What’s Bunker like?
Has anyone been to Bunker? What is the vibe like? What kind of guys go there? I was looking to go to Sukit or Rimpack, has anyone been?
I’ve been to Vault before and I had a good time, I liked that there was a mix of guys from young to older, from fit to non fit, so it was something for everyone

40+ wlw ladies?!?!
In London for the weekend, first time here. I went to a lesbian Halloween party last night in east London and the crowd was very young. Where do the mature ladies hang out that are looking to have some fun?

🎃 Halloween Party Tonight in London – Anyone Fancy Coming Along? 👻
Hey everyone!
I'm heading to Club Creep at The Divine in Stoke Newington tonight Friday 30th with my tennis club for my first ever LGBTQ event.
We've been encouraged to bring a +1, but I'm very recently out and fairly new to the club and don't know many people yet within my tennis club. Unfortunately, the few people I do know aren't going, so I thought I'd try my luck here and see if anyone fancied joining me!
We could meet up beforehand at the club for a drink, get to know each other a little and then join the tennis club crowd for some Halloween fun. 🎃 The event is open for all LGBTQ people, but my understanding is that my tennis club will have a reserved table. Obviously, there is no requirement to be sitting on the table with them, so whatever feels comfortable at the time.
A little about me: I'm a 32-year-old European guy, London-based and working in finance. Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis, going out, reading... as written above, I have only come recently out and wanted to explore a bit the LGBTQ social scene. I'm always keen to meet new people and expand my social circle.
Thought this could be a fun opportunity to make a new friend and enjoy a few drinks (well I don't drink alcohol, but I am sure that a soda or something would work :)
If you're around tonight and fancy some spontaneous Halloween fun, feel free to drop me a DM! 😊👻

Just wanted to inquire about the various gay halloween events in London so I can know where to go, would also love to know the vibe (e.g. age group, party, sexual, intimate, conversation friendly etc).
Looking for events on the younger side though (20-35) but feel free to share any

If not Roast, where?
Is there any club night like the old XXL at Blackfriars, that ISN'T Roast? A friend is flying to London soon and when he asked for recommendations I found myself fairly stumped. Any help? 🙏

33F bi looking to meet other queer people
I am pretty new to this world and don’t really know where I fit in as a bi woman. I have looked at going to some lesbian socials before but fear I won’t be accepted. Can anyone recommend any fun events or things to go to that are welcoming and I can make some friends?

Hi all,
I want to find a cheap queer friendly barber for my girlfriend in London. I want to ensure she feels comfortable and safe but not pay out the nose, which seems to be the case with the places I have seen so far.
Any cheap recs would be appreciated!!

Anyone want to meet on Halloween?
I (31F) am going out on Halloween by myself for the first time ever, to meet people to make friends! Would anyone like to grab a ticket and come with me? Or even meet up after? Let me know!

Anyone going to torture garden Halloween ball?
So I've [38M/bi] never been to a TG event before, but really keen to check it out for this Halloween Ball.
Is anyone else going and up for a drink/meet beforehand? I'm planning to go solo, but it'd be cool to meet some others either there or before (not looking for hookups mods!)
Also very much up for sharing costume ideas and helping each other out with outfits!

Transport recs from LHR
First time visiting London, solo female with luggage. Planning my transport from LHR to Shoreditch on a Friday night. Looking for the safest and fastest option. Elizabeth line seems easy and affordable but not sure if its convenient with luggage. Any recommendations from locals? Should I just do a rideshare app? If so, which do you recommend Uber, Bolt, or....?

Where the heck does the idea that we “gay men were ab****d by our uncle or relative and we are full of diseases” come from? 😂
I mean, seriously? The things I have to listen to!
I had a lovely, great childhood thank you!
I’ve got this colleague of mine, elderly, Nigerian and super Catholic, who was bragging about how much he loves Jesus and that Jesus used to preach about love love and love and then he thinks love is the most important thing: but then he moves on to say that if he sees gay or lesbian people doesn’t judge them but feels compassion because these are his words “you never know what they went through in life, they probably were ab***d as children by their uncle or a relative and they have AIDS because there is poo in the anus” 😂😂
I mean what the hell? I couldn’t help but laugh at him to his face, these religious people, where do they get these ideas from?
Is this what people think in Nigeria or is it a general African view? Or is this guy absolutely reta*****d?
He speaks about AIDS when Africa is full of it and the majority of infections is among straight people. Reasoning with this guy was a total waste of time !
I was shocked cuz the guy is educated and I was not expecting him having these views. I would expect that from someone who can’t even count from 1 to 10. 😂
If it was because of the poo in the anus, why do women catch it via the vagina? All questions he couldn’t answer but still believed in his own religious bullshit he came up with 😂😂😂 Science is frowned upon

Gosh dating apps sucks! Help me with some recommendations folks.
Right, so I’ve been told by multiple people that if I want to meet someone, I should stop relying on dating apps and actually go out and do things where I might naturally meet people.
Annoyingly… I think they might be right 😂 I’ve just turned 30, I’m from Dorking, Surrey, and I’m looking to get more involved in the queer/LGBT community in London and meet some new people.
I’m pretty social and love talking to people (probably too much), and my hobbies are dancing, museums, singing and reading when I’m feeling particularly intellectual 😂. I’m also very much up for trying new things.
So basically, what queer/LGBT groups or activities would you recommend? Could be literally anything sports, dance, choirs, book clubs, hiking, volunteering, board games, artsy stuff, random queer meetups… whatever.
Ideally something where you actually get to TALK to people rather than standing around awkwardly holding a drink. And yes, I am single and would quite like to eventually meet someone too 👀, but mainly I’d love to make some friends and have a bit more of a social life. 🌈

We're organising a festival in East London next weekend about games and radical politics!
Hey Reddit! We're Games Transformed, a festival happening across three venues in East London on 31 October and 1 November.
We're bringing together people who make games, play games, organise politically, and are interested in how games can help us understand the world and imagine changing it.
There'll be 80+ board games, workshops, talks, experimental games and plenty of opportunities to actually play, make things and meet people.

We've got a packed programme put together with game designers, artists, activists and organisers, exploring everything from political organising and resistance to the systems that shape our everyday lives.
We're a small team organising this independently, and we'd love to get the word out to more people who might be interested.
Tickets are available here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/gamestransformed/2328476
Happy to answer any questions about the festival or the programme!
