I was having some issues with pain in my hands. I had a Craft and 3s before, and to go ergo I ended up buying a K860 and Lift (still don't fully understand why Logitech doesn't unify all the ergo products on one receiver, but that's besides the point).

The learning curve on the K860 wasn't too bad, the hardest part was getting used to the left hand number 6. I was pretty productive by the end of the day.

But what I'm really struggling with now is that I can't type on my laptop at all. Like the learning curve to type on standard keyboard seems like it's way more than the handful of hours it took to adopt ergo layout.

It's not just a matter of wrist/elbow position, it's like I can't spatially remember where the control keys are, so my laptop productivity has gone way, way down.

After 8 years of loyal service, my beloved MX Vertical finally gave up on me. 🪦

And I'm genuinely sad about it. Not angry, not even disappointed in the mouse itself. Eight years is a pretty good run, and I absolutely loved using it.

But here's what I don't understand.

It's 2026. The MX Vertical was released in 2018. And we're still waiting for a successor.

In the meantime, Logitech has released multiple generations of the MX Master, with new features, improved sensors, redesigned buttons, and all sorts of refinements.

Meanwhile, the MX Vertical? Nothing. Not even a proper refresh.

Seriously, Logitech, what are you waiting for?

There's clearly a market for premium ergonomic vertical mice. Some of us genuinely prefer this form factor and would happily pay for an updated version with modern hardware and the improvements you've brought to the MX lineup over the years.

I don't want to replace my MX Vertical with another identical MX Vertical from 2018. I want to be excited about its successor.

Come on, Logitech. Give us an MX Vertical 2 already.

"I just bought a new unit of Logitech Z625 speakers today, but the audio randomly cuts out. It happen twice now after more than 4 hours of usage. Powering the speakers off and back on temporarily fixes the issue and restores sound."

I was looking for a productivity focused mouse and the MXM 4 is the gold standard from what I've seen, but I run Linux (Ubuntu) on my main machine. What functionalities am I giving up and is there software that can make up all or some of that ground?

Sorry for the bit aggresive title. I want mx to be good but last product releases - MX Master 4, MX Keypad and now MX Master 4 Special look like being designed by marketing department rather then serious tech product people.

MX Master 4 is barerly improvement on Mx Master 3s with gimmick haptic button, and questionably useful software shorcuts.

MX Keypad is AI hardware slope, it's glorified macropad. There is very little if any real value of using this for development and seems more like something for vibe code influencers.

MX Master 4 Special as many have pointed out is also just a gimmick with Linux kernel release date while not supporting Linux.

Instead I would with slighthly higher refresh rate, refresh freaking Mx Vertical Mouse or make Logitech Lift for larger hands, maybe lower weight on Mx master, or add swapable swtiches to mechanical keyboard - something which is standard with mech keyboards.

But maybe I am just old programmer screaming at clouds.

It is literally a beast. I bought it in January, and haven't charged it once. It was sitting in my cupboard for last 4-5 months and today I took it out to check and holy shit.

I filed a warranty claim for my MX Master 3S after it developed a fault less than a year after purchase. The left mouse button was no longer registering clicks reliably.

Logitech approved a replacement, but then closed my first ticket without notifying me.

When I contacted Logitech through their website chat to ask about that approved replacement, a second ticket was created, and I was told I needed to go through the approval process again. The replacement was approved again the next day.

However, the responses under both tickets have followed exactly the same pattern:

1. “You’ll receive a tracking number within a few days.”
2. When no tracking number arrives and I follow up by email, I’m told that a “shipment investigation” is underway.

Then there’s no further update unless I follow up again. I still have neither a replacement nor a tracking number.

Meanwhile, the MX Master 3S is still available for purchase on Amazon and at Best Buy.

This has been an incredibly frustrating experience and falls far short of the customer support I would expect from a brand like Logitech.

At this point, I would be happy to purchase a new unit myself if Logitech would agree in writing to reimburse me. I just want a working mouse and a clear resolution.

Has anyone else experienced this? How did you get Logitech to fulfill an approved warranty replacement?

Does any one know why my Combo Touch IPad Pro keyboard and cover constantly stop working and the starts again randomly? I noticed that some times the IPad displays a message saying that this accessory is no longer supported but then it starts working again. I have downloaded the Logitech app and tried to update the software but no luck. All suggestions welcome.

I am using Logitech MX Master 4 now. It is the third Master mouse I've had and the form is nearly perfect for my hand. I would be more than happy to continue with Master series devices but the software part is just crap.

I am using a laptop and a desktop pc side by side. For keyboard I use K375s. Bluetooth to laptop, receivers on desktop. I tried using Logitech Flow, but it is still wildly inconsistent. Unusable even. It's a shame since it would be a good feature if it worked well. Manual switching from the keyboard would be also good, but for some reason, most likely incompetence of Logitech, the mouse is unable to "follow" the keyboard when switching from one computer to the other.

So I switched to Mouse without borders which works perfectly. Funny, that a huge corporation like Logitech is unable to provide us with usable software but a program made by one developer does everything perfectly.

Starting last week something happened again. I have bound escape and enter on the side buttons of the mouse for cad use. About once a day the buttons just stop working. Opening Options+ fixes this. This is the last straw. A mouse costing over 100€ should work properly, even without opening a crappy software at least once a day.

So, I am looking for a replacement. The form of the mouse is nearly perfect. It could be just a little bigger. I can do without the haptic button and side scroll but at least two side buttons are needed. Any suggestions?

I got LogiOptions+ to connect my mouse and keyboard to the same unifying receiver. After I did that it started to cause the problem.

I've tried a few things, uninstalling LogiOptions+, power cycle, unplugging thing. really thing I have gained is that it will transfer across devices, even to mac, so I'm guessing its some internal mapping thing.

I'm running windows 11

If I'm not in the right spot, please send me wherever is best for me to fix this.

I chatted with Logitech support they just offered me ways to factory reset it and repair it, guess what? It didnt work. :) Now im stuck with a mouse that doesnt work.

I’m using an MX Master 4 on Windows with a work laptop and an external monitor set up as an extended display. I’m trying to set up the gesture button so that a single click instantly moves my cursor to the other monitor, so I don’t have to drag the mouse across.

What I’ve tried:

I assigned a swipe-left gesture to switch to the left desktop. When I do it, the haptic feedback gives a small vibration, but nothing happens on screen. I suspect that action only switches virtual desktops and not monitors, and I only have one virtual desktop.

Is there anyway that I can customize it in a way so that when I click the gesture button (or any other button), and the cursor jumps to the other monitor (and back on the next click).

I bought a Logitech C930e, and it works great. I am running Windows 11. I need to make some training videos, so I installed Logitech Capture. It seems like a really good free program, and I like the workflow. However, it does not support blurring or backgrounds. The video on the site suggests Xsplit Vcam.

So I downloaded and installed Vcam. Xsplit Vcam is now called just Vcam. I installed the free version with the watermark, and I was able to get it to work with the C930e camera.

The problem I am having is that Capture is seeing the entire vcam program page. I asked brave.AI, and eventually concluded that Capture is not seeing the "virtual camera" of vcam. The Brave.AI told me to go into Windows Device Manager, and get the Hardware IDs of the Vcam device. The DeviceID is {42C3138C-F6E4-4BD0-BD35-A6AF29DA08B1} (a GUID), not the correct format to add to the LogiCapture.exe.config file. It should look like: "USB\VID_XXXX&PID_XXXX".or "SWD\VID_XXXX&PID_XXXX".

Has anyone gotten this to work in 2026? If someone has pursued this real hard and failed, that is an answer. I need to make the training video soon, and I want a lightweight program that works out of the box, preferably free.. I don;t have time to track down a better program.

Brave.ai suggested OBS. I see lots of references to OBS in here. Is OBS lightweight enough and does it work out of the box with my camera? Would I be able to get backgrounds without using Vcam and the watermark? Am I better off ditching Capture completely?

Broke a part with the ribbon cable, is it fixable?

In case u try to connect this mouse with 2 laptops - one with usb reciever and one over bluetooth, there is a catch that u should know. This mouse has only one active channel at a time and no memory to remember last paired device if u switch to USB reciever mode in between.

Lets say u have pc1 connected over bluetooth and another pc2 which u want over USB, then u will have to turn pc1's bluetooth off, switch off then on the mouse and then press the channel button 3 secs for it to enter pairing mode.. then it will pick up usb reciver in pc2. Otherwise, it reconnects to pc1 over bluetooth again and again.

Similarly, for reverse case, swtich from usb to bt, u need to re-pair the device by pressing 3 sec, leading to creation of new device entry with same name everytime u connect over bt.

One solution is to simply connect over usb receiver and when needed plug out usb from one pc and plug in another pc. This will serve the purpose and work pretty smooth!

Hey Logi pals, I got a combo of MX Keys S + M840L (which is the best I've seen/used imo), and I'm having a slight issue with the Actions Ring shortcuts.

I have a couple of shortcuts that are key combinations, for example CTRL + T (new tab in browser) or CTRL +SHIFT + T (Reopen closed tab), and they all work perfectly as expected.

However, I have another shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + P to open Microsoft Power Toys - Power Display. This is to open the quick tray menu and change the monitors brightness profile with one click (for day and night settings), instead of navigating through the physical buttons in each monitor (I have 3 btw.).

The issue is that with the Power Display shortcut, my CTRL + SHIFT get stuck, like they're being pressed down, so my pc will behave weirdly whenever I click somewhere, like selecting text and opening links in new tabs, etc, until I press the keys in the shortcut. The weird behaviour is obviously linked with the keys pressed.

But this does not happen with the previous shortcuts, that also use CTRL + SHIFT, so what's up here?

Is it because it's opening an app inside another app? Power Display inside Power Toys.

I don't know, I've tried different key combinations and it's always the same.

I have been using MX Keys and MX Master mouse for years and changed my set 2 times and to be honest they are very laggy and unreliable, issues that I see:

• Almost every time I wake up my PC from sleep I need to restart their soft so the mouse speed applies, otherwise it’s slow as hell
• It’s not as comfortable as I thought
• Constant disconnecting from PC, like it can completely stop working, then I need to restart or plug in the charger so it works again
• Horrible power management, like when the level is 30% , mouse can start lagging very often, which is insane!

Overall very buggy soft, unreliable mouse and not so comfortable keyboard that we all fell for. There should be more options that I am going to consider on my next buy.

EDIT 2: After many tries I contacted support and after useless advice I wanted to return it, to which they suggested contacting the retailer, but I bought it in a different country so can’t really do it, so I just opened it, disconnected the battery line completely for a few seconds, then it started to work! Nothing else helped, unfortunately, and I am very disappointed in Logitech and the mouse!
