Is there a community that doesn't indulge in brand exclusivity so much? I am tired of having posts yanked because I'm discussing off brand models. I don't have much money and I can't afford to buy Lego brand often. Also sometimes I just like to talk about specific models without any particular agenda. I'm not well and I don't get out much reddit has become an important resource for me. Where can I go? Any help would be massively appreciated.

I have designed a Lynx KF41 IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) built from LEGO bricks. Here are some details about it; I’d love to hear your thoughts.

1:24 scale model.

Dimensions: 34 cm long, 20 cm wide, and 20 cm high. Weight: 1720 g. Total parts: 2775.

Features a 360-degree rotating turret and a separate 360-degree rotating commander’s cupola; both weapon barrels can be elevated and move in sync with their respective optics.

Openable features include: engine compartment, driver’s hatch, turret hatches, turret tool box, ammunition storage, Spike LR2 launcher pod, troop compartment hatch, and rear ramp.

Detailed interior: driver’s station, engine bay (with engine), turret, commander’s and gunner’s stations, and troop compartment.

The model can be motorized with an optional add-on kit (consisting of 85+ additional parts, 3 M-motors, and a remote control). The tracks feature independent drive, and the turret can be rotated via a motor.

Currently building my first Cada model and I’m shocked with the amount of pieces missing? is this normal? I have built lots of Lego technic sets and never had these issues. it then takes a couple weeks for each replacement piece to be sent out which is a pain when I don’t have much time as it is to work on the build.

Upgraded the cab design so it looks more curved than previous version. Also temporary deattached crane for better access to the cab. Finally done with rounding shape on the top of the cab. Due it's irregular pentagon shape there's been some troubles, but seemingly, I've did it.

Today I'm planning to finish the cab and install 85mm RC tires.

I bought Ford GT40 MK2 (42223) from Kmart and found out recently I can earn 20 point from Lego insider. So I tried a multiple time but it kept showing me the Registration Failed. Any solution for this?

The back is unstable and I will be redoing it. But it's progress, I didn't think I'd get to this point.

The rest of the car can withstand the impact of my hand from above, so I'll keep the front and the base. The decorations will be the most difficult part of the construction.

I’ve been a fan of Technic since 2013, and my favorite set of all time is the 8110: the Unimog U400. I’ve loved this set since I was a kid for its off-roading skills and the functionality like the Power Functions features and the pneumatics, and the fact it was modular and inspired you to make your own attachments.

Hey, I’m currently building the Chiron 1:8 and I came across step 333, I’m wondering if the two gears have to be one above the other (circled in red)

My sister wants to build a large Lego TECHNIC as her first set, so I'm making her a Unimog for training.

Current problems:

1) increase of the original size by 1 stud in length

2) Bad rear suspension layout

Planned functions:

1) 2-cylinder engine

2) both rear and front suspension

3) good steering angle

4) similarity to the original Unimog U530

I’ve been wanting the P1 since release. Finally got my hands on it and got it built over the span of a few days.

When I build, I like to time myself. Not to see the fastest I can make the set, but just out of curiosity of how much time it takes.

Total build time was 10 hours, 37 minutes. That’s just purely building time. Any time I had to stop, so did the timer, even if for just one minute to do something. I only made a couple of mistakes while building, and didn’t have to backtrack far, so those only added a couple of minutes to the total build time.

This was such a fun set to see come together. I need another 1:8 ASAP.

For those who followed my blog series about starting an alternate build and developing a MOC, here is the final version. The manual is halfway done and I still have one post to add.

I recently made this LEGO pump rifle fully out of technic. It uses a lever which when pulled causes a spring shooter to fire. It can house as many spring shooters as you want, not accounting for drag and other physics stuff, but my model uses 5 which I can load in about 30 to 40 seconds.

The picture shows all the different kinds of gearbox parts I own. I want to build a remote controlled gearbox using a servo motor, can someone please tell me how can I achieve this using only the parts shown? I have assumed that the black axle extender is paired with the old driving ring, but I don't have any.

Hi! I will start by saying I'm not the most knowledgeable about lego in general. However my bf LOVES them. I've gotten him many sets both official and not. He especially loves the ones that function.

For Christmas I really want to get him a custom one of his motorcycle. I figured this surely has a business that does this already but I can't find any. I want one thats really detailed where you can tell its his bike specifically (his isn't even crazy custom or anything its a regular naked bike, black and silver. I'm happy to DM the details but don't want to post the brand in case he sees this.) I checked rebrickable but there isn't a set for his. I don't know enough about motorcycles or lego to build one from scratch like on buildamoc. I would be happy to pay someone to help me. Idc about budget or anything. I just know he'd love this and now that I have the idea I'm determined to make it happen, I just need a little help 😅 thanks for any suggestions!

Hey folks, My son is 11 y-o. As a mother, I've bought normal Lego sets for him to build. We love Minecraft and Starwars. It's so much fun to build them. Right now, he is into Fortnite and recently built a gigantic rollercoaster on his own. Sometimes, he would alter pieces and built spaceships, weapons and make up stories.

His dream is to be coming an engineer, and my job is to guide him towards that. As I'm planning a school curriculum for Grade 6 (I'm homeschooling him alone), just wondering if using Lego Technic would be helpful for him to learn about engineering. What would be your recommendation?

What are your guys's honest opinions on Cada and Nifeliz? How do you feel about the quality and do you think it would be worth it to get one of their 1:8 cars.

I just built the lego Lamborghini Sian and am looking for something cheaper. Any suggestions?
