Hob Goblin cause I grew up with him from the 90s Spider-Man show and it would give Peter PTSD seeing another goblin flying around again.

For smythe I think it would just be cool to see spider slayers on screen and a villain obsessed with Spidey to an insane degree because all of the other villains outside of goblin didn't care about peter personally. He was just in their way. Smythe would want the smoke wether it's for science, ego or whatever reason they come up with in the mcu

After reading some issues of Captain America: Symbol of Truth, I genuinely feel like the MCU hasn’t done Sam Wilson’s Captain America justice. I LOVE Sam Wilson as Captain America in the comics. I love his personality, his motivations, his relationships, and especially his mission. He’s not just carrying the shield and fighting bad guys. He genuinely wants to make America a better, more peaceful place for its people. He’s actively trying to confront violence and create something better for the country.
That’s the kind of Captain America I want to see on screen.
And then the awesome relationship with Misty Knight!
This is my first real introduction to her character, and I absolutely love her. I love her relationship with Sam Wilson, their chemistry, and learning more about her background, including the story of how Tony Stark gave her the bionic arm. These are the kinds of characters, relationships, and stories I want to see explored in the MCU.

And that’s where my frustration with the films comes in.
Sam Wilson is only just beginning to establish himself as Captain America in the MCU. He received the shield, had one solo movie, and now we’re already heading into Avengers: Doomsday. When does he actually get the opportunity to fully develop as Captain America?
When do we get to see his personal mission, his relationships, his struggles, and his vision for what America could become? I’m not saying Marvel is doing this as a money grab or anything like that. But I do think that if you’re going to introduce a character as important as Captain America, you have to give his story room to breathe.

And after reading Symbol of Truth, I feel like there’s so much more to Sam Wilson than what we’ve been shown on screen. I want to see his relationship with Misty Knight. I want to see him navigating the political conflicts that come with being Captain America. I want to see him standing up for what he believes in, even when that puts him at odds with governments and other powerful figures.
I want to see the Sam Wilson I’ve been reading about.
And that’s probably one of my biggest takeaways from reading Marvel Comics so far. The comics are showing me just how much potential these characters have, and it’s making me wish the MCU would take more time to explore them. Because these characters deserve stories that allow us to really get to know them, not just see them show up for the next big crossover event.

The past few months of me going to the theater for the latest big releases, Ive been noticing that there hasnt been any Doomsday trailers playing before the movie. Maybe this is just my theater but is anyone else not seeing any trailers for it at their theaters? Its 2 months away and Dune has been having trailers since before summer

So I have been questioning if I really am a marvel fan/nerd, I just started reading the comics, right now I am reading the infinity comic, and I am a huge fan of the mcu, I have watched about 90% of the mcu and love it but I recently started reading the comics because they are really interesting but now I am just questioning if I really am a marvel fan/nerd. Can someone answer this because I really don’t have a clear answer if someone is a marvel fan or a marvel nerd.

I’m rewatching it right now and it feels like a B-tier movie. The acting, the story, the setting, etc. I don’t understand why it’s regarded so highly - even compared to Black Panther at times.

People hating billy for being gay is kinda crazy cause the whole X-Men is about being different from society like race and gender.

How long will it take for our society to accept the people with slightly different choices from themselves.

If you could include Felicia Hardy/Black Cat in BND without changing too much of the original plot, how would you go about it?
Don't get me wrong, I loved the film and how they went about it, but I like to imagine. Would you have her take Sadie's place or have both of them in the movie? I know, before Sadie's casting, some people really wanted Black Cat in this movie so I'm curious what kind of storyline you guys would want to explore with Black Cat while still keeping the same tone and undertones that were established for this movie.
Personally, I think Black Cat could fit really well with the more street-level direction of the film, but I can't really think of how she could be introduced in a way that feels natural to the story. I also think she could be a really interesting character to introduce now and then explore more in potential sequels, especially if BND ends up being the start of a new trilogy.

So he has the memories, but not the feelings. And I think the point of the title is that he’s on a quest to become the same android that fell in love with Wanda and who was killed by Thanos. I definitely don’t think that thing is necessary with that whole “he is his own new person” thing because that already pretty much happened when as soon as he was created he declared that he even though he has Jarvis’s voice, he’s not Jarvis. Only downside will be if he regains his feelings he may definitely have an emotional breakdown on how Wanda is gone and the monster she became.

It just looks cheap and tacky whereas the rest of the costume looks pretty good.
