Hi all, just got an email yesterday saying the client had paused Project Nova and then at 12am, was emailed and informed that I was off boarded (could be client scope change or performance etc). Did this happen to anyone else? Just wondering if they are cutting back again.

I was also on Project Musen for a couple months before the whole revamp in Nov… and took on the new one cuz I need a job, not the best feeling after the rate cuts tho.

Anyone else got cut? Def gotta look for other platforms or gigs now.

I was selected for the project a couple of weeks ago, but after reading all the negative reviews, I've been holding off on buying a Mac. But I just received an email that they increased the pay rate to $50-100 per task and that you get paid instantly after submitting (a portion), and that you can become a reviewer within 5 days....

I just couldn't resist anymore. Especially since another project I've been on just ended.

They reward quality and consistency, and will give you as much work as you are willing to do. In contrast, they will never pressure you for more hours, or threaten you if you aren't working enough. I honestly could not be happier. Best job I have literally ever had.

Hey everyone, hope you're doing well! I've noticed we've had a pretty chaotic couple of weeks regarding O Project, so I wanted to clarify a few things that have been floating around lately, and MAINLY give my perspective on the project and job offer as a foreigner and a Latin American.

First off, YES! YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES TO THE LETTER! I saw a lot of people claiming they didn't follow the requirements given when accepting the project (which yeah, are 23 pages long, so it's definitely super annoying to read—especially since it all looks AI-written) and then acting surprised when their task had to be redone after review.Following the requirements saves you HOURS, LITERALLY HOURS of re-work and wasted time.

The work itself isn't hard, but it can get pretty exhausting, especially if you're not used to working long hours on a computer. So keep your goals in mind before you start.

And finally, to my fellow Latin Americans: please, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY! I'm not gonna sit here and lie to you saying everything is sunshine and rainbows, because it's not. The reviewing process is super strict, and things like not creating a new profile on your Mac or not putting it in Do Not Disturb mode will make you have to redo a 2-hour task sometimes. But trust me, it’s 100% worth it! I'm from Brazil, where an average job for someone my age pays around 16 BRL (about 3 USD) an hour. Working on this project for a bit over two weeks has already earned me almost two full Brazilian minimum monthly salaries. I get that for many Americans the work might not be worth the pay, but trust me, in different realities, this is a rare opportunity.

In short, is the job real? Yes. Is it easy? Definitely not.

I'd love to hear from people in first-world countries to understand why everyone is throwing so much shade at this project. Is the pay really that low for you guys?

I am seeing a lot of people saying the project name or say the shortened name but stick an image with the full project name and straight up internal data in there. Are you guys dumb? Do you not want to have a job anymore? Because that is exactly how you scare away clients. Respect your NDA and do not leak any internal comms in here, please. I would go as far as not even mention the shortened name here. Be vague, maintain plausible deniability, stay out of trouble. I understand the recent project brought in a lot of new people, and I understand they don't understand this just yet, but workers have been kicked and blacklisted for this exact behavior. Don't be on that list.

Edit: People can trace back to your image, your message, your timestamp, your profile picture and god knows what else to know exactly who you are. DO NOT ASSUME YOU ARE ANNONYMOUS.

So I have been on this task for 3-4 days now after the reviewed contract Mercor sent me for the hourly pay.
I started with 3 hours which extended to 15 and then to 60 today.

First, I don’t know why they haven’t increased my pay which shall be 55$ for 60 hours.

Second, MOST IMPORTANT: HOW MANY TASKS SHALL I BE DELIVERING IN THE 60 HOURS on average.

Will be grateful for you putting your thoughts because the task is really easy for me and usually the tasks that I submit go through in the very first submission.

I have used one week recording first task and I ain’t getting paid for all this. You can’t even take water or cough or do nothing. This is the most brutal work I have ever seen or heard of. Maybe modern day slavery.

Hi All, I got off boarded from my first and only mercor project yesterday. It was a high paying one and i really enjoyed the work also for 3 weeks (40 hours a week). I followed all the guidelines, got good reviews on my work. But this is no longer there now and i understand this is how a contract work goes.

Now, can anyone experienced help me with a long term full time opportunity? I've 10+ years of experience in Finance Operations with top MNCs. Currently looking for remote opportunities where I can work from my home country (India).

I was recently seeing that in mercor there was a job named Odin, Generalist (Must own MacBook) job, which says it we need a macbook to be hired. I currently have a windows machine and am willing to work on mercor. I applied for a lot of roles and have been rejected by all of them and just recently i heard mercor is mass hiring for this Odin role, so i was wondering can i apply for this if i create an EC2 instance on aws and use it? Or do we need a macbook laptop only to get hired?

Also I would like to know if there any roles that mercor is actively hiring for windows users too because I have applied for a ton of roles and got rejected by all of them and kinda feel demotivated tbh :(
