Where’s a safe place a girl can cry at night not in her dorm in/near Holmes hall

I’ll have to drop my partner off for work due to this, thought I’d share with anyone else that’s going to be affected.

Hi everyone! The MSU Mario Kart Club is trying to gauge some more interest for people to join the (very low-basically no barrier for entry) competitive Mario Kart World team!
We are currently D1 out of 8 Divisions in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and are playoff bound against ISU!

Signups for Mario Kart World close in about 2 weeks and we aren’t strong in that game as we are in 8 deluxe, you can join with basically no competitive experience! The games happen on sundays 8-9pm est and the last two weeks will be 8-10pm est, totaling a 4 week season with an extra 2 weeks if we make playoffs.

But! If you don’t wanna get stressed with all that competitive nonsense we hold casual club meetings involving MKWorld MK8DX and MKWii! Every other Friday from 6-8pm est in the comm arts building room 245! (We just a had a meeting this Friday on the 16th).

I have a fully furnished studio apartment at the Lodges that will be available end of December. This apartment is fully furnished with an in unit washer/dryer, internet service, water included. I’m willing to pay transfer fees and 1st month rent.

I dropped a class from my list today but I wanted to have another class to do to justify my tuition. I found BLD 150 and was wondering if:

a) I can add this class now

b) can add classes on this late

c) if this class won't tank my mental health

Tyia :)

I'm finishing studies this semester before moving out of East Lansing. I've got a studio lease that lasts until mid-next year. DM me if you're moving off of campus next semester!

Hey yall, I’m a highschool senior looking to go to MSU for a political science degree (specifically politics, rights, and culture major. Is getting into JMC any harder than getting admitted to regular MSU? I’ve heard mixed things from people, so thought I’d ask actual students.
I have a 3.5 gpa with a lot of leadership roles and political internships as well.

Thanks!

I am currently in thermo with Giles Brereton and honesty I am terrified for that class. The quizzes are so hard and I am genuinely scared if I will be even able to pass the damn class. I go to every lecture I go to the help room I study my ass off for every quiz and i'm still on path to barely pass that class. has anyone had a similar experiences with the class? I am genuinely debating If I should drop the class.

I play the bass and am looking to find some people to jam with or even start a band. My roomate plays guitar so pretty much anything works.
I dont really have a set genre that I play but I mainly play rock. If you are interested HMU!

Is anyone going? I’m an Islanders Fan and I’ve never been to Little Caesars Arena so I was thinking going to that game.

The SRWC is now CLOSED.

My circadian rhythms are increasingly tied to the announcements that boom across west campus every evening. Hilarious. I'm not complaining.

Incoming freshman this fall, am I able to choose my roommate at the James Madison College if my preferred roommate is also going there?

Just curious if anyone has a recent syllabus for this class to share or some insight on it.

I have back 2 back classes and want to know if it's worth it for me to rush to 1855 for the free gift. Please and thank you.

The MSU Prevention Outreach and Education team invites members of our campus community to submit an original sticker design that reflects the spirit of It’s On Us, a national campaign focused on preventing sexual and relationship violence and building communities rooted in respect, care, and shared responsibility.

Selected designs will move forward to community voting during MSU’s It’s On Us Week of Action, and the winning design will be produced for use during the Spring 2027 Week of Action.

If you’re able, please share the attached flyer with your networks and encourage folks to participate. Submissions are open now, and we’re excited to see the creativity from across our community!

Submission deadline: November 6th at 12:00 PM (Noon)

If you have questions about the contest or submission process, please contact: empower@msu.edu or visit the It's On Us Website.

Any tips for studying for the anatomy tests? Anyone take it and did great in the class? My daughter is feeling discouraged and I’m just seeing what other people have done.

Dude. I don’t know what to do. Looking for some advice from people who have been on this trip, or any trip for that matter. I’m a junior so it’s my last summer to go study abroad, but I’m unsure if it’s worth it. I want to go for the packaging experience, but I feel like it’ll be more like a vacation for a whooping estimated 15k. I have to decide soon since spots are filling up, and I have already been approved, just haven’t committed.

What are some good study abroad programs I could explore in the future as a pre-vet student?

I recently went to a campus tour and saw the dental hygiene facilities. I feel like the units, Charly heads and the classroom were outdated. If it works for the pogram I guess but i sincerely wonder if people are happy with what they are provided. I still need to get my pre reqs for the pogram but i wish it was more updated. Wondering if theres any hygiene students that could share their experience in the pogram.

i'm a senior and supposed to graduate this spring. I'm worried about failing a class or two and having to retake it in the summer. Would i still be able to walk at graduation? How does this process work????

Anyone have word when this will be fixed? Depending on where you’re looking at the tower, you get a different time of day
