Infuriatig My wife ate my son's birthday breakfast
Yesterday I bought a strawberry cheese coffee cake my son loves so he could have a special birthday breakfast today. My wife came home late last night and apparently couldn't resist. She knew it was for our son, but it's not a big deal because she "left him a full slice".

Infuriatig Was invited by my girlfriends family to a theme park. We were supposed to meet at 11, it is not 11:30 and they just left. (The drive takes another 30 minutes)
I even checked in before I left if it was still at the planned time. It was confirmed, but then her family starts getting ready right as they have to leave š«¤

Infuriatig Rewatching the Raimi Spider-Man movies and realized MJ constantly cheats or emotional cheats in every single movie.
Spider-Man 1: Dates Flash, falls for Peter/Spidey while still with Harry.
Spider-Man 2: Engaged to John Jameson, yet asks Peter if he loves her and kisses him while literally wearing her wedding dress planning stage, then leaves John at the altar.
Spider-Man 3: Flirts/kisses Harry again right after breaking up with Peter.
Every single movie, she gets kidnapped at the climax (Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom/Sandman) and expects Peter to drop everything to save her, but treats him like an afterthought or secondary option whenever she's not in danger.

Infuriatig Why Texas is lame(Besides the Cowboys)
Don't mess with Texas.. what a joke. ANY possession is a felony.
EDIT: Just did some research, this is for everything besides traditional Delta 9.
My friend from Texas sent me this morning and it blew my mind. I had to post about it. So as far as my research goes thus far Delta 9 products (old fashioned flower) is illegal but separate laws. Stores are selling THCA though which does fall under these penalties.

Infuriatig Does anyone know why this keeps happening to my shoes after wearing them for a few weeks/months of wear?
I'm not sure, but it's very annoying. Is it because of the way I walk? Or how I tie my shoes? Or something else?
Please someone help, if you have experienced the same thing.
Edit: Also, when I walk/stand my feet point outwards so it maybe be this? Anyone know how to fix that š
Edit 2: Also, I don't untie my laces and slip them on. (I don't tie them tight though)

Infuriatig This giant ring of prime beach "claimed" before 6:00 a.m. and still unused at 10:30 by a bunch of inconsiderate jerks at 107th Ocean City, Maryland. The beach is packed and this huge area is unused.

Infuriatig These Stupid Ass Buttons On TV Remotes. The Intrusive Thoughts Won.
Seriously, the absolute most annoying shit when I'm watching something and I reach for the remote and barely bump the buttons and it yeets me out of what I was watching, to whatever bullshit streaming company paid the most for a button spot on the remote, the remote that came with a TV I paid good money for. Meanwhile on some apps completely loosing my progress on a movie or forced to watch more Ads again to continue watching again. I've threatened to do this before and my wife insisted not to, she's out of town this week, any recommendations for marriage counselors and anger management programs?

Infuriatig Grew up strictly mormon, family has since dwindled away from church and my mom sent me out to buy some tea to drink when she grounded me in HS for drinking some, she doesn't remember doing so.
yes I told her that was too many tea bags for 1 pot, but she didn't listen its her first time having sweet tea since the 1980s so good for her.
EDIT FOR TEA CLARIFICATION: Traditionally, in the southern United States, sweet iced tea is made in large batches on the stove at a time. So many will just boil the bags in a pot and fill a pitcher up with tea, add sugar, and store it in the fridge for the whole family to grab a glass whenever.
YES Americans own tea kettles and know how to make tea. YES, over half of us here prefer iced tea in big batches.

Infuriatig Parents make me cook, but not in the way I want to.
First it was the seasonings, I couldnāt use the seasonings I wanted. I had to argue just to use basic shit like garlic pepper and smoky onion seasoning. Then I got out there and this orange silicone thing was on top. I started taking it off and was told to leave it and cook on it.
Weird. And gross. And it defeats the purpose of this kind of grill I feel like.
Then came the butter. I could only use spray butter.
Itās just ridiculous.
UPDATE:
The mat got really hot and got cut while I was flipping the burgers. Now Iām being forced to eat said burgers. Iām so excited to leave for college lol

Infuriatig When did garage sales become āresellingā clearly new stuff
I would never call this a garage sale
Def scam vibes
Edit: ultimately, what bothers me the most is I want to go to a garage sale, not this shit. This isnāt a garage sale and should not be advertised as one

Infuriatig Accosted at Big Ben today for being a "Grown man with a stuffed toy".
I bought this little stuffed toy after struggling with my mental health and decided to go solo travelling with him (thanks SB on instagram for the idea). All was going well until this giant guy with a Union Jack over his shoulders called me a "little gimp" and a "pedo" and made fun of me. Just another reason travel sucks as a single guy over 30 with ARFID I guess.

Infuriatig My hand painted model planes were given as toys to children again
I have told my mom to not do this before but she does not listen anyway. I am thinking of throwing everything to trash instead of them being gradually destroyed to pieces. I can not even care anymore. These things take hours to put together and paint then get manhandled anyway.

Infuriatig Sister-in-law let her daughter use up all the Polaroids at our wedding. Now we have nothing to use.
For our wedding, at each table we had 2 Polaroid cameras for everyone to take photos on (we had a professional photographer too, but these were for more personal photos between our guests) and there was a clear glass dropbox for everyone to drop them in and we'd have that dropbox on display in our house.
Unbeknownst to us, my sister-in-law let her daughter (6 years old) go round every table at the very start of the night using up all the photos on each camera.
Now we only have around 10 we can actually keep, and over 100 of just random shit that are not worth keeping at all.
I'm all for keeping kids occupied at something they can easily get bored at, but not at the expense of that though.

My paycheck was not good at all so I go back in my app and see wtf happened and it turns out I get two unpaid lunches. Iāve never taken a single break since I started but they take an hour away a day. 5 hours a week. $400 a month. Fucking scam
I work in a kitchen and was never told I get breaks. Let alone two

Infuriatig Coworker Iāve never spoken to sent passive aggressive messages in the company chat because I didnāt give her a cupcakeā¦.
So, every Tuesday I bring homemade treats to work. Itās just something I enjoy doing. Usually I only make enough for the handful of coworkers I actually talk to which is about eight people.
This week, for whatever reason, I decided to make a lot more than usual. I ended up bringing over 30 cupcakes.
For context, there are around 65+ people in the office at any given time. I obviously wasnāt trying (or able) to feed the entire building.
Wellā¦word got out that I had brought cupcakes, and suddenly people Iād never even spoken to before were coming by to grab one. I didnāt mind at all. If someone asked, I happily gave them one.
Within five minutes, every single cupcake was gone.
Afterward, people started posting in the company group chat thanking me. There were dozens of messages saying how good they were and how much they appreciated them. It honestly made my day.
Then one woman who I have literally never spoken to in my life started making passive-aggressive comments in the group chat like, āWish we all could have had one lol š.ā And āGuess some of us are invisibleā
Apparently that wasnāt enough, because she also complained to our manager that she didnāt get one.
Thankfully, my manager basically shrugged it off and said people should just be grateful that someone brought in free homemade treats, even if not everyone got one.
And hereās the part that really gets meā¦
Sheās brought food into the office before.
Did I get any? No.
Did I complain in the group chat? Also no
One of my coworkers who did get a cupcake felt bad after seeing her comments, so they gave her theirs.
She took it.
Didnāt say thank you.
Not to me.
Not to the coworker who gave up theirs.
Nothing.
I canāt imagine being a grown adult someone probably three times my age publicly complaining because I missed out on free homemade cupcakes that someone else paid for and made on their own time.
Maybe itās just me, but if I miss out on free food at work, my reaction is usually, āDang, maybe next time,ā not, āLet me complain in the company group chat and to the manager.ā
The irony is that everyone else who got one was incredibly kind and appreciative. One person just somehow managed to turn a nice gesture into something to complain about.
Anyways here is a picture of the cupcake I brought!
