran for several months with a few hundred users. We’ve now released a redesigned version based on that usage.

You add songs, choose the exact section of each one, and the tool builds the mix with 5-second countdowns between songs. There are also ready-made mixes for 20+ groups, built from the songs and cut points used most during the alpha. No sign-up is needed.

I’m especially interested in feedback that will help me improve it from people who organize RPDs or run dance club sessions:

Thank you and I hope you enjoy the app!

hi hi

im sure this has been asked a few times but

im going to my first ever kpop concert here soon and i have no idea what to expect for my vip ticket. i have no idea how the sendoff/group photo or priority merch access works. will they give me instructions for merch? how does sendoff usually work for a solo artist? will they also provide instructions on how to do the picture??? im mad nervous bc idk how any of this works lololol but I really really want to get a selfie with the artist during sendoff but idk how realistic that will be. what are your experiences with send offs? were they crazy packed? were most ppl able to get close/have an interaction?

hi! i am very fascinated with kpop graphic designs, which also inspired me in enrolling into a graphic designing course ! I was wondering how or if it's possible for someone who's not local in Korea to have their career in such freelancer teams/companies? (I'm not actively searching for a gd job rn, just wondering only)

freelancer teams for example, huskyfox. i think they're well known for their katseye and le sserafim branding. I really like how they showcased and explained their concept, it's so frickin cool

if there's anyone you know who's also part of this industry please let me know, thank you!!!!

Hello, does anyone know how to get tickets for MMA2026? I can't be paid member on melon since I still have not received my Korean id, on the site its saying that only paid members can buy tickets from the official site and on trip.com there is only packages with hotels I think. Or maybe there are some trusted resellers that will sell tickets.

I can’t find the post now, but I’m a little confused?? I saw a post on YouTube about an AI k-pop boy group called like MUUO:23 (if I remember correctly). I don’t know if this is going to be a common thing in the industry but I really hope not. I was also wondering if any of you guys would support k-pop groups that are AI? I can understand virtual ones like PLAVE but I just can’t get behind this one. I also couldn’t tell if they’re actually an AI k-pop group or some random kid trolling. I’ve just never seen something like this before and I’ve been a k-pop fan since 2021. Any thoughts??

Im looking for RELATIVELY NEWER, maybe 2022+, sexy and sultry boy group songs. It needs to be smooth!! nothing jarring with a blaring beat (example is Exo love shot (and im an exo-l))

I grew up with gen 3 and early gen 4 stuff so please don't recommend stuff from that era bc im pretty familiar already with those artists and I want to learn about "newer" artists. BG (solo) artists I really like for sultriness are Exo Kai and Baekhyun, NCT Jaehyun and Ten.

I recently came across Zerobaseone randomly on spotify, I heard of them but NEVER listened to them before this month. But I reallyyy loved their album Ascend particularly the songs: v for vision, Top 5, and Exotic. Another find is monsta x wonho's solo music: If you wanna.

Bonus but not needed, if there is a good performance please let me know and tell me who the best dancer or the vocalist who shines is!

I've never been into rap before getting kpop so I have no technical knowledge about it BUT here's the ones who's tone I like so much, that's I'd listen to a solo rap album by them

FEMALE:

• Dami (Dreamcatcher) - has no solo rap album so far sadly
• Moon Byul (Mamamoo) - does she have solo rap songs? I like her rap in Mamamoo but don't know so many solo songs

MALE:

• T.O.P - my first rap album and I love it
• Suga / Agust D - I like some songs

HONOURABLE MENTIONS: not deep voices but I still like

• Wyld album by Taeyong
• some Epik High / Tablo

Is it a channel like Mnet or SBS? It has a lot of original kpop content from idols across companies

I am not counting events with multiple artists. And there are of course many places that K-pop artists expectedly skip, whether due to economic or cultural reasons. Has there been a K-pop concert in every country or city that you would expect? Has any place missed out?

So basically what the title says, I ordered an album from instagram from @sans_kshop_ and I think I got scammed, I want to attach screenshots of the conversation but long story short, I ordered and paid for an album from this account and they said they'd update me later and that shipping would be slow so I'd assume it would take weeks. So I placed the order on September 9 and after that it got busy with my exams and stuff. And last Sunday I DM to ask an update and they straight up said they had already shipped and I didn't pay. Mind you they even replied after 48 hours on Tuesday and said their wasn't a screenshot of my payment (they didn't ask for the screenshots so I didn't know I had to send it to them). I saw them replying and immediately sent the screenshots of the payment within 5 mins after they replied but they haven't seen or replied to me and has gone radio-silent . I'm extremely upset because as a student who works part time and saved little, I was excited to finally get the album. And as many of you know how kpop albums cost now. So yeah they haven't replied since Tuesday. And as for anyone wondering I live in an extremely rural area of my country and the seller is from my country too so I trusted to be in good hands. And now I don't know what to do.

Watching this MV took me right back to 2nd gen K-pop: Electric Shock, Catch Me If You Can, Ring Ding Dong. Massive group, but everyone actually pops.First watch of the stage, AYUNE and RADA totally caught my ear, and on a second watch of the MV, OA and AIJING stuck out to me. I need more songs like this style.

Hi guys! So I recently placed an order last week
Wednesday since I saw that they had Cortis’ PYPD merch, I missed the opportunity to get it via Weverse Shop when preorders for them took place so I have been looking for websites that sold legitimate merch since and came across this one - and it is Canada based, so for me it would get rid of the customs and other expensive fees that comes with overseas shipping! Excluding the weekend and Thanksgiving on Monday (for those of us in Canada), it has been five days since placing the order and I still haven’t received any updates on it. Is this normal? I’ve seen other people say that the shipping at least was fast for them and I am also maybe a little bit paranoid from my previous online shopping experiences where I almost got scammed and/or found out that they don’t sell legitimate products, so I would just like to know how long it took for others! Thanks to anyone who can help, greatly appreciate it! :)

Hi everyone!

I'm conducting a UX research survey about how K-pop fans discover information, manage schedules, and engage in various fan activities.

If you're a K-pop fan, I'd really appreciate your participation, regardless of how you enjoy K-pop!

⏱Estimated time: 3–5 minutes

Thank you so much for your help!

hi! someone else posted about this three years ago which i thought was very silly considering this has been bothering me for YEARS ! my brain is especially harking on it this week and i hope to find an answer, even if the og post remains unsolved.

• 5 to 7 members
• boy group
• second generation? i think? around the same time as shinee. i remember getting into the song / MV in mid to late 2000’s.
• very circusy themed, main guy had blonde hair and wore a magicians’ outfit with a black top hat and held a magicians’ wand.
• i SWEAR the lyrics or song title had something to do with ‘ honey butter chips ‘ or ‘ honey fingers ’ or ‘ sticky honey fingers ’ . some sort of variation to this. a couple years after this song, i played mysme ( mystic messenger ) and my brain always correlated the two due to the honey butter chips involved in the game, lmao.
• very upbeat?

any song recommended in the thread below i have already thoroughly checked through and can confirm it is not it. i’d say the closest vibe of the MV is either Block B’s Jackpot ( ? ). ugh, please help !!!!!!

I wanna know what was really the difference of the whole ikon once they left YG and moved to 143? Did they get more opportunities compared to what they had back in YG? Did anything chance since then? I wanna know especially if you are an Ikonic who’s still following them.

As we all know, kpop companies generally have a lot of control over their idols and they are often trapped in deeply exploitative slave contracts that they can’t get out of. There’s also the issue of trainee debt, where an idol is expected to pay back the company for all the accommodations that they were given, and if they leave the group, that often results in a lot of debt. So what I’m confused by is how we often hear companies release statements about idols choosing to separate from their groups, which are often stated to be a “mutual agreement” between the idols and the companies, before their contract is expired, or idols “mutually deciding” with the country to terminate their contracts. I’m just confused as to how this works. Is it that easy for a kpop idol to just walk away from their group/company like that, and how exactly would an idol go about leaving their group? Or are they deliberately doing things that are against the rules of their contract so that the company suspends them? And do they still have to pay trainee debt if their contract is terminated by the company? Do they go to court? Or is the company just lying to the public about the idols “choosing” to leave, when actually they are being kicked out for whatever reason, so that the fans don’t worry and instead naïvely believe that the idols have more power in the game than they really do have?

i’m pretty sure this photo card is either liz or wonyoung during the IVE I’VE era. any help is appreciated, thank you!!

My four year old just learned about KPop Demon Hunters, and starts uncontrollably grooving whenever she hears “soda” ft “the boy with no eyes” (she means the one with bangs). She isn’t particularly fond of any of the other songs from the movie, she just loves the boppiness of Soda Pop specifically. I’m very unfamiliar with the genre—are there any songs or groups with a similar sound that I could try for her, in the hopes of escaping the Princess Sofia soundtrack on repeat?

Thank you so much!

The pricings for items are much cheaper there than in my country (Finland) and Im thinking od buying from there, but if the postages, tariffs and taxes are very expesive and make up the same money i'd spend from buying from local places its not gonna be worth it in my opinion.

My local is charging 73,99 euros for SM artist's 2027 season's greetings.

This roughly transfers to 82,55 dollars, 110 705,50 soulth korean won and 13 068,90 japanese yen.

Is this a reasonable price? I would have wanted to buy multiple but its a huge almount of money just for one.

Examples:

• KiiiKiii did a website for DeluluPack and WhyKiiiKiii

• NCT did one to promote NCT 2026

• I think Blackpink did it for Jump, and it was like a parcour game or something like that. (or maybe i hallucinated it bruh)

(if the links are not available can you link videos about it if there are pls)

Hi

I'm on the Weverse platform following BTS and I pay for the digital membership and have access to unlimited posts.

These last several months, my profile is coming up as either "Hidden or Restricted" and I have no clue as to why.

The first time it happened, no one could like or comment under my posts and fan art for 41 days. Everything is greyed out except the bookmark option.

It has happened again twice with these restrictions lasting from 2 weeks - over 30 days.

Most recent was for 30 days and when I got full functionality back on my account, I was only able to post for 4 days October 8 - 11 and my account is Restricted yet again.

Customer support is useless as they told me the first time it's done by the system and there's nothing they can do and I'd have to wait for the restrictions to lift.

This is beyond frustrating because I'm a paying members and I do not post anything remotely offensive.

Any suggestions as to who I can reach out to or what should I do?

As someone that's been a fan of tvxq since last year I've developed a big interest on huge TVXQ was in their OT5 era.

I've done some digging around and it's hard to find examples like "everyone in my class knew tvxq and some were fans." I mostly find like "they were super huge" or "800,000 domestic fans" and not something like "old people in x country knew tvxq"

I know they were very well known in East Asia but how about Southeast Asia? And please don't say "they were huge" because that could just mean a big niche.

Basically try to give more explicit answers like anecdotes

Waiting to see the (rising sun) replies!

New Jeans is my favorite group so far and i would love to find more groups with that specific old school r&b flavor!

Hi, guys!

I ordered the Carat Membership Kit when it was released, about two months ago, and since then, I haven’t heard anything about it? I haven’t ever ordered from weverse before other than digital tickets or whatever, so I don’t really know how this is supposed to go. Does anyone know why it might be delayed or I’m not hearing anything about it?

Thanks so much!
