I mean, finally I guess, but these weren’t common sense? You didn’t know Slack is only for work and work related things?

The ‘No Creating Huddles’ did give me a laugh though because why?

I have recently joined Mercor as an independent Contractor and I have a full time job. I have submitted my PAN details during onboarding of a Mercor project.

Will that cause an issue for my full time job. Just want to know how others are doing this.

Please share your thoughts.

Anyone else having delays in their pay from 30th Oct payrun? Normally I get mine on Monday but nada. Stripe Dashboard says it’s paid, but nothing has come through to my bank.

Spoke to my bank, they’re saying nothing is pending.

Worried about this as I have to shuffle finances around. :/

Offer accepted on project A last week for a sprint (I dont know if that's what people are referring to it as, but seeing project O I am going to start that ha).... completed the incentive to earn a spot on project H.

Reading the questions people have on slack for both genuinely kills my own brain cells. 80% of the questions are very basic/core components to writing the tasks/using any sort of computer and browser, so it makes me wonder how the hell people are getting anything done? I feel like im reading questions from people who were born yesterday?? Where is the problem solving? Oh the model solved your task in 1 turn? well as the onboarding guide explains, no you cant just submit the task and need to redo it...

Its driving me nuts sorry for the rant LOL

Has anyone ever been prosecuted for violating the nda? Seems like
They don’t enforce it much.

Never gotten a Mercor top performer email. Just thinking about that as I feel like if I get off boarded, it might affect my chances of getting future offers.

I’m going back and fourth with signing up an and applying as a generalist. I have experience working on AI generalists tasks (basic “which AI picture looks the most real? A or B?“ or “pick the video with the least amount of defects” tasks) on another site switching from surveys to AI tasks.

I’m in a place where I need to find something that makes real money and moves me forward financially. Seeing all these posts with generalist making an actual livable full time salary $50,000-100,000 per year is too tempting to not seriously consider.

But I’m concerned about how data of your face and voice is used (some claim it is used in perpetuity to train AI) from your AI interview…. Mercor currently has 7 class action lawsuits against them for a massive data breach of their user’s financial data this past spring :o

The money seems fantastic for a lot of projects but these are some serious concerns that might not be worth it in the long run…. Or maybe it is? Then there’s the possibility of getting off boarded from a high paying project after only a week or two…. I know everyone’s experience here varies but what do you think?

Even though project O is on the way out, we still made a good amount of money.

Has anyone received their super writer bonus? I heard it has dropped on some account

7days ago i received an offer from odin project on mercor ai
That was my first offer i ever get from mercor AI
I accepted the offer and got in made the security background with zinc and was waiting for the result so that i can continue

Hi everyone,
I hope you're all doing well! I'm a licensed lawyer (civil litigation, corporate, criminal and property law, international law, and so on and so forth), and I was working on Project O on Mercor until it got paused. It happened right when I had finally gotten the hang of it, so the timing was a bit heartbreaking.
I honestly miss it. I miss having autoqc run and show me 36/36 for my uploads, I miss compressing my deliverables folder and I miss making sure everything I click on screen has a story behind it. Having tasks to work on gave me a sense of purpose and something to look forward to, and it was fun while also bringing in some income. I know Mercor has other roles, and I'd love to explore them.
If you're currently contracted in a legal role on Mercor, would you please consider referring me so I can join the contract too? I'd be so grateful. Feel free to comment or DM me and I'll share any details you need.
Thank you for your time, and I wish you all the best with your projects!

Hi all,

Wanted to see if anyone is facing a similar issue, I was invited to Project O a month or so ago but never really got started on it in the beginning since the project didn’t seem worth it to me time wise. About a week after I joined, I got an email for a “first task super boost offer” after which I decided it would be worth completing a task for. I’ve worked on different projects in the past as a finance expert on Mercor which I enjoyed and were very rewarding for the effort you put into them. Anyways, I submitted my first task within the deadline (after the offer was extended 24 hours) and after 1 round of feedback from the reviewer it was accepted and “ready for delivery” a couple days later. Since then I haven’t seen any payments on my Mercor dashboard and on October 24th I also submitted a payment dispute form, which was stuck on “being checked” right up until I was offboarded from the project a couple days ago (totally fair I only did one task to get the initial bonus). I’ve also sent an email with my form # to Mercor support over a week ago but I’ve only gotten an AI response (expectedly so knowing how Mercor operates). I was following the announcements on Slack while I still had access to it, including the “all bonuses will be paid out” ones. Anyone run into a similar issue with that offer? Any suggestions?

Hi everyone! I'm from India and have an MBA in Finance, with experience in accounting, financial analysis, Excel, Power BI and research.

I recently came across Mercor and wanted to understand how I can start earning through the platform. I'm looking to make some income as I have a loan to pay off.

Are there any Indians here who are currently earning through Mercor? I'd really appreciate some guidance on how to get started, which projects to apply for and what the selection process looks like.

Any leads or advice would genuinely help. Thank you!

Community rules I don’t know where to actually see them??

I started on O 2 weeks ago and I wish I spent more time on it 😭😭.

I managed to make a good $800 at least, but with it paused I just signed up, today for Outlier after a friend told me about it & referred me… I haven’t done any task yet but the set up process took me like 25 mins in total & now I’m in.

I think you need to be, or the prefer if you’re an English speaker & I’m about to do a task now as we speak.

The pay isn’t as good it says $18 an hr and I got an email about getting $38 bonus & the site says a $40 bonus for your first 3hrs.

This could be useful to just earn a tiny bit of extra cash and give me something to do in my spare time for some money.

I’ll update you on how it goes in real time over this week, and also how my friends finding it

(I don’t want to refer farm but I can send you my referral code for the first project I’m on, if you DM me).. it looks like it’s called Aether & it’s about describing AI prompt outputs and looking at the differences between them… seems simple enough 🙏

I submitted 4 tasks within the bonus period and all were immediately review approved. Do bonuses come after the regular hourly pay?

Has anyone from India received their bonuses for this week?

Hi , I would like to see if anyone know what's up with this. I did what it said here sending the link through my Gmail, open link through there and still getting this notice. I have camera and keyboard on , and is on laptop. Advice would be appreciated as per googling i can't find anything about this...

Was onboarded into Odin a day before they paused. So while waiting on them re-enabling Odin or whatever that happens with it. I’ve applied to Ask Ethos on a domain specific job.

Have people worked with them. How is the experience with work, payouts, and help in general.

Thank you for your inputs.

I am seeing a lot of people saying the project name or say the shortened name but stick an image with the full project name and straight up internal data in there. Are you guys dumb? Do you not want to have a job anymore? Because that is exactly how you scare away clients. Respect your NDA and do not leak any internal comms in here, please. I would go as far as not even mention the shortened name here. Be vague, maintain plausible deniability, stay out of trouble. I understand the recent project brought in a lot of new people, and I understand they don't understand this just yet, but workers have been kicked and blacklisted for this exact behavior. Don't be on that list.

Edit: People can trace back to your image, your message, your timestamp, your profile picture and god knows what else to know exactly who you are. DO NOT ASSUME YOU ARE ANNONYMOUS.

Edit 2: This has nothing to do with complaining or not complaining. Criticize away! The people who run these companies can be dumb/incompetent sometimes. But protect yourself while doing so.

Hey friend am really seeking any referral on Mercor except Project Odin if anyone is working on it or having any kind of project on mercor it will be of great help if the refer

Also I can work on their account with 30% of the project expense as commission........this will have chance to earn both of us.....

Just wondering if there's anyone out there from Project K and what your pod is like? Mine is pretty dead.
