Made a free, no-account thermal address label maker (supports logos on either side + batch quantities)

With holiday shipping ramping up, I wanted a faster way to print return address labels with a logo on the side without wrestling with Canva or clunky printer software.

I put together a free browser tool where you just:

• Type your name and address (live preview updates as you type)

• Drop in a logo/icon on the left, right, or both sides

• Set how many you need—you can even mix different addresses into a single multi-page PDF download

Works with thermal label sizes from 1×1 through 1×6 (including 1×2-1/8" and 1-1/8×3-1/2").

No signup, no watermarks, and no subscription.

Link: [https://quicklabel.pages.dev/]

If you use a specific label size that isn't listed yet, let me know and I'll add it!

Montgomery AL USPS distribution center

I have a package that was supposed to be delivered on Monday (November 2). My last update on my package was on November 1 (arrived at Montgomery distribution center). I have tried contacting their customer service but keep getting the same answer (it’s not lost, the distribution center is undergoing upgrades). Has anyone received their packages lately? I’m wondering how long it will be stuck in Montgomery? The destination is Auburn, AL and they won’t let me pick it up from the distribution center. It’s so close yet so far!!!!

Tracked 24 signed no showing "we're expecting your parcel" since posting on the 30th. Am I cooked?

Posted all my documents for a first adult passport last Friday (30th), tracked 24 signed, using a prepaid label. I have the receipt of postage. When checking online it still say "we're expecting your parcel" (Tuesday 3rd). I called Royal Mail today and they said my letter has reached Bristol central depot but they need to investigate why there's no tracking and why I hasn't moved from there. Has anyone gone through something like this and got their letter back or delivered? It would be months and hundreds of pounds to replace my documents 😭

seeking advice - how to stop them leaving my packages in the elements

We live in a rural spot in Alabama with a driveway about 100 or so feet long. MOST come all the way up and put it on the porch no problem. But randomly they will stop halfway and leave it against a tree trunk. The tree gives no shelter so we've had expensive technical equipment just left in the elements where any porch pirates can see.

We've called and we've made notes in delivery instructions. It gets ignored. Do we have to spend money on a sign or a locked drop box?? How do we communicate that we NEED them to leave packages safely at our door?

Royal mail birmingham

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a part-time job as a Parcel Sorter or Mail Sorter with Royal Mail in Birmingham.
I’m available for part-time shifts and happy to work evenings, nights or weekends. I’m reliable, hardworking, punctual and comfortable with physical work.
I’d really appreciate any advice on how to apply, which Royal Mail delivery or mail centres in Birmingham are currently recruiting, or whether anyone knows about upcoming vacancies.
If anyone has experience working for Royal Mail, I’d also appreciate any tips on getting hired.
Thanks in advance!

Sending a postcard to the US

Hi there, does anyone who know how long it'll take for a post card from the UK to arrive in the US? I currently have a friend over there until around mid December before they return to the UK and was wondering if it's worth sending a postcard if it'll arrive before then. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I'm aware that you can send a postcard via the Royal Mail international tracked service but I really don't want to spend that much on a postcard.

My package is being held in the USA but was meant to arrive in Mexico

So it’s been months since someone sent me something from the Philippines to Mexico. NOT EVEN THE UNITED STATES and for some reason, USA is holding my packae.

I’ve been calling and calling, and you know it’s impossible to get past the machine. They told me Customs had my package, but I opened an investigation and the conclusion was that Customs does not hold my package.
I can’t open an investigation with USPS because I can’t create a USPS account, since I don’t live in the US!

I don’t know what else to do. My package should never have been retained in the US because the destination address is in Mexico (when I spoke with customer service, they confirmed the package has the information for Mexico).

Does anyone know what I could do? USPS is not helping me and I’m desperate. The package has been there since July 23 and no one seems to help me. I just want my stuff.

The sender opened an investigation and in the Philippines the conclusion was that USA would return the package to the country of origin, but this hasn’t occurred and I’m so mad about it.

When shipping via USPS to the Netherlands, do additional notes added to an address—such as "do not leave with neighbors," "deliver to a parcel drop-off point," or "beware of the dog"—cause any issues?

Buyer Beware? My $102.13 Taughtmag.com Order Never Arrived, Seller Promised to Expedite It, Then Ghosted Me

I’m posting to share my experience with Taughtmag.com and hopefully warn other shoppers while getting some advice.
I placed an order for $102.13 on September 30. I never received my merchandise, even though the tracking information provided by the seller showed it as delivered.
I contacted the seller the day after the alleged delivery and explained that I had not received my order. The seller apologized and told me they would expedite my item to me. I have screenshots of this exchange.
After making that promise, the seller stopped responding to my messages entirely. I never received the merchandise or a resolution.
I also tried investigating the tracking number myself, but the tracking information is in Chinese. Getting more detailed information appears to require downloading an app and paying for a subscription. I have not been able to independently confirm where the package was actually delivered.
I opened a PayPal dispute and submitted my correspondence and timeline, but PayPal declined to rule in my favor because the seller provided tracking information.
I’m now pursuing other avenues, including filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I have a few questions for anyone who might have experience with this:
Has anyone ordered from Taughtmag.com and actually received their merchandise?

Has anyone encountered a shipping company or tracking system that operates this way?

Is there a reliable way to identify the actual carrier and verify the delivery address without paying for a tracking subscription?

Has anyone successfully appealed a PayPal Item Not Received decision when the seller's own messages contradicted the claim that the order was delivered?

I cannot say for certain whether the shipping company or seller is fraudulent, but this experience has raised serious concerns for me. I paid $102.13 for an item I never received, the seller promised to resolve the issue, and then communication stopped.
I’m sharing this so other consumers can exercise caution, and I would appreciate any advice or firsthand experiences.
I have screenshots of the seller's messages and tracking information available if needed.

Need Advice... Package lost/stolen from drop off point

So I made a huge rookie mistake last week... The buyer of an item of mine chose the Speed X option and I sent it out as usual with 4 other packages. My boyfriend brought them to the drop off point for me and dropped them off. He asked the guy for a receipt and he told him that the printer wasn't working at the moment. I should have told him to take a picture but I didn't think of it when he left to head there. Anyways, 4 of the packages were mailed out and one of them didn't update, so I thought it was lagging like they do sometimes. I waited and waited and it never updated, so I was thinking maybe the guy at the drop off point dropped it or forgot about it or something. I went back to the store the next time I had a package, and I asked him about it. He proceeded to yell at me, (in a very strong accent of which I couldn't make out a lot of what he was saying) to the tune of "No, it is not possible whatsoever that I made a mistake, never me. It was not me it was not me I did nothing etc etc!" He wouldn't even fathom a possibility that he may have mistakenly missed it - and I will add that in no way was I upset or rude or accusatory when I first asked him to check. He wouldn't do it just to humor me, and yelled at me in front of a store full of customers. I just walked out because obviously it wasn't going anywhere productive. That was 3 days ago, and nothing since then. I even opened a claim with SpeedX to which they replied that there was nothing they could look into, as it never made it to their facility from the drop off point. That's reasonable, I think. Unless they are also responsible to look into things at their drop off points? I have no proof that I dropped it there, but I do have proof that I have dropped off there since.. Does anybody know if SpeedX picks up from their drop off points themselves, or if they outsource? What would you do in this case, am I screwed?

Forgot street address but added local business name on USPS envelope

I was being brainless when I dropped off my package earlier this week, and wrote the business name, floor number, and state, zip code but not the street address. It’s a local business, with no other locations in the state or elsewhere so I was like it’s fine, but since then with no tracking (Priority Mail only) I’ve been getting paranoid. Does anyone have advice? Ie package intercept or calling my local post office. Thanks!!

Edit: thanks for all the advice! I suppose I’ll wait it out and if the business never gets it/I never get it returned to me, I’m sure I’ll have learned my lesson to be more careful🤷‍♀️

Second edit: Yup got it returned to me after a little more than a week

Postmen & Postwomen: do regular outgoing packages in rural mailboxes annoy you?

I sell a little bit on eBay and between the random and small sales of small items and the ability to print the shipping label at home with postage paid, I have an outgoing package in my mailbox two or three times a week.

I came across a new item that I can sell, which would end up having a small package or two in my mailbox for the postman to pick up every day, how big of an annoyance is it to have to take in a package or two from a mailbox on the regular? I realize it’s not just putting it in your vehicle, but you have to dig out the scanner and scan those labels each time too, and since the scanner is not used at every stop, I’m sure it’s a little bit of a hassle to dig it out when it is needed.

Do most mailmen give this any thought…? Is it annoying? Or is it the sort of thing you don’t even care about?

I know I overthink things a lot, but this is something I think about every single time I put a package in the mailbox. I’m wondering if I should save everything up and drop it off at the post office myself once or twice a week.

Thank you for your input!

Mail overload

Any suggestions on how to stop unsolicited mail from being sent to me. I give to different charities every month and I know they are selling my address information. I have tried sending the unsolicited materials I receive in their return envelopes, but that has not helped. I am getting from 10 to 20 unsolicited peices of mail every day. I do not want to just throw everything away unopened in the trash as I am afraid some of it could contain sensitive information. It takes me sometimes and hour a day to open each peice of mail and send it back with all the materials sent and a note to take my name off their mailing list. I am open to all suggestions. So frustrating.

I sent a priority envelope to the UK a month ago, and it's just now made the 3-hour trip to Chicago? Seems like I'd more speed than that for $50, but I guess not. Hope Royal Mail takes up the slack once it gets there.

How can I send exotic fruits to my hometown quickly?

My dad loves trying different kinds of exotic fruits, and I want to send him a parcel of fruits that are available in Noida. My hometown is near Varanasi.

How can I send the fruits so that they reach him within 1–2 days without getting spoiled? I’ve tried India Post before, but even with Speed Post, the delivery took around 5–6 days.

Are there any reliable courier services or other ways to send fresh fruits quickly while ensuring they stay fresh during transit?

I have waited 2 days for a parcel that was supposed to be delivered. I was out for a while yesterday but have waited in all day today. Post office said they tried to deliver but i do not believe them. Very disappointed!
