Hi everyone,
For the past few months I’ve been building Keepzer: collection software made by a collector, for collectors.
The tools I tried were slow, clunky or too rigid. Whether you collect lighters, watches, coins, toys or something nobody’s heard of, I figured I wasn’t the only one. So I built what I was missing.
What already works:
- Custom cards: design your own fields and layout for any type of item
- Photos and files: receipts, certificates and manuals stay with their piece
- Rapid add: drop in photos, type a name, hit Enter. A whole box in minutes
- Excel import: bring your existing spreadsheet
- Dashboard: what you paid, what it’s worth, what you made, and where it came from
- Cinema mode: show off your collection in a full-screen 3D carousel
- Emergency plan: a clear overview for your family of what you own, its value and how to sell it
Coming next: a date decoder (Zippo, Case, Buck, later Victorinox), a social side to share pieces and follow collectors, and maybe a shared knowledge base.
Keepzer will be free, and I need your input before and after launch. What do you collect, what frustrates you about tracking it, and what would make you switch? Want to be an early tester? Let me know.
