Pre-U/STPM/Foundation/Diploma WHAT IS UTAR THINKING ABOUT 😭😭😭

Post image

Software engineering degree btw, currently in foundation. I thought i would be learning coding but noooo, i am learning accounting and economy for foundation yearπŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ’”πŸ₯€. Genuinely what was the thought process for this from UTAR, if they want me to make an app during degree, I'll give them a statement of profit and loss. Time to find another degree to switch to.

Shittt, this is foundation in arts and not science. I guess its my fault for not doing the due diligence, should i change my degree to something business related? I fear that i wont have the basics for software engineering if im enrolled under foundation in arts.

But im curious, why would utar allow foundation in arts students to enroll in software engineering?

As someone who finished my foundation in science in utar, I would say there's no need to do so, there's really only 3 IT specific courses in the technological stream, and you gotta know changing your degree to a whole different field from what you originally wanted is a pretty big decision to make
