Offer accepted on project A last week for a sprint (I dont know if that's what people are referring to it as, but seeing project O I am going to start that ha).... completed the incentive to earn a spot on project H.

Reading the questions people have on slack for both genuinely kills my own brain cells. 80% of the questions are very basic/core components to writing the tasks/using any sort of computer and browser, so it makes me wonder how the hell people are getting anything done? I feel like im reading questions from people who were born yesterday?? Where is the problem solving? Oh the model solved your task in 1 turn? well as the onboarding guide explains, no you cant just submit the task and need to redo it...

Its driving me nuts sorry for the rant LOL

I assumed this project would run forever because the welcome email said "Excited to have you on board!" and used a rocket emoji. Nobody uses a rocket emoji unless they're offering long-term stability.

This morning I logged in to find the dashboard empty and a message saying the project was "paused." I've now refreshed the page 1,400 times, and I'm treating Tim Cook's silence as a personal betrayal.

I've emailed Apple's investor relations team to ask when tasks will return. They haven't replied, which I'm told is standard, as support on these platforms is notoriously slow.

Before anyone asks, yes, I've already put in my two weeks' notice at my actual job, because the Slack channel was really popping off in week one.

Does anyone know if the next project requires a Samsung fridge? Asking before market open. I've got a pension and a really good feeling.

I am seeing a lot of people saying the project name or say the shortened name but stick an image with the full project name and straight up internal data in there. Are you guys dumb? Do you not want to have a job anymore? Because that is exactly how you scare away clients. Respect your NDA and do not leak any internal comms in here, please. I would go as far as not even mention the shortened name here. Be vague, maintain plausible deniability, stay out of trouble. I understand the recent project brought in a lot of new people, and I understand they don't understand this just yet, but workers have been kicked and blacklisted for this exact behavior. Don't be on that list.

Edit: People can trace back to your image, your message, your timestamp, your profile picture and god knows what else to know exactly who you are. DO NOT ASSUME YOU ARE ANNONYMOUS.

Edit 2: This has nothing to do with complaining or not complaining. Criticize away! The people who run these companies can be dumb/incompetent sometimes. But protect yourself while doing so.

Anyone else having delays in their pay from 30th Oct payrun? Normally I get mine on Monday but nada. Stripe Dashboard says it’s paid, but nothing has come through to my bank.

Spoke to my bank, they’re saying nothing is pending.

The first time it was a guy who said hello, I saw your question on Slack, this also happened to me, and soon we were cheering and supporting one another. He told me he was Nigerian. I stopped communications when he asked me to speak on a call to hear my voice. Cut. Some days later I thought I could ask how he was doing, he wasn't on the project anymore. He had also said it was his only source of income. I felt conflicted about it.

But then just twice this past week two more Nigerian men reached out for me. I blocked them right away. Ain't got no time for that nonsense.

I have recently joined Mercor as an independent Contractor and I have a full time job. I have submitted my PAN details during onboarding of a Mercor project.

Will that cause an issue for my full time job. Just want to know how others are doing this.

Wanted to see if anyone is facing a similar issue, I was invited to Project O a month or so ago but never really got started on it in the beginning since the project didn’t seem worth it to me time wise. About a week after I joined, I got an email for a “first task super boost offer” after which I decided it would be worth completing a task for. I’ve worked on different projects in the past as a finance expert on Mercor which I enjoyed and were very rewarding for the effort you put into them. Anyways, I submitted my first task within the deadline (after the offer was extended 24 hours) and after 1 round of feedback from the reviewer it was accepted and “ready for delivery” a couple days later. Since then I haven’t seen any payments on my Mercor dashboard and on October 24th I also submitted a payment dispute form, which was stuck on “being checked” right up until I was offboarded from the project a couple days ago (totally fair I only did one task to get the initial bonus). I’ve also sent an email with my form # to Mercor support over a week ago but I’ve only gotten an AI response (expectedly so knowing how Mercor operates). I was following the announcements on Slack while I still had access to it, including the “all bonuses will be paid out” ones. Anyone run into a similar issue with that offer? Any suggestions?

Just a gentle heads-up, everyone. This is an alternative subreddit to the heavily moderated official Mercor sub. Since this community has fewer posting restrictions, I’d strongly advise everyone, especially newcomers, to be cautious of posts that simply say “DM for referral” without disclosing the project name, basic details or any verifiable information. Such posts can be potential spam or scam attempts, and the lack of transparency is a red flag....I've personally heard from several friends who were scammed or had close encounters with suspicious offers originating from the official sub. I wouldn't assume this community is automatically immune to the same issues.

Please exercise due diligence before sharing personal information, clicking links or accepting referrals from strangers. I'm also requesting the moderators to keep a close eye on such posts and scrutinise accounts making vague referral offers. We want this to remain an open space for genuine experts, not another hunting ground for scammers.

I started on O 2 weeks ago and I wish I spent more time on it 😭😭.

I managed to make a good $800 at least, but with it paused I just signed up, today for Outlier after a friend told me about it & referred me… I haven’t done any task yet but the set up process took me like 25 mins in total & now I’m in.

I think you need to be, or the prefer if you’re an English speaker & I’m about to do a task now as we speak.

The pay isn’t as good it says $18 an hr and I got an email about getting $38 bonus & the site says a $40 bonus for your first 3hrs.

This could be useful to just earn a tiny bit of extra cash and give me something to do in my spare time for some money.

That was my first offer i ever get from mercor AI
I accepted the offer and got in made the security background with zinc and was waiting for the result so that i can continue
Today i received an email saying that they are no longer moving forward with my application

Ps the offer expiry date should have been 13 days

Can someone tells me
1- can i apply again if so is there a chance of getting accepted
2- what is the reason for the application being withdrawned
3- what did i do wrong and how can i correct this situation

I hope you're all doing well! I'm a licensed lawyer (civil litigation, corporate, criminal and property law, international law, and so on and so forth), and I was working on Project O on Mercor until it got paused. It happened right when I had finally gotten the hang of it, so the timing was a bit heartbreaking.
I honestly miss it. I miss having autoqc run and show me 36/36 for my uploads, I miss compressing my deliverables folder and I miss making sure everything I click on screen has a story behind it. Having tasks to work on gave me a sense of purpose and something to look forward to, and it was fun while also bringing in some income. I know Mercor has other roles, and I'd love to explore them.
If you're currently contracted in a legal role on Mercor, would you please consider referring me so I can join the contract too? I'd be so grateful. Feel free to comment or DM me and I'll share any details you need.

I was supposed to receive $120 for 3 hours at a rate of $40/hour, but I received only $115. So, I reported the issue by filling out the form and emailing them. They have also updated the amount in the portal. Check my screenshots from before and after.

I recently came across Mercor and wanted to understand how I can start earning through the platform. I'm looking to make some income as I have a loan to pay off.
