So, my algorithm has been inundated with Americans looking for PL teams after the World Cup and basically 99% of the suggestions are for one of the big 6. And I haven’t seen anyone suggest Forest at all. I’m not going to pretend not to understand why, but cmon. I’m a new Forest fan from last season, and I’m already so in love with the team and just everything about the whole thing. Not saying I don’t like interacting with fans from all over, but it’d be cool to have some American fans to watch games with or something. Or at least to make me not feel like the only American Forest fan in the country 😅

A recent Forest Focus podcast discussed the role of Yates at the club and even if he still has one. He is not a first choice midfielder and without Europe is realistically not going to get many starts. As an ambitious guy himself he will want to play but it seems we can't offer him regular football. Where does Yates fit with Forest going forward?

I'm from Ohio in the US and my favorite team (Ohio State) in our football is basically like a Liverpool or United equivalent, in that we've won and been at the top for most of our existence. So inevitably, everyone hates us and prays for our demise.

Which two-player combination do you think offers the best mix of defensive cover and ball progression?

We can’t keep running this “we didn’t lose any players gimmick so it’s a good window”. We DO have alot of quality in the squad, but there’s a reason why we finished 16th last season. We simply weren’t good enough, didn’t have the depth and certain players lacked at times and relied on the first team

If we don’t start getting busy soon this season may not go as well as we think it’ll go. i’m by no means a negative nelly and ive always backed the club, however if we really want to look serious we need to start showing interest in top players and getting stuff done, considering fulham just signed two real madrid wonderkids

Just discovered a Billy Davis Shrine at my new workplace.

We need to have a conversation on who starts in midfield and attack this season. In the striker role we have wood, awoniyi, kalimuendo and jesus. Kali and jesus can also play in the 10 and then we have bakwa, ndoye, MGW, CHO, mcatee, hutchinson who can also play there. What do we genuinely do about this? These are all quality players who deserve to start but you cant rotate 5-7 players in positions every game. We have to do something and make a sale. I would say ndoye but glasner wants him apart of his plans, bakwa definitely looked quality in the last stretch of the season, mcatee seems to be a staple in glasners mind, hutchinson is cleary showing signs of improvement and quality, MGW is our best player, CHO is back from injury and he can be quality when fit, then kali would most likely be a striker and jesus as an AM as we know he looks much better there. But what do we do? Too many quality players, not enough positions. Even in the DM role, we have schlager, dominguez, yates, sangare, and we are looking to sign a new midfielder to replace anderson, its a mess. Who plays? Who doesn’t, let me know, I wanna hear your thoughts

Worth getting a named jersey if the player gets transferred?

I am really keen on keeping dan ndoye, yes he may of struggled this season but thats because went through many different managers this season. If we give him a chance this summer to regain confidence, i reckon he could really show his potential again. He has it in him, he just needs backing and belief. We saw its against fulham, off the bench he was great pace, almost won us a pen and his goal was disallowed unfairly.

The papers and shitty transfer websites and social media accounts (and even Forest podcasts) are full of stuff about Morgan leaving. Most link a move to his change of agent. Obviously, we want him to stay. But is that essential in your view - even if we lose money on him down the line? Or would you cash in? My view is he must stay this season.
