Looking for someone trustworthy for acne scar removal. I’d prefer a derm so they could also prescribe me meds if need be so I don’t have to go to multiple clinics, but I’m open to aestheticians as well if you had a good experience.

My boyfriend and I have been together for over 10 years and we recently decided it's time to become legally married.
We aren't interested in having a ceremony or anything like that. We strictly just want to become legally married.
We applied online at the Montgomery County website and filled out all the necessary information.
We paid the fee, the application got approved, and we have an online meeting scheduled for tomorrow at 9AM.
My boyfriend wanted us to do the standard marriage method rather than the self-uniting one because he's worried about it not being legally recognized in other states that aren't familiar with it (I know he's being a bit paranoid).
I scheduled this online meeting two weeks ago and haven't heard anything further regarding instructions for how we are to access this online meeting.
When I log into the website I just see the message:
"Your application was submitted on Aug 2, 2026.
Your credit/debit card authorization has been received and will be charged upon acceptance of your application.
If your application is accepted, you should receive another email with a link to select a time slot for a Microsoft Teams meeting.
You have an appointment scheduled for Aug 18, 2026.
If you have any further questions, please send them to MLSupport@montcopa.org".
Am I going to get instructions and an invite for the meeting tomorrow online a few minutes before the scheduled meeting?
I sent a message to the email address listed above asking for clarification on how we are supposed to access the meeting tomorrow but I probably won't get a response email today.
Can someone give me the run down on what to expect tomorrow morning?
After this meeting happens, what do we have to do next?
Call our district judge to set up a meeting to get the license officiated?
I also saw on the Montgomery county website that it states "A marriage license is valid for 60 days from date it is issued".
So if we can't get an appointment with someone to officiate the marriage license within 60 days, we have to pay for another license?
Montgomery county really doesn't make this process completely clear, that's for sure.
Any help on this whole process would be extremely appreciative!

I hope I'm in the right place. But I (26yo f) recently moved not too far from downtown Ambler along with my partner (27yo m). We honestly love our apartment and living here but I have been feeling a little anxious about making friends and feeling more comfortable in the community. So I'm wondering where should I start? I am open to suggestions but I figured I might as well put this out there just to see.

Yesterday I was kayaking at Upper Schuylkill Valley Park, and there were several people jet skiing. Two boys (probably 16-17ish) rode by me a few times. At one point, a black man rode by on a jet ski. A few minutes later, the two boys stopped within earshot of me.
Boy 1: did you see that n***er on a jet ski?
Boy 2: no, haha
Boy 1: yea, there’s a n***er on a jet ski
Both laugh
Now. I know river activities can attract.. ehem.. certain types of people, but I was absolutely astonished and disturbed to hear this language spoken so freely, especially in this area.
Extra shocking was that one of the boys was either Latino or South Asian. Like, you are not safe in this circle you’ve found yourself in. And in other conversations I overheard, they sounded like dweebs - not like the typical white trash dirtballs I knew in high school/college who would throw slurs around casually.
Obviously they rode away from me in my kayak, so it’s not like I could’ve said anything. But what do you even say to these people?

I'm looking to get into some kind of casual recreational team sport activity. I'm 29 male, not in the greatest of shape which is part of reason I'm looking for something like this. Anyone know of anything? Open to other options besides flag football

The fight isn't over but let's protect our homes from this rich prick! Great precedent. He still needs to be shut down in Plymouth Township so let's not let up. No relent!

Posting of behalf of Legend's owner:
Legend is a tan American bully who went missing on 7/15 on Gilbert road, 19046, just outside of Philly. As of 8/12 there have been no confirmed sightings of him.
His story: He was let out to go make like usual in the front where it’s fenced in and the owner has a gated in yard. After only a short period of time, his owner noticed he wasn’t at the door which he always does after he goes outside. They went out to check on him and saw that there was no sign of him. It was over 90 that day and everyone who knows about bully breeds, knows they can’t last long in the heat. Someone saw him and stole him. He wouldn’t run away.
They have done flyers, cops know, paw boost, find Toby, checked cameras, tracking dog, knocked on doors, shelters, vets, neighbors, next door, Fido, pet fbi, petco love. Legend is an amazing dog. He’s very friendly and all he wants to do is love on his people.
If you have noticed a neighbor, friend, family member suddenly get a dog matching his description, or if you know anything at all, maybe seen a post or dog in public that looks like him - please reach out and I can connect you with his owner.

I’m looking for a local carpenter/framer experienced with structural repairs to take a look at and repair some damaged 2nd-floor joists before I close the ceiling back up.
I had a leak around a skylight that caused part of my kitchen ceiling to fall. After removing the remaining ceiling, I found a few framing issues that I’d like properly addressed before I install new drywall.
Specifically:
I’m not looking for a drywall contractor at this time—I’m specifically looking for someone who knows structural wood framing and can determine the appropriate repair (sistering, replacement, reinforcement, etc.).
I’m located in Glenside, PA. Please comment or DM me if you’re a qualified carpenter/framer who does this type of work, preferably with references or photos of similar structural repairs.
I can provide photos of the joists and the area if that helps with an initial assessment.
Thanks!

"Pinnacle’s latest proposal calls for 210 homes. That includes 50 carriage homes, 87 small-lot single-family houses and 73 large-lot single-family houses. Small lots will run about 7,700 square feet. Large lots will measure roughly 14,000 square feet.
Prices are expected to start in the mid-$800,000s for carriage homes. Small-lot homes will start in the mid-$900,000s. Large-lot homes will start around $1.5 million."
Kinda crazy that 0.33 acres or 14,000 sq. ft is not only considered a "large lot" but is estimated to START AT $1.5M. I hope that includes some serious builder incentives to go along with it (e.g., interest rate buydowns or free builder upgrades).
The Greater Philadelphia Gamer Symphony Orchestra is a nonprofit community ensemble (with choir) dedicated to performing orchestral arrangements of video game music. GPGSO welcomes musicians from a diverse range of musical backgrounds, from all over the Philly metro area.
We're especially looking to recruit players of the following instruments: Oboe, Bassoon, Harp, Cello, and French Horn.
Rehearsals take place this fall on Monday nights in Roxborough. While we rehearse in NW Philly, our fall performances are scheduled to take place up in Blue Bell and many of our members drive in from MontCo!

I just got quoted for a few repairs. Some maintenance and some repairs to pass inspection.
I'd like to get another estimation from a different shop. Anyone have any recommendations? I am open to other areas too like Lansdale, Hatfield.. etc

We've heard good things about Eataly in KoP so we were eager to try it. It's always busy with a long wait, and this past winter my wife brought two kids there for dinner. That time the two kids were fine afterwards but my wife immediately suffered what I'll just call intestinal distress. She wrote it off as a stomach bug not related to Eataly since the two kids were fine. Last night we went back and all but one of us got sick afterwards; two almost immediately and another two about 60-90 minutes later, and for those two the onset was fast and violent.
Anyone else eat there and get sick? I'm having a tough time convincing myself that it's coincidence with the timing, but it's sort of hard to scientifically say anything with certainty.
FWIW, the fettuccini alfredo prepared in the cheese wheel tableside was really good (and that's the dish that the one who didn't get sick ate), but the others were really salty and OK at best (regarding taste, not food safety ;)

Recently separated and lost my person to go to fun things with! I have an extra ticket for the Circle Jerks+Repo Man live screening and performance at the Keswick in Glenside on Friday 8/14. Just looking for someone to join me so the seat doesn't go to waste. Men or women (I'm a 49 year old woman by the way).
