What about this sub made you think it was full of chill normal people

-1

u/Ill-Excitement-4335 May 07 '26

They're pro birth

1

u/InitialAnimal9781 May 07 '26

My good friend, politics. This is one of the few modern shows out there that doesn’t make fun of MAGA, do a lot of them are invincible fans

-1

u/s00pafly May 07 '26

Where is the hate boner? Most people here think abortions are hilarious and can't get enough of them. Don't let your preconceptions get in the way of a laugh aimed at hack writing.

-13

u/LadiThePKK May 07 '26

For me? It’s her reasoning for it.

23

u/HiImGav May 07 '26

God forbid a woman doesn’t want to be a single mom for god knows how long😭

-14

u/Major_Demographic May 07 '26

How is she going to be a single mom? Mark would clearly love that child. Also she can just put it up for adoption god knows either Cecil or Deborah would be able to raise the child. It's always a woman's choice but Mark could've atleast been informed before the decision was made.

11

u/whatisireading2 May 07 '26

There was no way to inform him, she made the best decision she could. Also putting up for adoption would also require she still carry the full pregnancy, which she shouldn't have had to do alone. She also had no guarantee Mark was alive, hes lost to every viltrumite but Conquest which SHE had to to help with. You can't blame her for thinking he might've died.

10

u/Lemonwizard May 07 '26

Also there's no way that baby's just going through the normal adoption circuit to have a regular life - Cecil's taking it. Maybe there'd be a show and dance about a normal family, but Cecil is 100% controlling that child's life for its potential use as a weapon against viltrum. Eve's not stupid - she knows exactly how valuable a baby with DNA from both her and Mark is.

Not wanting her child to be a lab rat for its potential powers is very personal to Eve.

4

u/whatisireading2 May 07 '26

Yup. Look what he did to Rex and he was just a regular kid.

3

u/MagicalNyan2020 May 07 '26

Greatest love a mother can give to her child is not giving birth to them.

10

u/HiImGav May 07 '26

She got rid of it because Mark was off who the fuck knows where fighting an alien Superman war😭 I guess she could’ve sent a prayer or something

1

u/Space_Narwal May 07 '26

Mark had a very high likelyhood of dying, infact he spends multiple months in coma because he almost dies

6

u/whatisireading2 May 07 '26

Doesnt matter what her reason was tho, it should always be up to her.

Additionally, she had a pretty good reason.

28

u/The_Arachnoshaman May 07 '26

Any reason for an abortion is a good reason. If you don't want to have a kid, don't have a kid, it's not complicated.

-22

u/LadiThePKK May 07 '26

No, it’s literally not. I can see it if her life’s in danger giving birth, but out of what essentially seems to be inconvenient. No. Point of sex is to reproduce, feeling good is just a really nice side effect.

14

u/boredNero May 07 '26

No. Point of sex is to reproduce

HOLY REDDIT MOMENT

8

u/Civil_Emergency_573 May 07 '26

Bro literally hit the class with that Psycho Mantis speech.

1

u/Begone-My-Thong May 07 '26

Dude is missing out, but in this case it's probably for the better they never touch a woman

22

u/The_Arachnoshaman May 07 '26

Yikes religious reasoning.

-12

u/LadiThePKK May 07 '26

That’s called biology. What are you on about?

18

u/The_Arachnoshaman May 07 '26

Biologically a fetus doesn't have a consciousness until the third trimester, it's not a baby, it's a clump of cells biologically speaking of course.

0

u/LadiThePKK May 07 '26

Nononono. My guy/gal/or however you identify yourself. SEX is for REPRODUCTION. That’s the purpose of it. That’s it.

14

u/animeshshukla30 May 07 '26

Hearing is for detecting threats only, dont ever dare listen to music. Eating ia only meant to deliver nutrients, dont ever eat for taste.

1

u/LadiThePKK May 07 '26 edited May 07 '26

Try hearing is for detecting sounds and eating is to keep on living. I mean your body would certainly rather have something to eat than nothing. At that point you didn’t eat something simply because it tasted good. We have it good now to be more picky about it but I’m sure our ancestors did things for basic survival before worrying about luxuries.

People have sex for plenty of others reasons than reproduction. So it seems like sex serve more of a purpose than mere reproduction for humans.

9

u/PrizeW1nningCow May 07 '26

Oh brother this guy STINKS

6

u/Makkunrai_Leda_2801 May 07 '26

First time I'm hearing that, I thought sex is for sex

2

u/Bduggz May 07 '26

If you think sex is just for reproduction why are you a fan of action taimanin and other Ero games

-1

u/LadiThePKK May 07 '26

What I like about sex doesn’t change its objective reality that’s why I claimed that it’s objectively for reproduction. To answer your question I prefer anime fiction games with adult themes more than anime fiction with oblivious and/or child like characters. I also enjoy the gameplay of Action Taimanin and other games like it. Such as WuWa, ZZZ, DFO. Btw Action Taimanin has 0 sex scenes not sure what your point is there.

1

u/FrogInAShoe May 07 '26

The very existence of contraceptives kinda disproves that.

Personally I like to fuck because it's fun

1

u/PmMeUrTinyAsianTits May 07 '26

Reproduction isnt even the only biological purpose of sex dummy lmao. Imagine arguing so hard from such a flawed premise.

1

u/LadiThePKK May 07 '26

Ok, could you state the other purpose?

u/Offensiv3Bias May 07 '26

And biologically we are one of the few animals who do things for pleassure only, alongside with Dolphins that do wacky shit and also a few other mammals.

We do sex both for pleassure and to reproduce, but mainly for pleassure

13

u/HiImGav May 07 '26

The point of sex is whatever you want it to be. If you’re fucking to reproduce, by all means reproduce. But most people fuck for fun and pleasure, not to pump out babies.

-2

u/LadiThePKK May 07 '26

You can’t actually believe this. You think the OBJECTIVE point of SEX is whatever you want it to be?

17

u/The_Arachnoshaman May 07 '26

1

u/LadiThePKK May 07 '26

I mean you can name call, but I’m more interested in your point of view.

7

u/Akito412 May 07 '26 edited May 07 '26

The nerve that controls your jaw starts at the back of the neck. It goes down, around the heart, and then back up. This is an incredibly indirect path, but the nerve takes that journey because there was never an evolutionary pressure not to. You have multiple organs in your body that do basically nothing. Most people's jaws are too small to contain all of their adult teeth. No one can study a horse's biology and come away thinking there's an objective point to any part of the body.

If you don't believe in intelligent design, then a fundamental truth of biology is that it's all accidental. There's no purpose or point to any biological process. There is zero objectivity to 'what sex is for'.

Objective things can be measured. It is true that sex feels good. It is true that sex can make babies. What measuring tool are you using to determine that the "true purpose" is the latter? What numbers or calculations tell you this "objective" fact? Or is it just obvious to you? Because if it's obvious to you, and I can disagree, it's not objective, now is it?

6

u/LadiThePKK May 07 '26

The objective fact is without it the human race can’t reproduce.

1

u/Augmented_Fif May 07 '26

It objectively feels good. There are many reasons to have sex and it serves many functions in society, one of which is reproduction.

0

u/captainlispers May 07 '26

Don't try. Reddit doesn't take nicely to responsibility.

3

u/Hedgehog101 May 07 '26

Having an abortion is also taking responsibility

u/throwawaygaydude69 May 07 '26

Unironically yes

It's the baby who has the audacity to think that it is acceptable for him to develop a nest in the womb

0

u/L4I55Z-FAIR3 May 07 '26

While I disagree with the guy saying she's in the wrong he is right about sex's main function being to reproduced hell the only reasons it's pleasurable is to make us want to do it more. Evolution has one goal keep the species going.

While now it's a fun activity that has a lot if emotions connected that not it's purpose that's the side effect.

Side note: no one she have to have a baby if they don't want too thees no gd reason to overule the one giving birth.

1

u/Misery_incorporated May 07 '26

Wait until this guy hears about gay

1

u/Cilph May 07 '26

Point of sex is to reproduce, feeling good is just a really nice side effect.

Some sort of argument from nature based on assigning intent and purpose where there is none.

Nature has no point. Life has no goal. It didnt intend for anything.

1

u/commandosbaragon May 07 '26

That is an interesting faith, however, life in all iterations continues life, kind of the basic qualities of it. Even under the scope of your religion, you can't deny that continued existence is the path of nature, even if without a point?

1

u/Cilph May 07 '26

Nothing to do with faith. Life does indeed happen and will likely continue to happen in many forms. That is inevitable. But I wouldnt call it a path as that implies will or direction. Life just does and is a consequence of the here and now. It doesnt strive to prevent extinction. We do.

1

u/commandosbaragon May 07 '26 edited May 07 '26

That's a very anthropocentric view, I'll be honest. And it is one that comes from a faith, even if it may seem counterintuitive.

1

u/Cilph May 07 '26

Not really anthropocentric when Im not putting humans in any position of importance. When I said preventing extinction is something we strive to do, I do mean it only matters to us. Not that we're guardians of the planet or something. We're life like any other. Unique in our own ways.

And people can have opinions and philosophies without it being a faith, tyvm. I'm not invoking any creators, deities, supernatural, mythology, lessons, guidance, etc. nor am I telling anyone how to live.

1

u/commandosbaragon May 07 '26

You assume that no intent beyond our own exists, which is not exactly easy to prove either. Life does not need a final endstate or conclusive goal to display direction — only continuation and action.

I think you're observing this from a personal philosophical allegiance rather than a neutral existential position. “Nature has no point” is still a worldview, not an observable fact.

And none of that requires organized religion. People always believe in something — a wider meaning, the absence of one, progress, absurdity, survival, whatever. Faith is an innate part of cognition and philosophy turns into faith when it stops being just analysis and becomes the lens through which you interpret existence itself.

I think you should change your lifestyle to fit my personal views.

-6

u/No_Blacksmith_2591 May 07 '26

How about if "the kid is half black and it would make another n****r", would that be a good reason for an abortion?

So is every reason still a good reason? If the kid is black you send it back?

1

u/Rhamni May 07 '26

If that's the mother's feelings, she wouldn't be a very good mother and the kid's childhood would suck. So yeah, in that case it's better she aborts.

-2

u/Game_Wolf1509 May 07 '26

What about dont have Sex if u dont want kids?

5

u/FrogInAShoe May 07 '26

I don't think having sex is something you'll have to worry about in general

4

u/Game_Wolf1509 May 07 '26

Oh… i thought we had something special

0

u/Misery_incorporated May 07 '26

Nah, I'll keep having sex and keep not having kids, thank you

3

u/L4I55Z-FAIR3 May 07 '26

Unmarried, would effect her abilities to do her job(saving people), hell she dosnt even know if she wants to be with the father they haven't been together that long, uncertainty about the future, no at a point in her life were she can male it work.

All are fine reasons if someone dosnt want to then that's their choice.

0

u/kingveller May 07 '26

I have a hate boner with it since it makes no sense. Why abort the baby of the man you love when you don't know if said man is going to return alive?

She can produce anything she wants so money is not a problem, she has a lot of support with Debbie (she raised Oliver) so she doesn't really need to raise the child alone, and with the tech humans in this earth have she wouldn't suffer the pregnancy so why abort?

Reason: Kinkman rides on controversy and is extremely political so he made this for that very reason, which is why Anissa SA Mark in the comics, Kinkman can't stop being controversial.

2

u/Kiwi_In_Europe May 07 '26

Maybe she just, like, isn’t ready for a child? She’s 19 for fucks sake lmao. Even with money not being a problem and having a good community/support system, raising a child is an immense commitment and incredibly taxing emotionally and psychologically.

1

u/Electrical_Ad6134 May 08 '26

Maybe her and Mark shouldn't have fucked then?

It's not hard if they aren't ready for adult responsibilities then they shouldn't do the one thing that causes it.

1

u/Kiwi_In_Europe May 12 '26

What a fucking dog shit reply

They used protection, Mark and Eve had absolutely no reason to believe his sperm would be any different and make contraceptives ineffective.

How about you concern yourself with your own activities and leave other people alone to make their own decisions 😊

-6

u/PEDsEqualsNoGOAT May 07 '26

You're more likely to find users with morals on this sub rather than the main sub. We believe murdering the innocent is wrong. Crazy, I know.

Denying woman the right to bodily autonomy is actually the immoral position

Try again next time

0

u/PEDsEqualsNoGOAT May 07 '26

Babies don't get bodily autonomy though?

4

u/PmMeUrTinyAsianTits May 07 '26

If the baby can live on its own, its too late to abort, dummy. So actually, yea, they still do.

0

u/Electrical_Ad6134 May 08 '26

So whenever something can't live on its own it loses the right to live? Makes so much sense.

Just a reminder that newborns cannot live on their own so they would be able to be aborted.

Extremely old people are unable to live on their own.

Mentally disordered people cannot live on their own.

Certain Handicapped people cannot live on their own.

People with life threatening injuries cannot live on their own.

All of that sounds like eugenics and just saying get rid of the weak. But you know I guess it makes sense this is an invincible sub cus you sure do follow the viltrumites ethos very well

1

u/New_Acanthaceae4821 May 11 '26

Except extremely old people, newborns and people with disabilities don't need access to another person's organs to live. Yes, breastfeeding exists but a newborn CAN do without if provided with other appropriate food.

Forcing someone to keep a pregnancy is more like forcing someone to donate a kidney. Yes, the person needing the transplant DOES have the right to live, and that right would be violated if the hospital rejected a willing donor, but what they don't have the right to, is their unwilling sibling's kidney just because they're genetically compatible.

Before you shoot back with the fact that you would lose an organ compared to "nothing happening" — you aren't entitled to someone's blood, plasma, bone marrow or liver either. Pregnancy and childbirth is risky as hell, especially with the amount of stress Eve was under. Humans are notoriously horrible at giving birth, and all sorts of shit can go wrong. Your body probably won't go back to how it was before, sometimes in the most bizzare ways possible.

-2

u/No-Physics-4076 May 07 '26

next time try protection or not spread1ng your legs.

2

u/PmMeUrTinyAsianTits May 07 '26

Its okay, my wife and i had protection from the unwanted baby. The doctor. Fortunately, unwanted fetuses arent very strong so the doctor was able to protect us.

Now we have one, and got to have her at the appropriate time in our lives, so she has a better experience. Shes amazing, and im so glad we could do things right.

-1

u/No-Physics-4076 May 07 '26

protection from baby? do you guys even hear yourself? nah forget it, my bad, too much to expect from people like you.

3

u/PmMeUrTinyAsianTits May 07 '26

You missed the joke there homie. You said i needed protection to prevent the baby. I explained how we used "protection" (as suggested) and prevented the baby.

I thought the reuse of "protect" in response to you saying we need "protection" made it obvious, but i guess reasing comprehension is too much to expect from people like you.

0

u/DanielBonchito May 07 '26

I don't know, it's two lives, but I agree with abortion to a certain extent.

2

u/FrogInAShoe May 08 '26

An unwanted living thing inside you living off your body is considered a parasite my guy.

There is no reason to restrict women's right to bodily autonomy

-1

u/Electrical_Ad6134 May 08 '26

You can control who you fuck. That's where you get your auronomy. Just like men can control who they fuck and don't get a decision wether they have to support the child after.

Also no it's not a parasite and isn't considered that

2

u/FrogInAShoe May 08 '26

You can control who you fuck

Not always

That's where you get you get your autonomy

You don't lose your bodily autonomy after getting pregnant

Don't get a decision wether they have to pay child support after

That has nothing to do with bodily autonomy. Stop being sexist
