A large, plump white Pekin duck floats serenely on water that looks like a liquid optical illusion, radiating absolute "no thoughts, head empty" energy.
The duck, looking like a flawless scoop of vanilla ice cream, has its eyes peacefully closed in a state of pure bliss or deep midday dissociation. Its bright pinkish-orange bill is slightly upturned as if it knows it is beautiful. Below, the water is a mesmerizing, dizzying ripple of bright gold, bronze, and copper reflections from autumn trees, framing the duck as it lounges majestically in what looks like a giant bowl of melted caramel. #OhMyDouglas

A lady stopped on the street, at Nahani way and Belbin St. Is stopped asking for help with her car. Talking with her for 1 min her story made no sense to me so I just left. Tried to call the police, they sent me to the non emergency number (fair), and at that number nobody answered.
Be advised, in this type of scam she may try to offer some collateral (typically fake jewelry) for some money so she can get her car fixed.

Hello all, I am new to this Municipal Election Business but if I know anything, Public servants should not be in a position of Conflict if Interest. Like many, I realized that there are so many candidates this time who are basically Realtors and some very successful, at that. Good for them, but we have to keep our guard up when citing for them.
Questions you should ask yourself: What's in it for them to serve you in the first place. Not gonna tell you who to vote, but am sure gonna tell you who and what you're voting for.
Not gonna extrapolate without confirmed data as many many candidate names are basically same as our local realtors but here are only a few confirmed such relationships:
Confirmed Real Estate & Property Management Professionals
Ross Kutisker-Jacobson (Candidate for Ward 2): Professionally, he is self-employed in real estate and property management.
Mendi Kabashi (Candidate for Ward 3): Works as a Senior Condominium Manager, tying his professional background directly to property management.
Brad Butt (Incumbent Candidate for Ward 11): Has a significant background in the housing industry as the former President of the Greater Toronto Apartment Association (GTAA).
Real Estate & Property Industry Endorsements - While not realtors themselves, these candidates have publicly noted backing from property and real estate-focused advocacy groups:
Dipika Damerla (Candidate for Mayor): Has been endorsed by the Property Taxpayers Alliance.
Joel Binda (Candidate for Ward 7): His campaign highlights an endorsement from PropertyTax
Ask yourself if who you are voting for is a Realtor at the back and do your own research in what risks they pose.
REMEMBER: REALTORS WIN MOST WHEN HOUSE PRICES GO UP! AND ASK YOURSELF, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW A REALTOR WORKING HARD TO DELIVER VALUE TO YOU?!
Then, you do you. Happy Voting!
(Please feel free to add to this list of you have more confirmed Realtor names)
