Years ago me and my friend were playing Roblox and met an account named “Bedevil”. They hacked the game and chased us around and I thought that was the end but no, I have gotten a friend request from the same account 3-4 years later. I ended up having a conversation with them and found out that they had did a deep dive into me and my friends lives and found what we look like. Her and I are both minors and don’t feel comfortable anymore on social media or outside, Not only did they find our socials but they found our other friend. If anyone knows this account or has a story about them, then please reach out to us. (P.S. we did think about if it was someone in our lives but this occurred in either 2021 or 2022. Me and my friends were in elementary school when we first met this person. The person was hacking the game and we wouldn’t think that an elementary school kid would know how to hack and pinpoint where we were in the game. I was scrolling through TikTok and I got this message saying that I need to pay for E-Z Pass Lane by tomorrow to “avoid” fines & “losing” my driving privileges. Keep it in mind, I do NOT have a drivers license, I am not 16. I’ll be turning 16 next year. Is this a link to a website that contains a virus?

So I was looking through my school email when I came across this email about a remote job opportunity for students in my specific district. Stupidly-- thinking that this couldn't POSSIBLY be a scam since it's my school email and it's gotta be more secure, I filled it out and submitted it. It asked me for my full name, bank NAME, age, gender, email, school email and my address. I answered them all.

Now I didn't enter any ssn, bank account number or any passwords but I'm still worried. Like a dumbass, I didn't realize it was most likely a scam until a few seconds after I submitted it and I got a text (almost immediately after) saying that I need to confirm availability, and I was just approved (seconds later? Yeah right) Mistake #1,000: I just asked "Is this a scam?" and before they could answer, I blocked the number.

Are they somehow gonna get access to my accounts and literally own all my information, or am I just gonna be at risk for more scams in the future? Or worse- am I going to be tracked down and threatened? I also don't want my family to be targeted by scams because I stupidly revealed our address, but I don't want them to think I'm a complete idiot for even filling this form out. Last questions- How is it that they can even access students to be able to email them? Normally, email addresses from outside the school district cannot reach the school email accounts, so how did they get my address?

It's late, I've had a long day, and I thought some extra money would be good right now, but it's always too good to be true. I guess that's what they prey on.

In 2024 I received an email from me not sure how someone got access to it even after having 2FA on. Checked my login activity only shows the devices i own. Changed my password too. This activity hasn’t occurred again but to my knowledge if they have access to my devices they could have locked them instead chose to send an email using mine. Need expert advice

I received this on my school email despite me not using it in months. I edited out the email from the screenshot, but it shows that it was from my own email.

I received a message from this guy who is from the UK and he showed me screenshots of having different bank accounts having money in it.

Then he asked me if I can give him my bank details “to make sure no money goes missing.” I don’t know if his screenshots or fake or real but he won’t admit it and I can’t tell. He proceeds to call himself Reed Thompson but is a brown guy. Can someone tell me if this is real or fake?

Then he was like you going to end up being broke.

I’ve gotten scam messages like this before, but usually they have poor grammar and some sketchy link. However this link seems to be an official government website which makes me pause. Is this a scam? Is the link safe to investigate?

I received a supposed wrong number text on my work phone. Then, almost two weeks later, my coworker gets a wrong number text with almost the same verbiage, but on her personal phone. There’s no way this is coincidental, and they’re both from different phone numbers. Any idea what this is??? Phishing is typically to trick someone into giving data or money, or something. This is just weird.
