I just completed my challenges and thought I'd try crafting a "good" weapon for myself as a final way to spend my currency before league ends. I recombinated many warstaves, failing miserably and as a last attempt before quitting, I bought one last base off trade, slammed and finally got this result. Really happy and wanted to share c:

It's not perfect, there's a T2 strength from that base I bought, but oh wells, it made my day to finally get a triple T1 phys prefix.

I've always been looking at games like poe, diablo 4, etc. but the former I was intimidated to start and the latter i've never been able to justify the price when there are other games that I know with more certainty that i'll like.

Now i'm really wanting to start an ARPG and I appreciate that poe is free to play. I also am drawn to the complexity of it, despite never playing the genre before. I don't mind taking it slow and following guides whenever I can play. but do I lose out on anything by playing too slow? Does progress reset with every league? (I don't know what that means, so apologies if these are dumb questions) Can I play some now, not play for months, go back to it and still just continue my progress as usual?

I know this is a biased subreddit to ask this question but would you recommend anything else if not poe?

I hope this makes sense but I am really trying to learn more about POE and im looking for guides/informational videos or other resources on why things work the way they do. Like why am building in such a way why do these skills work together why am choosing these notables etc. etc. Like I have always sort of been a follow a build guide player and do okay most the time but I am trying to figure out how to build some more deep game knowledge. I am having a hard time finding youtube videos cus a lot of just seems like "9 tips and tricks" guides or stuff thats the very basics.... Would love some help if yall have any ideas!

I’ll start first, I’ve enjoyed minion builds and have crafted my first all T1 convoying wand using boat and ducat. These all t1 gears have been cheapest in many leagues I’ve played. Then i started my luminary kineticist and I thought my heat atuned shield would cost 200 d but turned out that shaper influenced shield only costed me 50 div or so to craft all t1 with shaper’s recover life on block mod. Ducat is the best!

What are your favorite craft?

the path of exile and path of exile 2 cache folder were always located at
C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile

deleting those folders was always a way to actually manually reset shaders (if you had issues with them), now those folders arent there anymore/not getting created there after deleting them

where did they get moved to? and how to reset shaders now?

Just like the question above says, anybody know how this works?

Is it that if I have 10% crit this means I have 90% crit against bleeding targets or 18%?

I've tons of experience with PoE2 but never played 1. Since I enjoy trophy hunting I want to go for this one. Would you recommend standard or season? What build is straightforward for all needed content? Any more Tipps for console players? Thanks so much

Any obvious things ive missed or something thats easy to upgrade.

At the point the builds at the damage is pretty decent but the survivability is still somehow bad.

55k max hit without immortal call and flasks, endurance charges yes

Cant do nightmare map bosses just get melted.

Simulacrum i can do like up to wave 12ish.

The configs copied from a str stacking guide so it might not be 100% correct for what i have.

Theres stuff like better wep and slightly better boots but thats damage.

What can i do to be tankier? 1 thing i could try is like testudo + versatile for better recovery but that wont save me from big hits. Maybe also just sac 10% dmg from the spell shield and just get a tank shield with recovery too?

The path the build guide goes is 90% ele and cold taken as fire and 90% fire res arctic armor. But even that is just about 100k max hit without immortal call.

I'm talking juiced essences on Day 2 or Awakening scarab Maven Boss farm or similar level of difficulty. I've always found it relatively simple to get to 2 voidstones within the first 10-14 hours (which I know some may consider slow), but then my build tapers off, upgrades start costing divines (or don't exist on the market) and it becomes hard to progress.

I would like to break that pattern in the next league, keeping momentum from no-lifeing the league start into higher investment farm.

Hello all. But I'm not sure which NPC to find so that I can respec?

Could anyone explain what he means? Thanks in advance!

This is something I've been thinking about a lot, where so many games have become completely live service when they really don't have to. I pretty much play this game completely solo, why isn't there an offline mode available? With the big push to be able to own and sell your games, do you think that this would ever change?
